I was there, 21:26. The LA Forum, turned 18 years old 6-22-77. Unfortunately, I was really rather wasted and can only recall a few moments of that incredible afternoon/evening. No Quarter was one of the few numbers I can still remember. Even though I have experienced many awesome times being "high" in my youth, this night was a complete fail on my part.🙄 But it was 1977, I was young and believed I would remain so through out my existence. Now, 64 and there's so much more. I'm in love with my wife of 40 years, have 2 incredible daughters and two precious grand daughters. That, I did not miss out on.🥰
At 68 years young today, Its still m’y Numbers ONE Band ever, période. I danced, cried, cheared and toked over them since i was 14 years old . Today i miss them dearly, LED ZEPPLIN will follow me towards THE STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN. Im greatful dear LORD for giving me the opportunity to have expérienced this wonderfull Band on my passage to this ever so beautiful planet. PEACE AND LOVE!
Just turned 60, but I FEEL 40, no lie! I think that many generations unborn, far into the future, will forget about Led Zeppelin. But, many of those gens will rediscover them and their sound, and be amazed by it, and expose Zep to THEIR children. IOWs, I believe that Zep will be continually rediscovered for hundreds, if not thousands, of years to come.
I'm 60, and now I've seen the ultimate value of UA-cam . I rely on it to fix my car, or house, or Computer, or make a really fabulous meal. Now, I can go back to my teenage years, like a Time Machine, when I watch this Video. Now, I gotta find by old Chevy Nova.....
Fuckin' A-right Riley! UA-cam is probably the best thing to ever come out of the internet! Pray to God that Mark Fuckerberg or Elon Musk never buy it out! (Since Google DID buy it, I doubt the above scenario will ever happen.) If either of those two A-holes ever do, well, we'll just start our own vid-sharing site and call it, uh, "MyTube" or something...
I'm 68 years old and l have been listening to Led Zeppelin for 50 years. I have every studio album and every live album plus the 6 cd box sets. I saw them live 2 times in the seventies. They were excellent.
What makes Led Zep great is that all 4 members are musical geniuses. There is no weak link in the band. You can literally make a case for each being in the top 5 for the best in the type of instrument or role they play in the band!
I'd add that first and foremost what made Zep great was JP's vision & production I still think Zep 1 is their best. "I Can't Quit You Baby" is a perfect example of classic blues meets modernism with timeless results
No doubt of that. John Paul Jones could play everything with strings, piano, the Hammond B3, etc. One of The Yardbirds lineups had Jimmy Page on bass (Jeff Beck on guitars). Amazing talent at the right time in the right place.
Maybe the best studio band, but not live. Too many guitar layers missing. Rush was a better live band. Their 1st album was very Zeppelinesque. The Who and Floyd did it right: Pete’s brother on back up. Gilmore always had one or two backups on stage. John PJ is great but no Ox, Lee or Squire.
I know people in their 30s and 40s who love Guns and Roses, but hate Led Zeppelin! Can you effing believe that!? I'm like, 'uh... do you not realize that Axl Rose and G&R's were Led Zeppelin WANNABEES? For Christ's sake!'
Agreed. But Led Zep is in a class by themselves. In terms of talent and diversity I doubt any one band can ever match them. But there are bands that can rival them. The stones, & AC/DC in longevity and hard rock come pretty close. I've been fortunate enough to see all three.
As a kid growing up in Nashville i was raised listening to R&B as well a Blues which i fell in love with. I also watched the popular tv show He Haw with my granny so I was also exposed to country music. As a teen in middle school and Jr High I saw school mates with rock n roll tshirts that read Led Zeppelin, Kiss, AC/DC, the police, Metallica but never really understood who they were. As time went on I listened to rock n roll and at the time I'd say it's loud music but I've been a fan of the drums as a kid so it sounded cool. Skipped to years later in my older adult life I experienced Led Zeppelin personally and my first song I immediately got hooked on was "stairway to heaven" and OMG it was like a drug. Then also songs like "whole Lotta love", "Imigrant song", "Black Dog" and many others i continued to listen then i began to love song after song after song. Goodness Gracious how could individuals be so gifted and amazingly awesome on a extreme level of greatness. Now I look at live performances from back then and I'm like goodness it's really scary how famous and spectacular Zeppelin were. I wonder if all the fame and glory scared them at all. 2023 Led Zeppelin is the best rock band ever. Goosebumps.
i was 15 yrs old in 1984 when i was first turned on to LZ. my friend's older sister had all the albums and played them all nite at a party she was having with her older friends. the next day she said i could borrow the song remains the same live album...a month later i knew every word to every song. i played those records so much i ended up buying her a new copy because i literally wore them out...lol. that was it for me, Lep Zep was and is my favorite band of all-time. the music never gets old and stands up to any era of music...its timeless. Long live the mighty Led Zeppelin...
@ledbus36 Now this is the best story of a love affair w LZ I've heard so far! Maybe the fact that, the Song Remains the Same was also my fav! Rock on!!
So back in the 70's when Zeppelin would come to L.A , they would play at the Forum for 4 or 5 nights and then go to the Long Beach Arena and play another 4 or 5 night and l was fortunate to have been able to go to every one of their shows and that was everytime Zeppelin came to L.A, l couldn't get enough of them. Thank you sooo much for taking me back in time. For the last 5 hours I felt like a teenager again, THANKS!! from the biggest "Led Head" around 🤟😝🥰
