Don't know how I missed seeing this before now. Noam is so "in there" and (his playing of) the tricone is so evocative of her voice without interfering. Beautiful sound together.

I really like the sound of Caitlin's voice. None of the whiny breathy stuff: just right on key, easy flowing, relaxed and full of feeling.

An obvious dig at Billie Eilish which is just plain idiotic. They both have talents and comparing them is a worthless endeavor.

They have that David Rawlings and Gillian Welch vibe to them. Looking forward to their musical life to come.

Couldn't agree more! As soon as I heard him play, I though Dave Rawlings!

I've been a fan of Caitlins for years, just learning about Noam's music apart from Punch Brothers, what a discovery finding them working together. Noam's banjo work here is evocative of Dave Rawlin's guitar playing in many ways... though Dave is Dave, and there can be only one. Caitlin continues to grow as a songwriter... phenomenal creativity... a peak inside her head during the process would be to attain musical nirvana.

I hear some really nice Joni Mitchell moments. Beautiful voice.

Love the tricone! Wish you could have used the sE Gemini on Caitlin -- the mic you used is a bit sibilant on her voice

Would love to experience your music on the General Jackson with its paddle wheel background nuance.

I know it's kind of off topic but do anyone know of a good site to stream new movies online?

I actually think Noam’s playing is too busy in the beginning. I think she should do a verse a cappella then have Noam come in

You obviously didn't listen to the dialog, they themselves critique each performance as it compares to the studio version and the original intent of the songs. Your critique may have merit, but it distracts from the beauty they create, because in the end, all great art and music has flaws.

@@manitou1954 What? You're criticizing my criticism? Ok, that's fair.
