I'm so glad LNER not only retained 225 sets but gave them that stunning intercity tribute livery. Will be passing through Donny on my way down south next week, great place to see trains and then chill out at the Draughtsman, which I've done a few times. Also looks strange without the dreaded Northern Buses stalking you there, remember those days on your channel quite well lol :)
Seeing the 225 sets getting a new lease of life was great to see, and hopefully they will be with us for a lot longer yet. I also remember the time I had the northern buses coming back and forth, would drive me nuts haha
It is nice to see some trains approach slowly for stopping the station, and some other trains may approach much faster, like the train from York to London King cross (?) which I couldn't tell whether it was going to stop at all.
66 023 Kings Coronation wasn't hauling empties - it was loaded with stealth containers that the camera cannot pick up! 🙂 The container-lifter driver has to have special training to ensure the special paint isn't damaged. (Well, it will be April 1st again soon!)
Well. The 465 is 465235 which is being parted out for component recovery which then will be disposed off when that is complete. The 165 is 165004 which had been out of service for a few years for some hybrid conversion which hasn’t had an update for a year. The 47 is 703. 714 is also another one for heating. Apparently these were being offered for sale along with several other 47s but Harry made it very clear that this was serious as 769 had been sent for scrap earlier. But great vid nonetheless
Nice video great camera work as usual as always keep it up i am really looking forward to seeing your next video also when is your next video going to be on UA-cam bye for now Philip
I know that buddy from Alan in Lowestoft buddy 👍 😊
Great video at Doncaster I like the Intercity livery 225 sets
The 225 sets really add a sense of character to the line
An enjoyable visit, lots of variation, certainly pleased the 225 are still running, shame about the weather.
It was a great visit here, just wish the weather was more on my side during my stay here
Hi Tornado922. Great film at Doncaster. Looking forward to the next film at York. Kind regards, Chris.
Thanks very much Chris

I guess it depends on how confident the driver is feeling at the time
Those fast-crossing trains always are welcomed sights.
Always enjoy seeing them do that
Missed out Transpennine Express
nice video
Thank you
Again great vlog
Thanks very much!
Nice railway video in typical UK weather
The bad weather seems to follow me everywhere it would seem
The 225 sets still sound awesome buddy 😊
They most certainly do!
i love 225 sets. especially in the new livery!
also the azumas sneak up on you. when i went here about a week ago, one of the azumas passing scared the life out of me
@@Senselessdust the amount of times that an Azuma has almost caught me off guard is beyond count
66023's livery is DBR Deutsche Bhan royal
Ok. Regards the 180s. Look at the last two digits on one of the coaches so say...56014. The set number is therefore 180114.
Thanks for the info
Great video
5:45 I think it's 180112
Formed as a hybrid of 180103 and 180112.
Yay! Doncaster!
It's a great station

Now that would certainly explain it ;)
Great video mate. Doncaster never disappoint is a lovely station for freight trains and nice to catch 66023 as well 👍

I always seem to have the bad weather following me all over the country haha
@@Tornado922 same here
Nice vid m8
Thanks very much
You're welcome I love you m8
What is you're next film cause I'm curious
Would you do another vid at Norwich or London Liverpool Street
i love the 225s but miss seeing turbostars all the time up here. Just better than the 385s personally
The railways are steadily changing
19:00 very funny comment 😂
any idea when you may revisit Cardiff central as unless im tripping you havent been there since TFWs new toys entered service?
I have a film coming out from there within the next couple of weeks
@@Tornado922 looking forward to it
Did you film this on a Saturday? the lack of freight is very disappointing, I was told Doncaster is amazing for freight.
Tornado922 did film this on a Saturday.
This is a good station. Why the ‘VT’ stop marker at the beginning?
I assume because Virgin used to run the ECML and they haven't gotten around to changing the stop boards
Voyager Train for 4/5 car Voyagers
Would you do a video at Cromer
I doubt it
Will you be going to Wolverhampton anytime soon?
I'm not sure
How do you know the number of a train when sometimes the numbers are so small to see?
Realtime Trains has the unit number for most services (operators that have agreed to share the information)
@@tl.rogers I don't use RTT for train numbers, I prefer to try and catch them the old fashioned way
Finally something different from the same ol boring WCML lol
I thought I'd spice things up a bit lol
