I see a woman, looking at a man she once loved and a LIFE that was supposed to be HERS. I see a woman frustrated that she no longer has any access to his wealth. No matter what went on in their marriage, she has to love her son more than she hates Steve. Whether he and Marjorie had an Affair during the marriage or after is now Irrelevant. She needs to breathe, find a good therapist to help her move on and find HER own life. It is no longer with Steve, it is no longer with access to the things that being married to Steve can bring. Find your own closure and speak nothing but great things about Steve to his son, because all the craziness in court and on tv will do nothing more than to prove to Winton and everyone else that you are the problem, when in actuality your just in pain. Move on, move forward, get help and forgive the man. No one is perfect, you may not have his love anymore, but at least leave with some dignity and respect.
She is in so much pain that it is hard to watch the interview. It's like her life ended when her marriage did, and that is so sad. I hope she was able to pick herself up, and start looking forward to the many joys she has coming to her. Anytime you have a child with someone you are bound to them for life, and when your relationship falls apart, it would behoove you to make the best of things. At this rate, she will never be a part of Winton's life, and may never get to know her grandchildren when Winton has his own children. Bitterness will rob her of a lot of love and happiness.
I think once she comes to terms with this and some great counseling, a handwritten letter to Winton asking for forgiveness and apologizing to him for her part in their relationship, I think they can get past it. Steve sounds like a father who would encourage reconciliation with him mom, so I think its possible.

If they had that income disparity the courts would most likely make him pay for both lawyers court costs & alimony. I gross 60k a year I have to. 70% of my income I pay out I settled out of court. I too experienced this same similar life. So to hear Mary speak the details emotionally isn't easy to conjure. I thank God prayer and family support got me through and now I'm living my best life ever in my 20th year with my current husband. Mary is correct in saying "it's never water under the bridge when someone schemes and successfully takes your child that you've nurtured and birthed... all due to their glam financial status and hiring better attorney's. Oh did I mention I'm a christian as well as my ex husband? Well I once despised and hated him for what he schemed and took from me. But to have peace and happiness again in my new life and to start a new marriage without the baggage I forgave my ex husband and since then he has humbly apologized several times to me. When I tell you God allowed me to see the tables turned 3 fold after I forgave and prayed... my current husband and I ended up with full custody of me and my ex daughter, she excelled and accomplished so much in school and went on to enroll in college. After 7 yrs of court battles with my ex, God granted me favor to the courts and to those that once doubted my existence as a good mother and wife and a person of integrity, loving and compassionate character. It's so true the battle wasn't mine it was the Lords! A lawyer would not have been able to help her stay of jail for violating a provision she insisted upon.

So this was the ONLY recourse she had because courts would not listen to her. Mary was the one that started the foundation, the razzies but he just replaced Mary with Marjorie. Marjorie stated on numerous occasions HERSELF that he is attractive because he was rich and she went after him. Of course tjis was right after the DEA busted her THIRD husband and was building a case against her that she found him appealing. You really only need to look at Chris Bosh case, also Dallas area, to see how the courts treat the mothers. He got away with using the state as a residence to pay minimum amount of support versus income, less than $1000 a month. Steve is SO quick to say God is not through with me when he's confronted with the truth that he fails to realize God is not sleep either. Sometimes God builds you up to show his powers then bring you down because of your path.

I’ve been a fool for loving someone who betrayed me & turned out not to be the man he portrayed or the man thought he was. Totally debated over him cheating and lieing for years. One day (a year or more later) it clicked & I realized longer I’m mad or looking for a why is more time he takes from me. Truth was I was giving him my time & energy praying for answers, reasons & was I just dumb. So at the end of the day I will always love & miss the man I think he wishes he was (pretended till his true side showed up) . Just so sad for him and young adult daughter with 4yr old . After breakup I moved two hours to start fresh in new town. Anyway she had to move to her dads house. So glad she saw the love I had for them & very thankful she respects me &. decided that my guidance would be best to be with me since I’m understanding of being young single mom . Yet stay on her about the realities. Means the world to me. So my love in that home for our little family was recognized Her dad still lying & cheating and just can’t help but to only think of his self. That is how jesus showed me that I wasn’t a fool or stupid for 6 years and that it turned out to be one of the best con artist & took advantage of a good woman. Still haven’t found a man for me but have found love for myself.

