your comment and kindness and love made me tear up my friend. thank you so much for your amazing words of love and support. I can't thank you enough for understanding my heart and my purpose behind these videos. thank you for seeing me. thank you for allowing me to share my love for my mom and her love for me and our family. If you're exploiting your mom for views , you aren't doing it well. Don't listen to those people. If you wanted views, you wouldn't have deleted your UA-cam in 2011. If you wanted views, you would follow the newest comedy trends. You wouldn't be showing people depressing, real videos. You post it because its cathartic and helpful for yourself. I know I watch you because I understand you.We went through the same thing with my Grandmother. It sucks and it's real. Sometimes a different perspective from someone else helps us deal with our own reality. That is why you get views.
Frank, my dad had dementia and I accompanied him together with my mom until the end. I discovered your channel some days ago, I am so touched by your videos. I have been crying sometimes, viewing your videos, because it remined me of my dad, but it was a good thing. Your videos are so real, loving and show so much respect and love for your mom and your family, I respect you a lot for it. I think you do a good thing, because this disease is a taboo, lots of people are or will have to face a similar situation. It is the "long goodbye". It hurts, it is hard to live through it, nevertheless I would not want to miss my time with my dad, when he was sick and slowly slipping from life into death. At least I had the chance to give back, had the chance to even do things before the end and had the chance to receive his love and gratitude. People who loose their loved ones suddenly do not get this chance. So, all in all, it was a very important life lesson this experience I had and I think if viewers are willing, they can comprehend a fraction of this process, if they see your videos. Much love to you and your family and thank you for sharing your life. 🙏🏼💕💓🙂
My mom was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's disease almost three years ago. Currently, I am sixteen years old and have become my moms main caretaker. Some days when I think about the situation it just feels so absurd, I can't really get a grip on my feelings. It's really hard to do this every day, practically and emotionally, no matter how much I love her. It's so strange to see my mother change in this way, the pain that comes with it and the conflicts that surround it. I barely remember who she was before, and sometimes I am mad at her for being sick, before the guilt comes. My little sister never talks about her feelings, but once when we were studying I (accidentally) found a written text in her notebook stating that she wished she had another mom. Honestly, this guy's videos here are probably the most genuine videos about dementia I've stumbled upon. It's kind of hard to find actually helpful information/material for my personal situation, but these videos have been a huge comfort and help for me. I often hear people say "I'm sorry, it must be hard", when they hear about my situation, but when I saw these videos I actually felt understood for the first time. They have been great help. I throughly believe he loves his mom more than anything.
hey my friend I'm so so sorry you are going through this at such young age. things are so hard as it is now and I'm well into the age of being fully self sufficient. I cannot even begin to imagine what it is like for you at 16. if you ever need to talk at all please don't hesitate to reach out to me. easiest way is ig dm, same username as this one. sending you and your family so so much love my friend.
I’m so sorry for what you are going through at such a young age. I can’t say I understand what you’re going through, because I have never been in your shoes, but as someone who has a critical progressive and degenerate disease that requires my mother to be my 24/7 full time caregiver, I can tell you that from the perspective of someone who needs a caregiver for nearly all aspects of my daily life, even if your mom isn’t able to express it to you, I promise you that she appreciates all you do for her more than you could ever know. I’m of the belief that in most situations, it’s so much harder on the family member who is the full time caregiver than it is for the one who is sick. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not easy to live with a debilitating progressive disease that takes nearly everything away from you, but I look at my tired but loving mother’s eyes everyday and it honestly breaks my heart to see what she has to go through physically, mentally and emotionally in order to not only care for me but also deal with the devastation of having to watch her loved one get sicker and sicker. Just the sheer thought of my mother being in my position and the roles reversing is something that is hard to think about and makes me emotional. Being a caregiver for a loved one is one of the hardest things a person can face in my opinion. With the fact that you are only 16 and having to be in this position, I just wish I could reach through the screen and hug you. You’re mom is incredibly blessed to have you. You seem like a remarkable person. I wish there were words to say to make things better for you, but I know that’s not really possible. Please remember to be kind to yourself, and to take care of yourself. I know that’s easier said than done, but it’s so incredibly important. My prayers are with you, your mom and your family. May God bless you with the strength, comfort, support, grace and peace to see you through each day. 💕🌻
No, you are not exploiting your mother. I've been there. You are enlightening many, about dementia and your journey with your mother. Continue and Be blessed.
