Damaged or broken matrix in your case, not a flexgate if there are lines on the screen. So you will need a new screen, I'm afraid. They are very fragile these new macbook screens.
Check a reputable apple repair business in your area.
Whats new cable length please ?? Because im afraid to make it more longer than the original one !!! 😅
Should create a similar curve as the camera cable. Slightly longer.

If you dont already have the tools, most likely you dont have experience in micro soldering. It will be quite hard without microsoldering experience.
Anyhow, here are the tools:
> T5s pentalobe screwdriver
> T4 torx screwdriver
> T5 torx screwdriver
> T8 torx screwdriver
> Textile tape to isolate after resolder
> Fine chisel tip SMD soldering iron and thin low melt solder
> Macbook (your model) LCD Flex Cable
> Lots, lots of patience and practice