I hope when I'm dead, and in hundreds of years people (with excellent taste in music) are listening to this. Just like Chopin, Mozart etc. I'm Australian and I'm Gen Y (1983) I refuse to be called a millennial. My gen grew up with record players and speakers were at least a meter tall, cassette players which after time were able to REVERSE without turning the tape over, then compact disks and Walkmans came into production. Internet came in with the infamous dial up tone and your butt clenched with anticipation when you finally got online. We crossed over to mp3's (Napster) into the first generation of iPods then the next gen of iPods. So listening to this is literally what it feels like to listen to you Dad play this one a Sunday afternoon on full Vinyl on his Speakers from Brasha's. I love my generation. I love my parents generation. If I ever have kids i'll teach them everything and the 80's and 90's generation. That's a legacy I want to pass on
I've seen Zeppelin twice, almost 3 times, 3rd time canceled because of Plant's son. I've never seen them do this many songs before. Awesome! I also saw the Plant/Page tour with the exotic musicians, twice. I got 2 tickets when they went on sale, and they announced on the radio that they added another show because the first show sold out so fast, so I went back the next day and got 2 more !!! LED ZEPPELIN IS ABSOLUTELY LEGENDARY. And 3 out of the 4 original members are still with us, Amen to that !!! 🙏📿"Sing out Hare Hare, dance the hoochie koo" Hare Krishna🕉
People need to learn to replace "Best" with "Favorite" and then we can get back to arguing about whatever rock topics your heart desires! Hard to argue with LZs resume, 300 million albums and a following that is still strong almost 55 yrs after it's founding! Legendary and definitely in the best of the best conversation for sure!
Good you were able to see them. We had tickets to see them in Pittsburgh toward the end of the 1977 tour. But the show was canceled after Plant's son sadly died during the tour.
I just cant believe the criticism of this band from both music critics and music fans. They find everything imaginable to find fault with this band. When they started "Oh They are over hyped" their not that good . They are stealing all the old blues music and calling it there own . This was throughout their Career people. They had to endure a lot of criticism. I think it bothered Jimmy Page the most because this was his idea to form this band he hand selected all these members to create his vision of a versatile style of Rock Music not limited by any style but encompassing all styles of music to create something solid and lasting that would stand the test of time. And the amazing thing about how great and perfect and versatile all these records were. This Band was partying their asses off while touring and then finding time to write lyrics and record music in studios when they had a chance. Some of these songs were recorded in different studios and different countries yet it all sounds cohesive and flowing. These guys were incredible and I Personally Think that they truly are The best representation of hard rock music from the past.
Man!! Just stumbled across this gem out in a campground in Michigan....held "Sunday Services" with this cranked up as loud as we could listenin to Zeppelin "preach" for FIVE HOURS long smoking our first legal marijuana in our lives!! It just doesn't get better!! Thank u so much for this!!😎✌️😁😁
I was 7 years old the day my older brother brought home the double album Physical Graffiti, November 24th, 1975, the day was released. He brought me into room, plugged in the double adaptor for the headphones, handed me a set of headphones and said "What you're about to hear will be the soundtrack your life from today till the day you die.". H.R., you were right. Im 57 years old and i have listened to Led Zeppelin at least once, EVERY DAY since that day. Im still ALIVE because of Led Zeppelin. God bless PAGE, PLANT, JONES AND BONHAM. BEST... BAND... EVER.
As someone who was too young to see Led Zeppelin in person. this compilation is the closest some of us will ever get. I enjoy reading about the experiences of people lucky enough to attend a Led Zeppelin concert. To Boots and to all those that worked on this project, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Look up the movie “the song remains the same”, they knew how good they were and wanted to make a timeless piece that captured the essence of how they wanted to be portrayed
Glad you can enjoy it. It's also a treat for those of us were there but never got a chance to see them. (I was 13 and had gotten permission and was ready to buy tickets for the world tour when Bonham died.) For years the film "The Song Remains The Same", was our only source to see them, maybe if it was showing in some arthouse theater at midnight... if you even heard it was playing. I'm very grateful for YT. I hereby declare you an 'Official Zep-Head'. ✌
@Tyrell Corp I remember those Midnight Movies of The Song Remains The Same!! Good Times!! We went EVERY time it was playing!! Yep... The good ol' days!!
Simply no one can close to this band. The older I get the more I am blown away by these Giants of Rock and Roll. Many, many great bands and really a lot of amazing music around the world, but simply no one can come close. Them and then 10 spaces empty to another band... Thank you for the upload.
@Stephen Small hey Stephen, for some reason I cant see what the gentleman wrote 😃 help me please i think his comment got deleted of whatever. Happy new year and have a ton of great music with u in 2023 🤘🏻
I'm a huge, fanatical, Led Zeppelin fan, have been since I first heard them when I was 11 years old, 49 years ago. But Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers are right up there, as well as Jimi Hendrix's original band. In this video portfolio on my channel, entitled, "The Visual Mind", there's a frame with a montage I did of Jimmy Page. Please check it out. The whole vid is pretty cool, and about 14 minutes or so. ua-cam.com/video/CnX7yFfrGuo/v-deo.html