I just started binge watching Frank. I KNOW the kind of person he is, I'm a 39 yr old mother of 3 and frank reminds me of my oldest son to a T..... with that being said, I know his heart, its real, its genuine. How dare people troll the life of someone in mere despair over there mother, the person who loved no matter what, kissed boo boos, cleaned his poop (sorry not sorry) , talked thru the awkward ages, . How dare that. Im that mom, I may be his mom one day, and for his mom I'm I'm taking up for frank, defending his honesty and morality. #backoff
WTF people are so sick. I'm new to your channel and never got the impression that you're exploiting your mom's dementia at all. To me, you're documenting a journey that millions of Americans go through with their loved ones. The way you love and care for your mother is so heartwarming to see and can bring comfort to those who do the same. Your mother is really blessed to have you care for her. I hope that she continues to do well in your care and don't forget to take care of yourself in the process as well!
@@ice1cube You're welcome❤️❤️❤️Keep up the amazing work! Before my great grandma passed away two years ago, I saw how my dad, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and older cousins fiercely advocated for her health while she in a nursing home. They would visit her often, bring her favorite food, make blankets to keep her warm, manage her Drs appointments, arrange transportation for her, and make sure the nursing home was actually taking care of her. I was only 17 at the time, but seeing that taught me so much. Your journey with your mom reminds me of all of that :) It was sad to watch her health decline, but seeing my family go all out for her with love and care until the very end made the process less painful. I hope you and your family continue to do well and take care of each other❤️❤️❤️
I miss my mother dearly and still hold onto a lot of guilt for not expressing to her how much she meant to me during her battle with cancer. I lost her in October of 2018 and still think about her daily. Thank you for your videos. Your mother is so incredibly lucky to have a son like you.
As someone who has watched you since the beginning, the thought never crossed my mind that you could be exploiting your mom’s condition. All I see is a man I looked up to going through a hard time and sharing his experiences with us. We’re here for you, and forget about the trolls.
Your videos remind me of caring for my mom who also had Alzheimer’s disease. I found out 6 months before she passed that she had stage 4 colon cancer. Love your mom. She loved you, wiped your bottom, fed you and loved you unconditionally.
It’s been discovered that Niacin has been/is very effective for preventing, and possibly even reversing alzheimers/dementia. Omega 3 fish oil is good stuff for brain, etc. health too. I take about 1-3 grams if niacin occasionally/a couple times a week, and/or 1-2 capsules of omega few times a week or so
People are always going to have something negative to say. I applaud you for showing the world how we are supposed to care for our parents as they age. This is real life. It helps those who are dealing with the same. Sending many prayers for you and your mommy.
What people say is a reflection of themselves and what they are insecure or going through. You know how you feel, you know your intentions. Just wish them on their journey to find peace within themselves to not project negativity. We love you Frank!
They cannot conceptualize the beauty in it. It's an understanding for humanity sense, some people have there humanity taken from them everyday. So they cannot relate or feel hatred towards others.
Nah... say you judged someone because they did something wrong... example like if the title was true... that's just passing judgement not reflecting anything
One of the “realest” UA-camrs I have ever came across. What you are doing is admirable, your friends and family are lucky to have you, and your mother especially. She raised a wonderful son. I wish you and your family the very best.
Your videos are actually a testimony to the dignity your mom has spent her life forging in herself and in her children. The fruit of her compassion and loyalty are coming forth with every video you post. Edit: and there's no monetized videos so I fail to see how you're exploiting anyone for views. That's just silly.
Absolutely not (answering the title) - it’s educating for people who have family members who have dementia. It also educates people how it feels and what it takes to be a caretaker. Thanks for sharing yours and your mom’s journey. She’s such a wonderful mother!
Frank, I just started watching you recently. I am dealing with my father who is suffering from dementia. I need your videos. So please don't stop. You can clearly see the love you have for mother. As long as you know your intentions thats all that matters.
Some people really need to mind their own business. On your videos all I see is unconditional love from a son to his mom. You’re a wonderful human being.
