Such beautiful cards. I love the last one, with the inside pieces higher than the outline I love how that looks! But all of the cards are lovely. What an impact that stamping across the die cuts makes.
Wow! Brilliant tutorial stamp layering tips and tricks. No favorite-all three are beauties. Thank you Jennifer. This tutorial is on a growing playlist...😊 Blessings❤️
Jennifer, the tip of cutting your dies out in white and save with the dies for later reference is genius! Thank you for the many, many tips you give all of crafters. Have a blessed New Year. Lisa
Love to inlay as well. It is just fun to do and the results are fabulous. I’m terrible at water coloring and I’ve tried it many times but in the end it’s just frustrating. I found that I love to fussy cut, inlay, adding all kinds of stash to a project. I’ve stopped feeling guilty that my watercoloring looks so awful and an gravitating back to layers on a card similar to your style. It’s good to know I’m not alone with limitations. It causes me to appreciate others abilities and talents all the more! Thanks for your transparency as that teaches as much as putting together a card.
Wonderful video. So many neat ideas. The stamping of the ideas each time is ingenious. Thank you so much for doing your videos. I have learned alot and often go back from time to time. 👏👏👏
This technique is so beautiful. I especially love the inlay on the 3rd card. Just shows how amazing paper is in the hands of an artist! Bravo Jennifer!!!🌷🎄☃️🌷
Oh Jennifer: The last card is stunning. I love all of the cards and really like the technique but the last card was extra special. Your O.C.D. cracks me up! I have SERIOUS O.C.D. so I already have plans for trying the technique you used for the last card. I think inlay is really pretty. I spent hours making a condolence card for my sister when she had to put her kitty to sleep. I made the inlay cat several different shades of gray, white and black! Again, it took forever (lol) but it looked great when I was done. My sister loved it. TFS
I plan to do that too....I originally was only going to do it with word dies (since of course they are backwards) but felt having a “reference cut” would be super helpful for all of them.
Great technique. I especially like the technique of putting the card with the adhesive into the Misti to attach the front panel. I'll definitely use this hint. Thank you.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to challenge ourselves with these techniques! Your cards are uniquely beautiful. I can’t wait to try these techniques. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I need to buy more of this type of die. I love this technique. You were blessed with such a talent and I thank you for sharing it with us as always. Merry Christmas Jennifer!
Wow! That is a lot of work, especially on your last one, but they do look awesome that way!! Thanks for yet another tip on using your dies in more than one way!!
Beautiful cards. I like this technique. I have 4 birthdays to make cards for. I will try this on one of them. Also, the layering die storage with a sample in it is a great tip. It could also help to know how to layer it. I've done samples before making the actual project. I number the layers so I know which order and color to use. I do that when I mass produce. Thank you again for sharing your wisdom.
👁👁 Jennifer M 👑: OMG you are a spectacular VISIONARY❗️ You take a design 1 - 2 - 3 steps farther 🌟 than anyone else. For “us” viewers, the videos are flawless due to you being ORGANIZED. Your DIRECTIONS are just that, direct... concise... clean... and that makes them easy to comprehend & follow your instructions. THANK YOU❣️ and 🙏 high 5 from a loyal fan plus a “First Responder” to this fab technique, Dianne in Arizona🌵
Beautiful technique. Thank you for sharing. I love the bird so much and such a cool way to make the heart look like there are many layers. Love everything you do!!
💚 Reference die cuts ? Yeah, I do that a lot. But I thought it was just me. It helps me remember ! Sometimes I add the reference colors to a layered die cut also. Everything gets stored in an envelope with the die cut. 😍 Layered eclipse die cuts.. Awesome technique ! 🙋 GreatNana in se OK usa
Lol, you know Simon Says Stamp has a release when all your favorite crafty people post at midnight 😁 Love the cards, especially the peony at the end! 😘👌
These cards are beautiful! You always have amazing ideas and tips! Thank you for sharing them! You mentioned you are preparing teachers’ gifts. Would you share your ideas for that? I know you have done some videos on that in the past but I am always looking for more ideas to prepare something special for teachers. Thank you for all you do! You are amazing!
This is a really helpful technique Jen, thanks. Im often forced to use die cut simple sentiments on busy cards. It will be nice to stamp a longer stamp greeting right over some of the card details
Thank you Jennifer..I love every eclipse technique, they always give a fun look, I usually use floral stamps and dies but this idea with sentiments is great..wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a peaceful new year..🎄😊xx

