Even so this addon doesn't add as much features and a dimension as Java, at least its the first time Mojang cared about bedrock on April 1st. So I guess its a good start

I have to say like the joke but really have wished mojang would work more on custom biome and dimension capabilities for bedrock edition.
Considering add on are new edition in this year I can’t wait see n3xt year April fools add on.
the next april fools whole joke should be that its focused on bedrock instead and java only gets like a cape

Java scripts and Bedrock scripts aren't the same.That's why we didn't get dimensions.
@@Lutfor6137 It was still doable. But Mojang will always focus on JAVA first because that's what most content creators play on and showcase, thus making them the most money. It's probably the same reason they never properly updated Bedrock Edition for the newer consoles. All console editions are still represented under the old consoles.
@@daigozidashi4376its actually not possible since addons on the marketplace are very limited in what they can do. thats why you can get new dimensions and structures on the internet but not on the marketplace. the marketplace addons cannot change anything existing, only add on to it
@@daigozidashi4376 Because java is the original and main version and they don't have that much time to recode the whole thing just for bedrock, remember they're also working on 1.21. So stop whining

Yo!! Honestly low key for an April fools joke this is pretty fire! And the fact you can add it to your survival world!! 😮💨😩😩 with the potato minecart we can now really make race tracks and race or build a crazy roller coster and go faster! 😅 I got loads of ideas

No, on Java it's a snapshot, on bedrock only an add on
Potato portals to potato world are necesary on bedrock... On a new deluxe addon pack , for example.

maybe it wasn't intentional but it was shown that once again the team prefers java and there's no point in denying it

You gotta understand, bedrock was never even going to have this. They just decided to at least give them something you shouldn't be ungrateful. Adding things to Java is way easier than adding this to bedrock.
it has something to do with Limitations. Like the reason why there's no new dimension is because adding a new dimension is very time consuming
There's a ton of reason, firstly java version is the main and original version of minecraft so they gotta prioritize it, secondly java and bedrock have very different codes and they will have to recode literally everything to make it work on bedrock, lastly they wouldn't put so much effort to recode the whole thing for bedrock since it's literally an april fools update. There's probably more reasons that I didn't say.

Yes you can, also if you plant potato there is a chance you get mutato after harvesting them