And your comment is what stale comments look like, and I GUARANTEE you that many people said the same thing about LZ back then that you did about tOdaY’s MuSiC
Thank you so much. 😊😊
Amen I agree with you,Led Zeppelin was always one of my favorites Classic rock groups and I'm 53 and my brother is 55 and we still jam out too this group
Of all the great and greatest league guitar players of all time Jimmy Page absolutely strangled the neck of that guitar in my time of dying that was one of the best ever❤
ZEPPELIN is AWESOME LEGENDARY PAST PRESENT FUTURE!!! 4EVER and a DAY!!! THANKS FOR SHARING THIS VIDEO!!! IT TRULY IS THE BEST VIDEO OF ZEPPELIN IN CONCERT 😊 THANKS I NEEDED THAT!!!
@@mikeloper100 Yes. As do millions of others, including many, many world-class musicians and composers. Seriously, though: why are you so hostile? If you don’t like Led Zeppelin, fine. No need to be obnoxious about it. LZ were recipients of a Kennedy Center Award, to name just of their numerous accolades. What awards have you received by spewing insults?
@@mikeloper100 Being a Zeppelin fan is perfectly fine; I’m one of many. You haven’t answered my question. If you’re looking for a childish insult contest, you won’t get it from me.
Oh boy what a treat thank you thank you thank you I'm 58 years old and never saw or heard this jewel before and oh man Page is on fire for" In my time of dying"
I still remember the day my friends and I listened to Led Zeps first album. We were blown away. It's one of the days that sticks with my memory. Up there with Kennedy, 9/11, ect. How could a band be so good??
The unique thing about Zeppelin for me is that they were my favourite rock band when I was 16 and still are now. The Rain song has held the top spot on my top ten for ever (the live version from the song remains the same album) Also, for as long as there has been digital music I’m unable to skip a LZ track, and I mean any track. I’m a great music lover and can honestly say that doesn’t apply to any other band or artist.
Bron yer stomp = yea caught you smiling at me thats the way it aught to be like a leaf is to a tree so fine page rock acoustic 12 string jamming!!!!!!!
1. Right at the beginning of the 80s. It seems like the 80s changed a lot of things such as MTV. 2. I'd still say The Beatles are far more relevant especially since their last song was released or recorded. And I'm not biased, as these are my top 2 bands, but Zep is my #1.
They made a small American tour with Jason Bonham. Plant introduced Jason to someone from swan song Atlantic as led Zeppelins new drummer. So Jason took him serious and bought a home and a couple of expensive cars. Then they never played America again and only a few concerts in Europe. Sadly all good things must end. Zeppelin still are so far ahead of now
What an amazing player John Paul Jones is. He and Jimmy Page are consummate musicians as well as producers composers arrangers and writers. For a few minutes I was in New Orleans on Bourbon Street then I was taken back to Jimmy Page heaven rock and roll hard and then I’m in an orchestra listening to the music 🎶 of the band of the century. ❤love you so much for giving me so much pleasure in my life😎
@@ganymeade5151at least so many are doing reactions videos, & the majority have turned into Led Heads. My 3 sons are adults now, but I raised them on Zeppelin, ages 44-34 & 25 the 35 yo girlfriend is a Led Head.
Classic Rock never gets Classic !! Led Zeppelin will stay forever in our hearts as long as we stay on this planet Earth. And when we leave ....we will take them with us for listening in new worlds.
My first live experience of Zeppelin was at the theater seeing Song Remains the Same. Myself was a guitarist in his infancy and watching Page was an experience I'll never forget I was like this guy knows everything there is to know on the neck of that guitar what a brilliant player. I got schooled I wore Song Remains the Same out I had the album and later the video. My next live experience with Zeppelin was in Detroit but it was labeled as Paige and Plant after Bonham passing. And when they played Stairway to Heaven and it came time for Jimmy's guitar solo the crowd just exploded. Even missing the other half of the band the power that came off that stage the presence that came off that stage was nothing but greatness. I can't even begin to imagine how amazing it was in their Heyday with the whole band. Sadly there will never be another my younger brother and I are always discussing how lucky we were to be born through the sixties up to the '80s cuz the music was Supreme. Back in the day of radio with radio personalities it was hardly a song that played on the radio that you disliked.
This is amazing. And my God, John Henry Bonham in 1977 what a terror on the drums. Awesome to hear some good audience recordings, really gives you the vibes and the feels hearing the audience reaction.
Probably saw more than a hundred concerts through my years on this earth but I can honestly say the most memorable were the five times in the presence of the LED Zeppelin experience........ HANDS DOWN
You are a lucky man with incredibly good taste in music. I had tickets to see Zep in Pittsburgh in 1977. Show was canceled after Plant's son sadly died during the tour. Was going to see them in Cincinnati in 1980 but unfortunately Bonham died before tour began. Have seen every incarnation of Page and/or Plant touring since then multiple times. As well as JASON Bonham multiple times. But still feel a hole in my soul not having seen Zep live.
@@Zoetropeification Never got to see LZ, but l will never forget what l was doing the day Bonzo. It's a moment in time, like when people older than myself talking about what they were doing when hearing of JFK being shot. I was not yet two years old then. Did get to see The Firm in '86 and Plant in '90 for his Manic Nirvana Tour. He sang five Zeppelin songs, the crowd went wild!