Love all your videos. I have learned so much from you. Thank you! This question has probably been answered but...your nails are beautiful...what do you use? Is it polish or the new type peel and stick?
This was seriously cool. Wondered why you didn’t stamp each layer on the third card...that would have helped all those layers. But, beautiful as usual!
Curious as to why you didn’t wait to have all the layers on before stamping. It still seems quite crisp, but I would be worried about the stamping becoming muddied after repeated presses. Wondering if there’s a method to the madness, there…
Love the layers. Have you had any problems mailing your cards with the thickness of your finished card? I was told by our local post office if it’s not bendable by an inch it’s needs to have postage for a package which was over 5.00. I would hate to not use layers because I want to mail it. Love your work. You make it look so easy.
This is probably something I don't get because I haven't actually done it yet....BUT why don't you assemble the card, and then do the stamping once? My gut is telling me the dimension will be problematic....I'm fairly new to card making, so I'm still in the technique gathering phase. Your videos are wonderful for how-tos and inspiration
They are all beautiful. I am definitely going to go through my stash for bird dies I can use to emulate your technique. Thank you as always for your inspiration and Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄🇦🇺🎄

Eclipse is one of my most favorite techniques and I thank you for this twist on it. Love how your brain works 😍

It's ok to not master everything! I have said many times that I am not good with watercolor either! Just do what you love
Beautiful cards! Thank you. I like your idea/technique of putting the card in the misti to line up the panel on top. Thank you.

Jennifer, great cards and techniques. Thanks so much. 😊
Absolutely gorgeous cards! Thanks so much for sharing…
Such a great tip at the beginning about making a reference die cut and keeping it in the pouch! I'm going to adopt that idea :)
I plan to do that too....I originally was only going to do it with word dies (since of course they are backwards) but felt having a “reference cut” would be super helpful for all of them.
This is a fantastic technique!
The results are really eye popping!
Happy Holidays Jennifer!

These cards are great! I love this new release....love the layering!
Great ideas! I too love doing inlay techniques and can spend hours laying in pieces - it’s hard on the neck and shoulders though!

So beautiful. Will definitely try this. Just wondering if you make the envelopes by your self also? Thanks for your wonderful videos and inspiration 🙏
most of these are from simon says stamp
This idea is fabulous! What does the heading on the thumbnail mean, though? Techniques in two sentences? Anyway, thanks for sharing 👋
oooopppps! thank you! was a late night. thanks for letting me know. it is fixed.

I think there would be lots of gaps if I did it one too many layers at once. But give it a try and see what you think!

Love your work. You make it look so easy.
go to a different PO. i have one that says that high, but all the others charge much less. no problems.
Wow
Is there a reason why you don't just use the stamping mat to begin with? Thus only needing to run through once.
Instead of a piercing background, could you do an embossing folder (One that isn't super deep)?
Absolutely!
What is the name of the tool you use to pick up your sequins?

Oops, your title card still had filler text!
Love your videos, especially these longer ones.
thank you - it is fixed!

I think there would be too many gaps in the stamping doing it that way but give it a try and let me know what you think!
They are all beautiful. I am definitely going to go through my stash for bird dies I can use to emulate your technique. Thank you as always for your inspiration and Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄🇦🇺🎄
Probably a small mistake in the thumbnail. The subtitle says: "Techniques go here. Up to two line sentence."
Thank you for posting!
fixed! :)
First here again! Yippee!