I wouldn’t care what people think. A Supra guy myself, I truly see a genuine person here. I’ve watched many of your videos. Keep going and inspiring others to do what’s right.
Short answer: No. Love you dude. I’ve done this for my mom and great grandmother. People don’t understand the actual effort that goes unnoticed for caring for others.
I’m a new subscriber. God graciously used one of your videos to remind me of how to love my mom with a sacrificial love. So to Him I give the glory, and am grateful for your courage and vulnerability.
Im new.and i can say i KNOW you love your mom!.God will bless you for ALL you do!.these videos always make me cry.yet at the same time bring joy to see the love between the two.DONT EVER STOP.
Haven't even seen the video yet, but Frank, please keep uploading in general. Every video I see, even your mom's illness videos, allows me to make a reflection or "what if" scenario about how I would react in my own life. Always a lesson to learn. Thanks Frank
Thank you for the video. I actually have sat my kids down to watch them. I hope they get the same warm heart loving I get when I watch your video. I hope my kids will love me as much as you love your mommy.
Taking care of a loved one is never easy. Their isn't a "How To" book to help you through this. I'm grateful for these videos. My mother is 72 and I am frightened when I think about what will happen when she becomes unable to take care of her self. Any time someone else has experiences to share I am thankful for them. I appreciate you and your mother for doing this. There is nothing easy about this and I thank you for sharing .
@@ice1cube I felt the love from that message, very heartfelt. 😣😩 It's hard living without Her and anyone's Mother... But your a PRIME example of just how lucky we are too have a relationship with them 😫💞💞💞 God Bless You! I miss her so much 😭 Hallelujah 🙏 Praise God
I am a new viewer and I only have love and compassion for you and your mom. No exploitation, I only see pure honest love in the challenges and sometimes the raw dark moments of life. Your videos bring me to a place of loving my own mom deeper than I thought I ever could.
I was the care giver to my grandma when she had a stroke and dementia setting it. It was difficult. I have seldom talked about it, even to my own family. And I feel like it is still affecting me to this day even after years of her passing. I am happy to see you educate people about what goes through the mind of caregivers.
I watched your video and cried. No one can understand what you are going through unless, they have to do the same thing. Please continue loving and caring for your mom. You only have one mom.
No you're not you are showing us how you are handling a situation that any caring son or daughter fears to go through. You're videos help to prepare us for this possibility as our parents age. Thank you.
You are an amazing man! When my mother got ill and suffered brain damage, my brother couldn’t even assist my mom in the potty. By all means, I totally understood this as I knew it hurt him too much and also that he was a guy. It is so very hard and I commend you on being such a strong man to do all you do for your mom because you love her and you force yourself daily to overcome this extreme difficulty to care for her in all ways including those that may be so very uncomfortable. God Bless you and your mom!❤️❤️❤️❤️💕💕💕💕
I have to tell you Frank. It takes a bit of courage for me to click on your videos with your mom. I’m fortunate enough that my mom is still very healthy and good and watching your videos just gives me fear of the future. I can’t imagine what you’re going through. The courage you have and the role model you’re showing to us has been such an amazing thing. Praying for the best outcome for you and it’s such a blessing to see your videos. It just makes me cherish all the times I have now.
Brother, I just read the title and felt like pointing out that this question only occured to you because you're a good person! I never once thought you might have motives other than sharing you journey with us. Love you and your videos.
I can’t believe they left those hurtful comments. Even if it was only a few, I’m sure they hurt a lot as we tend to focus more on the critics. But just remember what you’re doing is powerful and it’s helped heal so many people emotionally.
@@ice1cube no need to thank as I am only telling the truth! You are inspiring a lot of people! Many of my friends care for the elderly whilst studying at university due to the shortage of healthcare staff during corona time! It’s really nice to see someone really caring for their elderly. Thank you for being such a good person!
That would never have occurred to me! I appreciate you sharing your experiences, it helps us all to feel less alone. Please continue to share with us, I love you both! Thank you.
Your sharing your story of your daily routine and the hurt you feel watching your precious mother's life slip away due to dementia. Documenting is helping you and at the same time helping others who have parents with dementia. Your love for your mother is immeasurable and your doing everything you can to keep mom going and spending every precious moment you can with mom. Your a good son who adores his mother and that's is "Beautiful" 🌟💜🌟💜
I did a school projects about disease a couple of months back. I picked dementia because I just watched one of your videos. I did a bunch of research about it and I feel horrible and sorry for the things you had to do. Ever since then, dementia has been one of my worst fears for both of my parents. Thank you for your videos and thank you for expanding my knowledge on dementia. Please keep doing what you're doing and I wish you and your family good luck and health.