@@carywest9256 I never got to see Zeppelin myself, though fortunately I did see Page/Plant in 95' and 98'. Amazing shows too!! Like you, I'll never forget what I was doing when I heard that Bonzo had passed away. I had my car stereo on after washing it. When I heard the news I ran into our house crying.....it upset my mother because she thought something had happened to someone in my family. I told her what I'd heard and she just looked at me and said, "who is that?"
Btw, the digital remastering thing is quite amazing! It looks like it was filmed yesterday! And in it, they show quick glimpses of what the ORIGINAL film footage looked like, and then switch back to the digitally remastered, but same footage. You MUST check it out if you're a Led Zeppelin fan.
As a longtime Zeppelin fan, I'm embarrassed to admit I hadn't heard this version of Dazed and Confused before. The quiet section that starts at around 3 hours, 31 minutes really shows Jimmy Page's range. When you think of him playing live, you think of the shredding, improvisational solos, but he could play slow and subtle and still hit notes and chords that stop you in your tracks.
I believe it’s from May of ‘75. Five shows at Royal Albert Hall. The dvd compilation of those shows is available. Incredible shows!! Almost 4 hour shows .
. I was a fan as a young teen in the early and mid 1970s.Later, in the period between 1978 and 1985 I was just one of a great many guitar players who played many of these songs in a bar band(s). What we played were as faithful recreations of the studio versions as we could at the time. We didn't change anything. The goal was always to get it as close as possible to the records. That's not what Led Zep was doing at it's own live shows though. This video does a GREAT JOB of showing just how much the songs morphed into something very different than the studio versions as these guys played 'em night after night and tour after tour across the world. When Jimmy Page explains that they couldn't have expected a replacement drummer to be able to "sit in" you can clearly hear why as you listen to these live recordings. 5-10 years on from when the songs were originally recorded. In so many cases the live versions have only passing resemblance to the studio versions. In some cases retaining only enough of the original recording to allow the audience to know what song they were hearing at the time. For me the end of Led Zep came in two big disappointments. First when I heard Jon Bonham was gone and then again when Jimmy Page said, "it's over" and I came to realize he actually meant it.
I’m not a believer….but I do believe that gods once walked upon this earth🙏🏽💙. I wrote the above a few seconds into this video. 25 minutes later, I’m mesmerized. This is the best effen concert video I’ve ever seen. I’ve loved Zeppelin since the 70’s, still love them, and I’m so happy I found this masterpiece. Thanks for sharing🙏🏽
When talking about the best ever of anything, people always say "one of the best". When talking about Zeppelin, you don't need to say "one of the". You just say Led Zeppelin is the best band ever period.
@@MrQQZ That's the band of hookers with dysentery right? A total "shit show". And I thought "L7" was bad pulling used tampons out to throw at the audience.
Got the privilege of seeing this band twice live, TX International Pop Festival,1970, & Memorial Aud downtown bout 72. Bonham both times. Carry to my grave. 😎
Fun fact: the version choosen for Sick Again was played with the Les Paul that night, because jimmy broke a string at the double neck, so technically, the 1975 footage is more accurate than the footage of seattle from the same year of the choosen performance
I just LOVE a good Zep video! The Song DOES Remain The Same. AND I LOVE IT - STILL !!! HOW incredible is THAT!!! Watching Jimmy have such a good time playing really takes me back!! It's fun to watch him having fun!! And of course, I can never get enough footage of Plant!!! Jonsey & Bonham too! They really were SOOO GOOD live!!! I was lucky enough to see them in '79, and even though their music was already the backdrop of my youth, that concert experience somehow embedded those 4 guys even deeper into my young self. I knew it was a big deal when it was happening then, just 20 feet in front of me! I could absolutely FEEL their magnetic presence! What I didn't realize was how watching a video like this, 44 years later, would bring back those same exact feelings! Rock Gods INDEED!! I bow to thee daily! Watching this on You Tube - What a delicious time to be alive!!! Thank You to the person who put this together!!! This video could have EASILY been titled: Best Zepplin Intro EVER!! Thank You Jack Black for those now infamous words which so perfectly describe them! I couldn't agree more!!!!!!!!!!!
This is awesome film footage of Zep .. those of us who were there in the 60's and 70's alive to relive those memories thru this upload really appreciate your hard work to give back for history .. the kids in 2022 can't even imagine what real bands are like live in concert .. maybe with these great works they will grow to understand some of these moments in time that will never be equaled in their future!
I'm REALLY enjoying this concert!! I've often wondered which concert I would go see if I could go back in time! I did see them in 79' at Knebworth, I was REALLY lucky!! And truly, I don't think it actually matters which concert you see them in, this band has a way of sharing their magic! Their energy in person is palpable! But, I mean, if I DID have a time machine... What better way to use it than to go to the Zep concerts thru the years! ha!! Any other destination would just be a side-bar on my way to the concerts! I suppose I would make a quick stop buy some stock in the early days of Microsoft, or Google, or even Tesla! Other than that, I'd be making sure to be in the 1st 5 rows of these concerts! Camera in hand!! Yep, that would be me!!! This great video is filling that fantasy!! Thank You for all the hard work of putting it together! ❤

