I was hoping to see how the buckle was taken out and the welding work, we didn’t actually see very much. Hopefully you might be able to share more of the full process. I still enjoyed your video and hope you do more videos 👍.
Appreciate the feedback. Not always easy getting external companies to record the process for us but I’ll certainly try for future vids. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Good videos. just a suggestion, it would be good to see more of the prep work and techniques you guys use, and not so much time lapse. Not a criticism, genuinely interested. Great job on the wheels 👍👍
Whilst it could’ve been repaired it wouldn’t have been advisable. The amount of heat and pressure required to reshape the face would have likely weakened the structural integrity of the wheel. Something we weren’t prepared to chance, especially on a car with as much power as this one. We always operate on the notion that if there’s any doubt it’s always important to prioritise safety over convenience 👍🏻
If we had the car present whilst doing the refurbishment all tyres would be marked to ensure they would end up back in the same location. The wheels wouldn’t necessarily end up back in the same location though unless specifically requested by the customer or unless they were directional or staggered wheels. Hope this helps 👍🏻
@@DufferSeller Ceramic coat is the best thing for wheels. It’ll help prevent dirt and brake dust etc from sticking to the wheels and make cleaning them super easy. Just make sure to avoid any acidic cleaning products. Always make sure they say Acid Free or PH Neutral 👍🏻

Would have been nice to see how you strip them back !?!? Sand ? Walnut shells? Chemical dip ? Etc, thanks .
Could the damaged wheel have been repaired ?

Following a refurbishment would you put the tyre that came off the wheel prior to refurbishment back onto the same wheel?
