I've been looking for this song for 42 years. It never went out of my mind. I saw that movie with cousins older than me in 1971, it was my first night adventure with older guys and that also is still in my mind. I never listened that incredible music till now. What a great composer! How wonderful is music: it doesn't take any room but it can take you to travel on time...Thanks for posting

Been watching this movie today as a tribute to the past Morricone,while the movie is really good the thing that marked me the most was this beautiful soundtrack,its so bitter sweet like the friendship between the two main characters and the Irish's backstory,you will be dearly missed Mister Morricone.

I first saw this movie 25 years ago and realized how underrated it was The music together with the revolutionary theme, the love that Sean and Nolan had for a young women were all portrayed so graphically honest as if the viewer were involved in my their lives. The music is a haunting masterpiece, sad but thought provoking. I cried at the ending.