Thank you for making these videos for us viewers.Don't listen to them.Your not exploiting her.Your showing us important lessons and helping us.Thank god your mom made you a nice person
I enjoy your videos so much thank you for being light and shining Jesus with your life each day may The Lord continue to bless your family and your beautiful mom.
Thank you for being brave enough to share your experience and help others learn from it. My siblings and I agreed long ago our mother wouldn’t end up in a home if we could do anything about it. Seeing your videos inspires me to keep my commitment. Thank you so much.
You don't need to explain unconditional love to people who don't understand what that is. I'm so grateful for every video you share with the world because you're teaching us a lot. I'm asian and I know you were taught to do this , and you're doing perfectly right
When I watch your videos it reminds myself to be grateful for the little things. I too have an incurable disease, tho it may not be dementia, I’ve learned to remind myself to be grateful throughput my day from watching your videos. I also learned to one day become a parent like your mom. Her love , her understanding is beyond vast! In the beginning I said I don’t want kids due to how delinquent I was, I’m not tryna have another me. No. R u dumb. & me not having a dad I said eff that eff school eff everything. Disrespected everyone including my mom. But now I want to have a kid and share a love and grow my understanding like your mom. Thank you for sharing Frank. I been watching you from time, I know you know that. 💯
your videos with your mom made me realize the fragility of my own mom's health, as well as the reality that our time is limited with our parents. above all that, your videos are extremely helpful, and i thank you for that
I think it's important for the public to see what a caregiver goes through and struggles of the disease of dementia. Your videos are displayed with RESPECT towards your mother. You are projecting Your Love towards her. For those people that choose to be rude to you, they probably know nothing about compassion and choose to make this into something negative instead of looking at the positive result. Your mother may no longer be mentally there, but she definitely can feel your love which helps her through this ordeal.❣❣❣🙏
Hi Frank! Thank you for much for your videos, especially the ones you've uploaded in the past year. Its made me realize how similar our situations are and hearing your growing pains has helped me with my own. Your videos continue to inspire me to improve upon myself as a person. I hope you continue to stay well.
Thank you for sharing these beautiful, loving, compassionate videos of your mom. I am caring for my mom who was diagnosed with dementia in 2004. My mom is a blessing and a joy to me and I feel so honored to continue to care for her. Your mother is feeling your love . You are both so blessed to have each other. Happy Mother's day to your Wonderful, Beautiful Mom. You are loved Frank.
People watch you because you earn their respect. You are a genuine person, and your character shines through by showing to the world how you take good care of your mom in her most vulnerable stage of her life. You are an inspiration and a real man to look up to.
Frank, I've been watching your videos since the very beginning. You are one my role model that shaped who I am as a young adult. It's incredibly brave of you to share your life journey with the world. I know you do everything with the best of intentions!!! As someone who also had a close family member with dementia, I know how difficult all this is. I want to let you know that it warms my heart to see your love for those around you, your vulnerabilities, and your bravery to share all this with the world!!!
I'm glad I found your channel. I'm going through the same thing with my mother and watching you really encourages me and helps keep me in a positive frame of mind. Your parents, especially your mom are awesome. They gave you so much knowledge, love and understanding. What you are doing is the fruit of their love and labor for your family. Thank you.
Your videos give me courage and hope. I'm taking care of my mother who is ill and can no longer walk. It's not easy be a caregiver for a parent. It my love for her that gives me strength. ❤️
Ice1cube You are caring for your mom right now during hard times in the past your mom understood and cared for you. More respect for you and if you read this. I hope you have a fantastic day man.
Honestly intentions matter and I'm sure that these videos for people who truly understand would know that this is done with good intentions I like watching videos like this because I always learn something and it makes me reflect on my life and what I have around me I just want to thank you for taking the time and effort to make these kind of videos and May God bless you and your family
Frank, your story is one that I'm glad I stumbled upon. It's clear to see that the kindness and compassion your mother has, transferred onto you. You also learn from your mistakes and know when you are at fault rather than blaming it on others. Each day, you grow more as a person. It is honestly inspiring and I am honoured to hear your experiences from which I learn. Just as your mother would want, never let the words of others deeply affect you when you are full of good intention. Happy Sunday.
