This is crazy! 😵 one of the files showed was that there's a rumor that BoA had a relationship with Lee Soo Man?? I know it was just a rumor but it honestly wouldn't surprise me if it was true or if something gross like that happened. I mean, she was at SM as a child and there are so many predators in the entertainment industry.

@@samriddhichaturvedi9509 it’s this huge case that involves minor/women being blackmailed, cyber tr@fficking, r@pe, and many other disgusting things. A bunch of famous people were part of it by buying those videos/pictures/requesting but they’re aren’t released to the public. You should research more about it if you want to know more.

So much of "advertising methods" is just misogyny and objectification. "sex sells" but it's really just images of women's bodies that they're selling
This is so scary though. Nobody is perfect so of course a lot of celebrities are going to have scandals or things they hide in their closets. This shouldn't take from how hard they work for their careers. They deserve to have privacy. Unless it's a criminal offense that they did I don't see anything here that warrants so much hate towards them. At the end of the day they're just people. They should be able to enjoy their right to privacy. It was a good move to sue

This is so crazy. It’s sad rumors could really hurt someone. And what makes it even more sad is people really do believe some of the stuff that they hear without even hearing from the celebrity side. I can’t imagine how many Korean celebrities have basically been destroyed because of false rumors. And because of the fact that nobody was willing to hear their side of the story.

This x-files could be considered as predecessor of "infos from sasaengs" that have been circulated for a while, so i would usually take that kind of files with a huge grain of salt. It is really sad that people tends to look at the rumors section with "they make a lot of money anyway, so let's roast them to make me feel good about myself" mentality instead of innocent untill proven guilty way, because there are so many times when people's dreams and life have been destroyed before the rumours are told to be false

It makes sense that the focus is on the idol's popularity, image and personality. As the success of a marketing campaign consisting of a celebrity, is not affected by the celebrity's skills but by their popularity and the public image that they obtain. Moreover, the idol's personality matters as it will point out how difficult/easy it will be to work with the certain celebrity. Lastly, them caring about rumours or possible truths that are yet to be public also makes a lot of sense, negative rumours are bound to negatively affect the celebrity's image and subsequently affect the campaign.

How did you find x files of Rain, Lee Hyori, Kim Taehee and others? Ive tried to google x files but there were only articles about this scandal. Im very curious how the people in the industry described them. Kim Taehees profile surprised me....
I also tried to look more into this since Im a long time kpop fan and this sounds like it was a HUGE deal but I had never heard of it and can barely find any information about it in general online which is honestly kinda weird let alone what was in the document.
