This definitely work I got 2018 Honda Accord sport 1.5 liter program at Ray Price Honda dealership and its 100% working it cost me $85 for the key and $99 to program thanks a lot guys
Honda man I just program a remote for my honda accord sport, the remote start works perfectly thank you! I also found out that you can also rolled down your car windows for the summer days it's so cool.

According to the branded non-slip mat guide @9:25 that one goes in the compartment underneath the econ button. The other one goes to another cup holder compartment(depending on the model, maybe the LX)🤔
I'm on the same mileage path as him. When I got my 2019 2 weeks ago it was 4 miles on it. I'm already at 820 lmao. I find reason to pull out in my accord.
Can you install keyless entry on your 1.5 sport Accord since you were able to program a remote start remote I feel that the body control module should also support the keyless entry feature you were just have to install the handle
Hey guys thanks for making this video I'm finally getting it done tomorrow after arguing with multiple dealerships that it can't be done LOL but I have to say if you're really willing to spend a little bit of money around 800 to be precise look into comma ai improves your cars auto piloting by 100% basically puts on the level of Tesla autopilot for around 800 hundred bucks I have in my 18 Accord sport and it's nothing short of amazing with constant updates for example it can auto steer down to 3 miles an hour unlike stock it cuts out at 40 I can do auto lane changing in the best feature is the driver monitoring which is long as you're looking forward you never have to touch the steering wheel kind of like in super cruise on Cadillac in the most recent update it actually looks at the speed sign in automatically adjust the car speed to the signs so not only do you know I have to touch the steering wheel you don't even have to even adjust the speed awesome product it extremely simple to install

I just came from doing an oil change at Honda, and I brought up the key fob issue and they gave me the run around. They looked at me like I had 10 heads, and I got the feeling that they dont want to do it or bother with it. Told them that I own thee 1.5t sport and he said he was going to ask someone, but never did. He came back an hour later and told me that my oil change is done. Never mentioned anything about the key fob. I had to ask again and was giving a run around answer like they dont believe me even with the video done at Honda by a 10yr experience mechanic.
Jaime Olmeda I am a salesman at a honda dealership and I just got the new fob and it works. Just tell them you want the EX fob programmed on your car. They can do it

I'm from Massachusetts and I had to call 5 dealers to finally book one that would do this the funny part is all of them knew about it they said they seen the video online in the Honda was against it and is already sending out memos 2 dealerships to not do it because that's all they can do. so everybody be prepared because Honda already knows about this problem for them as there's nothing they can do about it besides stop dealerships from doing it so let's get this done before Honda puts the clampdown on dealerships one thing I did notice though out of the dealerships I called the one that made me the appointment was the old one reasonably what the price dealers are already starting to up the price on the key fobs and service to program it one dealer even said they're going to charge up to $300 just to program a key fob which is ridiculous
NEW CHALLENGE... (Great job on remote start) Now - the feature I miss the most on my 18 accord sport is keyless entry. Can you add THAT as easily as adding handles?
That will never work on a LX or sport the reason the remote start works is it was a standard feature across the whole 18 19 Honda Accord line they just never gave the key fob that worked with it on the LX source for the smart key feature is actually a hardware they put in on the ex and touring the hardware is not in your LX or sport model so that will never work with a simple hack
I have 2.0t sport manual with aftermarket remote start . You do have to wire a clutch bypass. My guess is that this hack wouldn't work on it because I don't see how you would be able to bypass the clutch without an add on unit and I wonder if the ecu for the manual would even accept the command to start ( on position) for the bypass to even matter. Would be real curious if anyone tries it. Would be happy to share my experience with the aftermarket unit I installed in mine.

I'm from Boston as well and the only dealership that's going to do that in this area is boch Honda in Norwood Mass actually have an appointment there tomorrow to get it done I literally spent all day today calling different dealerships from cape cod to North Dartmouth 2 Plymouth Mass every dealership is he there denying doing it or wants upwards of $300 to program which is ridiculous boch Honda only once about a hundred and ten bucks for the key fob in about 65 to $70 to program it
No Honda did put it they put remote start in every single 2018 Accord the only difference being they just didn't give you the correct key fob to activate it which is complete bullshit

I just got a 2018 Accord Touring 1.5 and I live in Minnesota, so I understand cold, we should have been given heated steering wheels and windshield wipers too, at least in the northern states. Also why only give the Canadians power outlets in the rear?

Honda didn’t put remote start on the sport because it’s a lower trim. Plain and simple. Change my mind.