It makes me sad that anyone would speculate that you’re doing this for views. You’ve helped others who are in your shoes. To let them know that they’re not alone. God bless you.
You are showing that this MAYBE a possibility for many people with their parents in the future! And your showing the love that your mom gave thoughout your life and pouring it into her. Alot of people who show their lives on UA-cam only show the polished parts but rarely real things that can go on in someones life. Your keeping it 💯. Keep doing what your doing!
im sorry for ur mom she is a very nice person and cute and shes also beautiful ur a good son ur mom wants to thank u for sure ignore the other comments people just dont unterstand.
Keep being who you are an sharing what you want to share. It’s from your videos that I am learning to find more patience and compassion towards my own parents. I am reminded I can do better. These home videos of yours have helped me remember what huge sacrifices my parents made for us when we were younger. You guys are an awesome loving family. ❤️🙏
Absolutely not a bad thing. This is much needed form of help. Not everyone knows how to deal with a dementia patient and this sometimes destroys families because of different opinions and because of lack of experience. Thank you for doing this.
It’s love. And that’s what those folks don’t understand. It’s sad some people don’t even know what true love is. Thank you for these videos. They’re truly encouraging.
Those people are just jealous because you have good relationship with your family despite the ups and down of life. Thank you for sharing your wonderful Mom with us! An inspiration indeed!
Also hearing what you were saying in the video, when you said that you’re mom knew how you felt when you kicked the wall. She knows how you feel now, she knows her son. She knows that you wouldn’t do anything like this for clout or exploiting her. The Lord knows you’re heart and so does your mom. God bless you my friend!
Thank you for sharing these beautiful stories of your mom. These are truly blessings to your audience. My mom has Alzheimers and you are teaching us how to care for our loved ones with the heart of Christ.
Frank just know that for that 1 ignorant miss informed person speaking on things that they may not understand.. There’s those of us that do!! and appreciate you taking the time to share your personal life with us.. So on behalf of those out there Thank you!!.. You’re doing great hang in there.
You're an AMAZING son!!! It's CLEAR as day. People have NO IDEA what you're going through. Not a clue. Keep doing you. You're ❤ for your Mom is palpable. Blessings to you both. LOVE HER SINGING 🙂
True fans and people that are going through this themselves know and understand just how you do what you do!! It's nothing but the grace of God that helps you day to day in Jesus name❤️!! I've been through this with my grandma just a few years ago and we took great care of her, shes in heaven now. And now I also take care of my mother due to her having had a stroke almost a year ago now... And I'm here for her and I'm not going anywhere because I love my Mom and I can't imagine it any other way!! I won't have it any other way. My parents have been thought alot, we've lost both of my brothers in the space of 2 years and it's been very hard and then my mother had a stroke and she's no longer able to do the simple things shes always been able to do such as cook clean, do her hair, drive, read and so much more etc.. so this is part of my life now and I love it. I have my moments and we cry alot but we are strong only through God's strength and the love of Jesus Christ! 🤨Again the idiots that don't know, 😒 they'll never know your story and our story💯 I'm super glad I found your channel it is very encouraging and I pray Gods amazing strength for you and your Mommy❤️be encouraged brother!! And thank you for sharing❤️💯💯👏🙌
I'm simply thankful that you even share your mother's journey with us. The negative things that people say about you does not change how I feel about you. You're a phenomenal son and your mother knows that even with her disease. She loves you immensely and you love her the same. Your channel is truly making a positive impact, therefore, out shining the negative comments. God bless you both. May your channel continue to grow.💛
Frank my friend, I hope you can continue to put out this same content going forward knowing that you have our full support. I have never personally felt like you were trying to exploit your mother's condition for views, but rather that you are simply continuing your family's tradition of documenting things on video whilst adding your own thoughts and reflections. The growth displayed through these videos is incredible and you're an inspiration to us all. Each of these videos holds an important message that we can all learn from and that's what matters. Keep doing your own thing, even if you can't hope for everyone in this world to understand your true intentions.