All these years since the passing of John Bonham, and I've never found anyone to compare to his abilities, I still miss him, but I think some people aren't designed to grow old and I believe John Bonham may have been one of those people
There is truth to what you're saying. Some people's stories don't take long to tell, and my what mighty stories they have to tell. Others take many years to blossom.
Having seen them 12 shows at the LA forum. By the way they played 16 shoes at the forum and then long beach arena. I was there for the shows that are on How the west was won. I'm yell ng you the night before back then you would be so excited that you were seeing your idols no sleep. I worked at the forum. Always had amazing seats. Blasting sound system. Bonham and plant page Jones. So amazing there is nothing that will come back like them ever lol
Forget about all of that B.C. and A.D. crap. There is only ONE era of importance : BLZ and ALZ. So glad to be born in '71. Not old enough to really appreciate them in their prime, of course. But thank goodness for older cousins who made damned sure to nurture me on a diet of Zeppelin, Sabbath, Floyd, and Rush. Then I discovered Iron Maiden on my own. So there.....anyway....LED ZEPPELIN. And thank you so much for this outstanding compilation.
Good one man! haha! Next time I write a historical expose on say, the Roman Empire at its height, I'll be sure to say, "150 BLZ, when Rome was..." Love it Slowneutron! :)
I saw them 3 times in the 70s, I had seen many of the great ones back then, Pink Floyd, Traffic, Johnny Winter, Tull, Yes, ELP and many others. I was never star struck over celebs, sports stars, or bands, but Zeppelin was different, tickets were so hard to get, then, once there, the anticipation of the stage lighting up and them being on it and that first drum beat was almost overwhelming, they were Gods and there were no other band that compared. Thanks for putting this up, it brings back so many good memories
This had to be mixed together to make it look like a concert that lasted over 5 hours. I'm sure this never happened but for the quality of the love music I'm thoroughly impressed. Robert Plant was the consummate front man and Jimmy Page s guitar is simply from another dimension. His playing I would say is legendary. John Bonham and Jones commanded the very best rhythm section in rock n roll without a doubt. Just keep the great songs coming
They might not have played the entire 5 hours, but they did two 5 hour shows back in 1971, The UK winter tour. The two 5 hour shows were at Wembley Empire Pool, Wembley Park, they were dubbed the electric magic shows and incorporated not only support acts, stone the crows was one of them, but circus acts as well, trapeze, plate spinners, jugglers etc.
I might be the only one who was hooked and recognized their greatness from the track Gallows Pole. I was about 14 years old and stunned. I've enjoyed them for the past 46 years

