That was one of the smoothest 747 landings I’ve ever seen! Well done!
Glad you enjoyed the video Peter, thank you... and the landing ;)
This is one of the nicest multi camera view 747 landings I have seen. I hope some airlines keep flying the last of this great aircraft.
It stunns me everytime i watch anything from this channel the footage they have available
Thank you Brad. I guess 29 years of filming and 280 airlines has resulted in a big library of footage. We've had a couple of quiet months now with the virus but hopefully shortly we can resume filming again.
@@justplanes Amen! To better times
Excellent landing. Did anyone else feel like you were in the cockpit helping the pilots land? That was an exciting landing. Good Job.
Glad you enjoyed it Fatimah!
@@justplanes Can you tell I was put on this earth to LOVE airplanes.
What excellent crew coordination, briefing & clear radio work with ATC.👍💟🎉
Thanks Kristen, glad you liked it
All 747 aircraft with this airline now grounded due pandemic....hope they survive...great vision as always !!
Thank you Captain and Chiefofficer for the marvelous landing in Paris Charles der Gaule. Very nice and impressive Video.
Glad you enjoyed it Julius. Just one minor item, they landed at Paris Orly Airport. Thank you
Always great footage from Just Planes. Brilliantly edited - super angles. Ever so watchable. Thanks Guys
Very kind Ron, thank you and glad you enjoyed it!
@@justplanes Always - the best from your guys.
Beautifully executed. Butter landing. This video was so engrossing; seemed much shorter in length than it actually was. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks Nathan
The iconic Boeing 747 has had a long legacy than the now grounded A380, and if it's not Boeing I'm not going.
Pilotview was fantastic. It seems we are looking from the space.
Thanks Ashraf!
Amazing footage! F-HSEA was an ex United Airlines 747-400 reg N188UA, sold to Corsair in 2005. It was just retired in June 2020, and will soon be unfortunately scrapped. I noticed that all of the displays were still the original CRT except the EICAS and captain's PFD. Neat!
Too bad the virus forced them to retired these birds earlier than planned. Nothing against the Airbus A330 but I'd pick a Boeing 747 over an A330 any day.
Amazing. Great video and incredibly talented pilots.
That looked like a really smooth landing.
What awesome landings you guys make, wow!...thanks for sharing..
Thanks Bill. Glad you enjoyed it!

@Just Planes I love 747s - - flying DTW to LAX on a 747 in 1975 (before the days of cockpit lockdown), my 4 YO nephew got to go in to meet the captain. He was given plastic "kiddie wings". I'm so jealous !!! 😂
That was an amazingly smooth landing! Well done FO👍🏻
I really love the 747, so sad to see that CORSAIR has send them to an early retirement.
Dios que maravilla de landing! Love 😍
Beautiful landing
JP.....Hey there! Enjoyed every second of it!
Yes...on the Airport next to "Transavia"!

@@justplanes Morning!......Thank You!.......Betsy.
Superb video JP
And in your city this time. Thanks very much PPS!
ALLAH AKBAR !!! FANTASTIC !!!
For aviation geeks, Corsair has this quite uncommon option on their 747s (mostly former United Airlines I think), where the magenta cross of the Flight Director is not displayed on the PFD of the pilot flying only. This is due to the autopilot chosen. Here the right autopilot is On (because the first officer is pilot flying), so the magenta cross is not shown on his PFD (however the FD is on), while it is displayed on the captain’s PFD. You can clearly see that at 9min43sec. Once the autopilot is disconnected, the magenta cross is back on (see at 12min30) and the FO calls “FD”.
I’ve jumpseated Corsair 747 10 years ago, and the pilot told me it was an option chosen by United to ease reading on the PFD. I thought some of you may be interested about this detail
That was very interesting Thomas, thanks very much for posting this!
Corsair has been good to us over the past 20 years allowing us to film their more rare versions of the 747 such as the 747SP and 747-300. Too bad the 747s are gone now :(
I took this b747 of Corsair, from Paris to Martinique in the West Indies many times
Very cool :)
Loved it. Can not wait.
Thank you
Amazing! And i didn't know to a 747 can park next to 737
Thanks and happy you enjoyed the video!
Excellent!
Thank you Roberto
Very well professional pilots......cool

Thanks very much!
Can’t wait for it
Hope it was worth the wait :)
Thank you
You are very welcome Damian, thanks for watching!
After 27 years, it has arrived at its final destination of rest...Kemble.
What a disappointing end for such a classy lady
The copilot should be getting his fourth bar for capt, with his professionalism and greaser landings.
Nice Breitling Navitimer there FO.
Why is there no indicator on the instrument panel on this model of plane that shows when the landing gear has successfully lowered and locked? On other planes I see there is a cluster of panel lights that go from red to green when the gear is lowered and locked.
Love it
Thanks very much!

When did the airport run out of corona?
Run out of beer?

Thank you!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🇧🇷
Thank you Samuka!
Seems as though the runway and taxiways to the gate were not illuminated very well. Of course I am looking at video and not real conditions.
Ahhh LIDO charts….. how i miss them (H8 Jepps 🤮)
Salut du Belarus.
Hello from Boston
Boeing essaie de redorer son image, à tout prix...
🥺🥺❤
Thank you
I don't understand, why Pilots nowadays don't prefer manual flying. They turn off the autopilot just when they are about to approach the runway even when visual approach is possible.
I would say after a 12 hour flight which means being on the road for 15-18 hours since they left their hotel they're likely tired and letting the plane do most of the work allows them to focus on the important things. Some do disconnect earlier but for the most part they will indeed keep the autopilot engaged. I guess when you've been doing this for 10-20-30 years....
@@justplanes Yes, makes sense. All that Jet lag as well. Don't you get tired?
Wich airline is It ?
Corsair of France. You can find the complete details in the description.
Hesa???
Underducked approach. Look at the threshold crossing height. And the thrust change was a lot.!! Just coz the skipper called for “speed” u can’t push pull with THR
