It is not that because there are guns and rifles they must necessarily be westerns, and in this case, spaghetti. The film imprinted on the Mexican Revolution of 1913, it seems to me, which has nothing to do with westerns.
You are totally correct @yesfed. There will be people out there who do not know who Monco is. Then again, if those people know what total cool is…..they will pass the test.
Love this scene, its my favourite after the March of The Beggars jailbreak scene and the carriage "hitch hike" scene...."a bit of mustard"..brilliant story, soundtrack and acting (even with the dodgy Irish accent), love this movie, its Sergio Leone's best work...a masterpiece!
Everytime when someone's ask me what's your favorite movie of all time, usually it's got to be western, usually i squeeze 5 or 6 of them, then when it's to late i remember this one,but God knows,i adore this movie
I have got this movie DVD of James Coburn with Rod Steiger in A Fistfuls Of Dynamite I am dedicating this movie DVD to my old school friends who are both sisters as I hope to see them both again very soon to Chris and Hester from Billyxxx
Apparently, Leone wanted Coburn to star in "A fistful of dollars." But he cost 25,000 Dollars and Eastwood was only 15,000. They're both really 😎 Cool actors, but Eastwood was a bargain
Saw it at the theater in 1972. Great action, and fun. Coburn always great, along with Steiger. Did anyone notice that the Mexican armoured car resembles the "darth vader helmet"?
In France we call western movies from Italia : " Western Spaghetti " but for me, his not a western movie like Trinita or My Name is Nobody, he has a breadth in the themes it adresses, which make it à film that cannot be reduced to à simple western.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV, Jesus Christ is the only way.......
This film has more cringe in it than all the Sabata movies, The Last Boyscout, Starcrash and Easy Rider, even if all those movies were actually one very long movie. When I was a little boy I decided I would rather watch that long movie before I saw this one ever again.
Probably one of Leone’s Most Unique and UNDERRATED Masterpieces.
Unique is the right word.
this is maybe the coolest character introduction of all time
O diretor de Mad Max II faz uma hilariante homenagem a este personagem do Coburn no cara do ultraleve. Até a tirada dos óculos é parecida.
Harmonica 😎
The Music is so Great. And Coburn is magnificent and powerful acting. I love to watch and just disappear into another dimension of existence
At 2'51 incredible cinematography . Perfect conbination between music, camera and acting.
Actors today don t have the same charisma
first time i watched this i was around 11. This film marked me forever. James Coburn = King!
Masterpiece movie, Masterpiece acting Coburn and Steiger. Masterpice Movie score Ennio Morricone, Masterpiece director Leone. Superb script ! 🥰🥰🥰
🎉😂😂❤😅
My favourite film of all time. I cannot put into words how much I love this movie
I'm with you my friend.., I can watch it on a loop. I'm sat in my car now listening to the theme music before work.
I think i seen this movie 100 Times, sergio Leone was the greatest
My father's name was Sean
Does this movie have any relation to a Fist Full Of Dollars? Because that movie was awesome
@@rrrichard4151 they are made by the same director. Sergio Leone is the man
This movie blew my mind away...
Badass Comment!!!
Shoulda ducked, you sucker!
Punny.
Next to Monco entrance this is one of the best entrance by a protagonist in a Spaghetti Western.
It is not that because there are guns and rifles they must necessarily be westerns, and in this case, spaghetti. The film imprinted on the Mexican Revolution of 1913, it seems to me, which has nothing to do with westerns.
How about Sartana in the 3rd Sartana film or Django's entire intro?
"Yeah, but you don't look like the one who'll collect it" 🤩
You are totally correct @yesfed. There will be people out there who do not know who Monco is. Then again, if those people know what total cool is…..they will pass the test.
"This train'll stop at Tucumcari" isn't half bad either.
The best movie and the only movie which has and will forever be a master piece.
Could not agree more
Perhaps my favourite film of all time and I found it at the age I could appreciate it enough to appreciate it more as time goes on.
Wonderful soundtrack! James Coburn in "Cross of Iron" made a great act as well
This wonderful film was released in France under the title : " Il Etait Une Fois La Révolution " ( Once Upon A Time There Was a Revolution )
one of the best westerns ive ever seen along with once upon a time in the west
That’s some intro! Great performances from coburn and Steiger
Everytime when someone's ask me what's your favorite movie of all time, usually it's got to be western, usually i squeeze 5 or 6 of them, then when it's to late i remember this one,but God knows,i adore this movie
One of the best films I have ever seen. Such feeling and the music.❤❤❤
the scene is like in an anime/manga/comic.

And it all came together wonderfully, Clint, Bronson, Coburn, all at the right time and place. Sergio Leone made some miracle movies!

Saw it at the theater in 1972. Great action, and fun. Coburn always great, along with Steiger. Did anyone notice that the Mexican armoured car resembles the "darth vader helmet"?
James Coburn, gran artista.
If you need a telescope to see those explosions, you need to get your eyes checked! 😂
The music when Coburn removed his goggles is awesome, anyone know the name?

MAGNIFIQUE❤❤❤
perfect action movie without anachronisms. There was no MG42 machine gun in 1913
Or browning high power pistol.
There no Italian Mexicans dubbed in English either
It's a cartoon. No gravity either.
There wAs no IRA in 1913
جون دائما مايأتي ويقتحم الإطار ثم بعد ذلك يذهب كأن شيءا لم يحدث . مثل الثورة تماما

Terrible title, corny music, great film though.