Agreed. But Led Zep is in a class by themselves. In terms of talent and diversity I doubt any one band can ever match them. But there are bands that can rival them. The stones, & AC/DC in longevity and hard rock come pretty close. I've been fortunate enough to see all three.
Это спорный вопрос
What Led Zeppelin did between 69 and 79 can never be duplicated again. Their music will forever be timeless.
You're sooooo right. Every album, not a dud on any of them. Ok, maybe The Runge, but oh well.
Crunge, fucking phone
Agreed. No question about it.
It was a great time to be a teen!
@@dougboyd536 if I was just a little older. I was 6 when Bonzo died, but when I was about 12 or 13, I got zep II, and I was hooked.
Goosebumps.
No other band comes even close.saw zep in shepton mallet 1971 i think!! Blown away.
i was 15 yrs old in 1984 when i was first turned on to LZ. my friend's older sister had all the albums and played them all nite at a party she was having with her older friends. the next day she said i could borrow the song remains the same live album...a month later i knew every word to every song. i played those records so much i ended up buying her a new copy because i literally wore them out...lol. that was it for me, Lep Zep was and is my favorite band of all-time. the music never gets old and stands up to any era of music...its timeless.
Long live the mighty Led Zeppelin...

Wow that's great, I could only imagine.

Zep was one of the hardest working/touring bands ever.
There has never and there will never be such a great band as Led Zeppelin !

