If doc was sexting a minor on twitch wispers and the persons parents saw it they could of reached out to twitch about it. The legal tie up is because this person could of represented them selves as being a legal age on twitch. So Doc was sexting with someone he thought was an adult. That would track with why he didn't have any "legal troubles" results from anything having to do with a minor. Twitch also didn't want it to come out that they verified an underage minor on their site who was in fact not of legal age. So, its kinda like the spiderman meme of everyone pointing at someone else. Doc went thru some shit years prior for cheating on his wife or trying to. So maybe Twitch didn't want the face of the platform being a known cheater and now, technically a pedo in some peoples eyes. My guess is Doc, Twitch and who the other party was agreed to a settlement in which everyone went their own way. Only way the tweets line up with what is being said and why Doc would be terminated from Midnight. He might not of broken TOS for Midnight but its a bad look. Personally I think it’s also a look at how many people don’t understand NDA’s… you cannot talk about them full stop. You can’t confirm or deny anything at all.
Someone could ask “did twitch fire you because you are secretly a Martian from the planet zorgon?”

Considering he admitted it, obviously they did. Chances are, they settled because the risks of this getting to court are high. Instead, pay some money to make it go away, and then you can control the terms of the deal.

Mixer announced it was shutting down, and they made this announcement June 22nd of 2020. AFTER that, Doc got banned on June 26th, 2020. The theory was that Twitch didn't want to pay out this massive contract they just signed to keep Doc on Twitch because they no longer had to since Mixer was about to shut down. Having studied psychology for over 15 years I can confidently say that he displays the appropriate amount of distancing for a situation that he had already resolved and put behind him. As someone studying psychology, you should know what occurs when a traumatic event reoccurs. There isn’t any information that suggests he did anything. In fact, the information provided shows that he did nothing. Twitch assumed he did, when it was initially brought to court, they realized their error and decided it would be cheaper to pay out his contract and have him sign an NDA than it would to be dragged through the mud in a wrongful termination suit and then, inevitably, a defamation suit. All that being said, it’s speculation on my part as well. But from a psychological standpoint his response is warranted as his reputation is, once again, being tarnished on unfounded allegations that he can no longer legally comment on. It’s a fight he already won and here he is again, having to face it, but without any teeth due to his NDA with Twitch. And the little garbage human beings running around screaming allegations for clout, with no evidence, are feeling no pressure whatsoever.

Some speculation in this whole drama, but what sounds most compelling to me is a game company (Midnight Society) that pretty much RELIES on Doc to make profit, terminating their relations with him after having made investigations. What motive could they have? Clout? Unlikely. The monetary profit from sticking to doc and having one of the largest current-day streamers plug your product is a gig that no sane company would throw away. UNLESS the consequences of sticking with doc would far outweigh the potential benefits. So whatever happened in those DMs, it was so bad that it was better cutting ties than sticking to the Doc, even though its one of the luckiest positions a game company could have.

Surely a twitch contract would have clauses that would render it void if certain clauses are breached. Twitch TOS outlines reasons why your license can be terminated, though not exactly the same, it would have something similar in the contract. If what he was accused of was true, then what grounds would he have to sue? let alone win?
Here's my theory: Twitch falsely banned Doc due to "evidence" provided through chatlogs. As a result of the ban, he loses a lot of money from potential sponsors/deals, twitch subs etc. He sues Twitch, twitch doesn't want people knowing they read users chatlogs, decide to settle favouring Doc.

I appreciate the candid disclaimer and honesty and about how we all will make judgements, followed by the encouragement to form our own opinions. Most channels that cover these topics, like keemstar for example, will immediately jump on the "he's a kiddiefiddler" train from this and will say they aren't encouraging their audience to target anyone while blatantly doing exactly that.
That said, my personal take on it is that there's no legal scenario that would prevent him from saying "I didn't do that". There just isn't. He was deliberately vague and refused to deny it and instead reinforced that whatever he did do, twitch was found to be in the wrong, likely through a contract breach, which would also explain why he won the case. Midnight Society cutting ties like this too furthers my belief in this. They obviously also can't give us any receipts, but twitch would absolutely be able to show them as they have a duty to protect their own employees and customers, and business are required to share that info upon request under certain circumstances. The world isn't that cut and dry, certainly not the legal system at least. You can be caught doing a lot of things, but if you were caught with illegal methods (violation of privacy like reading mail, e-mail, wiretap not authorized by a judge) you will more likely than not have no criminal charges. The DA office will see illegal methods were used to obtain information and know that they and any law enforcement officers will be punished if they push the case and sued to oblivion.
I've talked federal prosecutor turned court of common pleas judge. They were MANY times when you can know someone commited a crime but will not charge them. Knowing someone committed a crime and proving that they committed a crime beyond a reasonable doubt to convince a jury of 12 people are to vastly different things.