True fans knows that Frank only has good intentions. 😤
You dont even have to be a “true” fan, anybody that has good morality can see it
No, you are not exploiting your mother.
#backoff
Amen!
BIG FAX
If he was exploiting his mom's illness, then there would've been ads everywhere.
thank you dewd!!!
Even if their was ads i wouldn't mind because he can use that money to help is family... I hope you try an monitize this video..
I watched because there is no ad! So much lessons to learn from your life story.
Don't let people misinterpret your love for your mom as trying to get views. You are bringing awareness on later stages of life.
Very well said. Thank you for sharing your thoughts,🙏🏻

Going to call my mom to tell her I miss her and I love her. We are not Christian, but the love for mother is universal. Thank you Frank .

@@ice1cube God bless you man, you are very Christian in deed. By the fruit you shall know them, like Jesus said 🙏😇💝
WTF people are so sick.
Bless is a person that has a son like him.
Very well said. Thank you for sharing your thoughts,🙏🏻
thank you so much for your love and support and kind words!!!
I hope you and your family continue to do well and take care of each other❤️❤️❤️
@@shy_donut8307 thank you so much!!! sending you and your whole family so much love my friend
I miss my mother dearly and still hold onto a lot of guilt for not expressing to her how much she meant to me during her battle with cancer. I lost her in October of 2018 and still think about her daily. Thank you for your videos. Your mother is so incredibly lucky to have a son like you.
im so sorry for the loss of your mother caiti, sending you so much love my friend. thank you for your love and encouragement and support!!
As someone who has watched you since the beginning, the thought never crossed my mind that you could be exploiting your mom’s condition. All I see is a man I looked up to going through a hard time and sharing his experiences with us. We’re here for you, and forget about the trolls.

thank you so much my dear friend!!!
Your videos remind me of caring for my mom who also had Alzheimer’s disease. I found out 6 months before she passed that she had stage 4 colon cancer. Love your mom. She loved you, wiped your bottom, fed you and loved you unconditionally.
thank you debra! i'm so sorry for your loss my friend. sending you so much love
I love your videos man . Always are very emotional and wonderful story telling ❤️
thank you so much my dear friend!!
Sending many prayers for you and your mommy.
thank you sarah!!!
What people say is a reflection of themselves and what they are insecure or going through. You know how you feel, you know your intentions. Just wish them on their journey to find peace within themselves to not project negativity. We love you Frank!
FACTS
They cannot conceptualize the beauty in it. It's an understanding for humanity sense, some people have there humanity taken from them everyday. So they cannot relate or feel hatred towards others.
Nah... say you judged someone because they did something wrong... example like if the title was true... that's just passing judgement not reflecting anything
@@yungmentalproblems Yeah, both you and OP have valid points. It depends on the situation and how we express our views.

One of the “realest” UA-camrs I have ever came across. What you are doing is admirable, your friends and family are lucky to have you, and your mother especially. She raised a wonderful son. I wish you and your family the very best.

This is your channel and your outlet. Don't let those haters get to you Frank. Stay strong
thank you my friend!
Your videos are actually a testimony to the dignity your mom has spent her life forging in herself and in her children. The fruit of her compassion and loyalty are coming forth with every video you post.
Edit: and there's no monetized videos so I fail to see how you're exploiting anyone for views. That's just silly.
thank you tess!!! i appreciate you my friend!! i just want people to see her love and life! thank you!!
Absolutely not (answering the title) - it’s educating for people who have family members who have dementia. It also educates people how it feels and what it takes to be a caretaker. Thanks for sharing yours and your mom’s journey. She’s such a wonderful mother!

I was the care giver to my grandma when she had a stroke and dementia setting it. It was difficult. I have seldom talked about it, even to my own family. And I feel like it is still affecting me to this day even after years of her passing. I am happy to see you educate people about what goes through the mind of caregivers.

Don't start .... Just block them ...even if it's true to them . You are still being a human being. Helping one another . You are a angel !
your videos with your mom made me realize the fragility of my own mom's health, as well as the reality that our time is limited with our parents. above all that, your videos are extremely helpful, and i thank you for that
I think it's important for the public to see what a caregiver goes through and struggles of the disease of dementia.