Best grandma ever. she present me 1st and 2nd Led Zeppelin to my 13th birthday. that was in 1970. i still got these vinyls.
Best rock band ever . Ever . I’m 64 you and can’t stop listenning
That's a legacy I want to pass on
Except for the vinyl sounding a lot better.
Как я с вами согласна. Я тоже поколение восьмидесятых и нет ничего прекраснее того времени!❤❤❤❤❤❤.
I got hooked on them in 1976. 47 years later I've never heard anything better.
The Who is probably the next best. However, anything is debatable.

And 3 out of the 4 original members are still with us,
Amen to that !!! 🙏📿"Sing out Hare Hare, dance the hoochie koo" Hare Krishna🕉
LeD ZePPeLiN are the greatest rock band ever. Better than the Stones, Beatles, etc,. Proof? All of their LP's are epic. EPIC. No duds.
Heard a comedian making a good point. His grandparents music was Bing Crosby. My grandkids thinking, “Grandpa likes Led Zeppelin” makes me happy. 🤙🤙

I was hooked the first time I heard Whole Lotta Love in 1969. Still my go to band throughout my life. Fortunate to have seen them perform in 1977.😊
Good you were able to see them. We had tickets to see them in Pittsburgh toward the end of the 1977 tour. But the show was canceled after Plant's son sadly died during the tour.
I saw them live 1979 knebworth
On this video whole lotta love was cut.

1. Right at the beginning of the 80s. It seems like the 80s changed a lot of things such as MTV.
2. I'd still say The Beatles are far more relevant especially since their last song was released or recorded. And I'm not biased, as these are my top 2 bands, but Zep is my #1.
@@combatshox I'd say LZ, PF, and The Beatles are the best bands of all time!

That movie and the original Pink Floyd movie, Live at Pompeii were killer, the only time the movie theaters were smoke filled, those were the days.
There is simply nothing better - nor more powerful - than Zep. Immortal sound.
This is amazing. And my God, John Henry Bonham in 1977 what a terror on the drums. Awesome to hear some good audience recordings, really gives you the vibes and the feels hearing the audience reaction.

Fantastic Dazed and Confused presentation. The acoustic part of the show was sublime. Many thanks lad to post that !
As a longtime Zeppelin fan, I'm embarrassed to admit I hadn't heard this version of Dazed and Confused before. The quiet section that starts at around 3 hours, 31 minutes really shows Jimmy Page's range. When you think of him playing live, you think of the shredding, improvisational solos, but he could play slow and subtle and still hit notes and chords that stop you in your tracks.

Zeppelin is the reason I started playing guitar and bass about 50 years ago. ..... so glad I did..... Zeppelin rules.

Other than that, I'd be making sure to be in the 1st 5 rows of these concerts! Camera in hand!!
Yep, that would be me!!!
This great video is filling that fantasy!!
Thank You for all the hard work of putting it together! ❤
🌹Very👌🏻well put🎧together.
🎥What a🎁gift of🎶music📜history.
I feel sad and sorry for the kids and what they listen to and see today in the music industry.
I am so grateful I was born during the time of⚡️Led Zeppelin (and so many more great bands). I passed it on to my kids or they'd never know who⚡️Led Zeppelin was.
I'm so angry schools have taken music out of the curriculum too!
💐Thanks for sharing, please never stop.

I saw them at the long Beach sports arena and in San Diego sports arena a few days apart in 1974
This had to be mixed together to make it look like a concert that lasted over 5 hours.
The two 5 hour shows were at Wembley Empire Pool, Wembley Park, they were dubbed the electric magic shows and incorporated not only support acts, stone the crows was one of them, but circus acts as well, trapeze, plate spinners, jugglers etc.
no rock and roll bands really did play for hours there's a live rendition of one Zeppelin tune that played for 27 minutes
I might be the only one who was hooked and recognized their greatness from the track Gallows Pole. I was about 14 years old and stunned. I've enjoyed them for the past 46 years
Gallows Pole is the one that hooked me too. I had never heard music like that before. LZIII Great album.
My sophomore college roommate was a big LZ fan. I wish I had gone to see them in the ‘70s. This video is truly a treasure. I can see what I missed.
Огромное спасибо за такой титанический труд и за удовольствие от просмотра!
Прослушал тяжёлые с большой какафонией выступления. И все концерты,давящие звуком. Пилорама та ещё. А реклама на них на меня не действует.
They were the BLOODY BEST!
