Holiday Recipes You Didn't Know You Needed

  • Turkey Roll-Ups
2 cups cooked turkey pulled apart
    10 ounces frozen chopped broccoli
1 can cream of mushroom soup
    7-8 large tortillas
    French fried onions
    Shredded cheese of your choice
Mix turkey with frozen broccoli, 1/3 of the can of mushroom soup, french fried onions, and shredded cheese. Roll mixture into tortillas and place in a greased pan. Add water to the remaining can of cream of mushroom soup and mix until a pourable consistency. Pour over the tortillas and top with more french fried onions and shredded cheese. Bake covered at 375 for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
    Taco Soup
This was a hot mess of a recipe share but basically, add Ranch seasoning and taco seasoning to your favorite chili recipe. Maybe even some cream cheese. Makes it sooooo good! 😉 Perfect for an easy meal when you are hosting people and tired of the ACTUAL holiday food. We usually use easy things like this for the "night before" the holiday. You know... the one many of us forget to plan for. 😂

I have made the burritos before. To stretch them I have added leftover cooked rice and corn to it also. I have also added kidney beans and onions. Love it!. Your soup I make similar but add equal amount chicken stock, canned string beans, onions, whatever vegetables and cooked rice...makes a hearty stew-soup. Seasonings would just be salt, pepper and Italian herbs.

Just made the turkey roll up recipe (I’m in the UK and we have turkey at Christmas) I just thought it was a little different to other leftover recipes. I used fresh broccoli that I just blanched first, worked perfectly. I also diluted the mushroom soup with left over turkey stock. Wasn’t sure on my husbands reaction but he loved it. The best thing was as were eating it we were thinking of other recipes/variations that we could make. Thanks for the inspiration xxx

I love how happy Destiny was to help. She knows cheese is awesome and it might have needed a little extra. There are no recipes my husband asked me to learn from his mother. I had already learned the one she made that he liked, I shared it on my channel last week. She didn't cook much. Things he said he didn't like before, once I cooked them he liked. In fact, I would cook just enough for me, and then he would eat it so I started cooking enough for both of us. lol I make my own ranch too, it is so much easier and better for you. I also make my own taco seasoning. I want to make that taco soup, it looks yummy to me. Thank you for sharing.

For those that dislike tomato chunks, you could always blend up your tomatoes first. Less tomatoey flavour then the crushed that way. I do it all of the time. I find that picky eaters cannot pick out what is blended up. (this works with any hated veggie).
