The fact that as soon as you started playing the call and your dog came in to check out what was going on only reinforces the effectiveness of FoxPro products lol
just played the first pup distress call from this video outside at a low volume It's about 12:30 am in Wisconsin and seconds after I paused it, an animal vocalized back. Thank you, your detailed information with vocalization examples is helpful. I'm not killing, I'm just interested in gaining knowledge on nocturnal animal identification solely from vocalizations.
Hey brother great coyote tips ! I have been coyote hunting in Michigan for a couple years and have been close to getting a coyote but no success yet . If you could do some satellite images of your successful stands with an explanation of where you sat and what you thought was going to happen and what actually played out with the coyotes movement . Would be interested in terrain , vegetation , and wind with the setups . Also if possible to recall what sounds you used to bring them in I . Hope you are able to get to this some day but if not keep up the videos you are really good at explaining everything and I’m sure you will get a big following . Thanks
Thank you for the information. Hard to find anything on hunting coyotes south of Maryland. I lived and currently hunt southern VA/ NC line as far north as Charlottesville Va and have had luck but no dead coyotes yet.. ima try it tonight in Louisa Va wish me luck and thanks to you I'll be getting a savage high country in 7mm in the spring hahah!! Keep up the good work man. Me and my buddies really appreciate it!! Well no luck in Louisa with the high water.. but we keeping after it!!!
What’s your opinion on choosing between the Foxpro xwave and Forxpro Shockwave? I am looking to get into predator hunting, besides just my regular hunts.
I will make another video in the future about calling around/near farms. I would suggest a calf or a kid goat distress. These are great if you can mix them with a coyote barks. Mixing sounds can be done on all of the fox pro calls that feature the fox fusion feature. Thanks for watching and I hope this helps.
Great videos. I’m new to predator hunting as of this year. I’ve got a lot to learn and thanks to videos like yours it has been a big help. How long do you play sounds at a time? I’m always worried about calling one particular sound too long and it not sounding natural to the predator.
I am looking to upgrade my foxpro patriot to this shockwave , the shockwave seems to have every feature available I was considering x24 but realized one speaker and not all the features what's your opinion on the shockwave?
Justin Sidervag unless you are hunting way out west where you don’t have any trees then I don’t like them. I have found that here in the eastern portion of the country or anywhere that has tree cover, coyotes tend to stop approaching the call once they see something. They then start circling the call. The issue with this, these coyotes can sometimes see this decoy without you being able to see them. This may cause that coyote to never come out in the field. Or lock up some distance away. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
Can you refer me to a list of FoxPro sounds for NC that I can use for all predators and crows here? I want to order a new caller with custom sound list and have no idea what to pick besides the three you just mentioned.
Where are you guys at in NC? I've got a pretty big plot of land north of Durham that is crawling g with these things. Wiped out our deer population. Howling and barking all night. I've literally seen eyes in the tree line 20 ft. From me. Any chance you guy are close by?
@@kountry229 how could we set this up? I don't have social media but I could give you my company email mail or something. It would make a really good video.
Control their numbers as they have no natural predators other than humans. Which will also help increase the population of other game species such as rabbits, deer, Turkey, etc.
I agree, I don't understand this. I ended up here because I was looking for a way to get close for photographing them. Why people think they need to kill things fun is beyond me. Using pup distress sounds to lure them in to kill them is just cruel. There is a good chance the ones you are bringing in with such a call could be mothers, and you're potentially leaving their pups abandoned to starve. People just seem hell bent on ruining this planet in stead of living harmoniously with it.

Ya for sure cause dogs get shot at and educated like coyotes do when they hear those sounds.

These sounds can be used for that purpose as well.
I’m a beginner to coyote hunting...thanks for this information.
Great to have you in the sport! Thanks for watching and I hope that this video helps.

X-wave all the way!
Any favorites to use while calling around farm animals ? They seem a bit skiddish in our neck of the woods

Nice!

I play howls at full volume and distress at a quarter or half way.
How long would you play each sound?

Did you buy a FoxPro?

1. We ain’t all guys
2. Love the word ginormous
3. We ain’t all guys
Lol
I mean okay but can we freaking hear it. Thought this had sound bits
Is that a camo garage door?? Seems like a bad idea?
It's a carport. You are seeing actual woods, genius.
Does pup distress work all year round
In my opinion.... yes. However, it all depends how pressured the coyotes are, and how/when you use that sound In your calling sequence.
How long do you play one particular sound?
All depends on the time of the year, coyotes reactions, and what I am hearing in response to the sound.
Good stuff
You never played the third sound.
How do you like that Shockwave
Best call I have ever ran
@@SouthernExtremeTV you still using it

#1 i dont think z bought it. #2 she wants a coyot.
Why do you kill them?

Good gravy less talk dude
Why kill them though? It is not cool