A male friend of mine got married with a young lady he never truly loved just because he needed some support during a difficult time of his life at work, they moved back to his hometown and he was treating her very poorly so she started to feel depressed, after only 2 years of marriage he was able to manipulate her and to convince that she was not able to raise the child they had together. He made her sign a full custody agreement at his full benefits and he got rid of his wife at the same time sending her back to her parents house. Her depression prevented her to make good choices. He's not my friend anymore as taking a child from a mum is one of the worst form of torture u can do to a human being.

I see a woman, looking at a man she once loved and a LIFE that was supposed to be HERS. I see a woman frustrated that she no longer has any access to his wealth. She needs to breathe, find a good therapist to help her move on and find HER own life. It is no longer with Steve, it is no longer with access to the things that being married to Steve can bring. Listening to this takes you back to the movie Diary Of A Mad Black Woman... her character lost EVERYTHING under the manipulation and scheme of her husband that controlled their assets and finances... they didn't have a child for him to take however the wife (played by Kimberly Elise) had several miscarriages due to the stress from her marriage.
I too experienced this same similar life. So to hear Mary speak the details emotionally isn't easy to conjure. I thank God prayer and family support got me through and now I'm living my best life ever in my 20th year with my current husband. Mary is correct in saying "it's never water under the bridge when someone schemes and successfully takes your child that you've nurtured and birthed... all due to their glam financial status and hiring better attorney's.
Oh did I mention I'm a christian as well as my ex husband? Well I once despised and hated him for what he schemed and took from me. But to have peace and happiness again in my new life and to start a new marriage without the baggage I forgave my ex husband and since then he has humbly apologized several times to me. When I tell you God allowed me to see the tables turned 3 fold after I forgave and prayed... my current husband and I ended up with full custody of me and my ex daughter, she excelled and accomplished so much in school and went on to enroll in college. After 7 yrs of court battles with my ex, God granted me favor to the courts and to those that once doubted my existence as a good mother and wife and a person of integrity, loving and compassionate character. It's so true the battle wasn't mine it was the Lords! I know this is old and I pray she has moved on... but I felt the hurt in her voice and you can really see it in her face. Many people may call her bitter, but no one can tell you how to grieve your divorce. I'm sure what she says in her interview and the interviews that went viral hold truth to them. Everyone is calling her bitter or angry but this is the ONLY way to get out her side. The courts placed a gag order on their entire case but he CONSTANTLY speaks negatively about her. He used their attorney to take her to the cleaners then used the good old boy network courts in Texas to place a gag order on case to keep her quiet but he would degrade her while praising Marjorie. So this was the ONLY recourse she had because courts would not listen to her. Mary was the one that started the foundation, the razzies but he just replaced Mary with Marjorie. Of course tjis was right after the DEA busted her THIRD husband and was building a case against her that she found him appealing.
You really only need to look at Chris Bosh case, also Dallas area, to see how the courts treat the mothers. He got away with using the state as a residence to pay minimum amount of support versus income, less than $1000 a month.

I’ve been a fool for loving someone who betrayed me & turned out not to be the man he portrayed or the man thought he was. Totally debated over him cheating and lieing for years. One day (a year or more later) it clicked & I realized longer I’m mad or looking for a why is more time he takes from me. Truth was I was giving him my time & energy praying for answers, reasons & was I just dumb. So at the end of the day I will always love & miss the man I think he wishes he was (pretended till his true side showed up) . Just so sad for him and young adult daughter with 4yr old . After breakup I moved two hours to start fresh in new town. Anyway she had to move to her dads house. So glad she saw the love I had for them & very thankful she respects me &. decided that my guidance would be best to be with me since I’m understanding of being young single mom . Yet stay on her about the realities. Means the world to me. So my love in that home for our little family was recognized Her dad still lying & cheating and just can’t help but to only think of his self. That is how jesus showed me that I wasn’t a fool or stupid for 6 years and that it turned out to be one of the best con artist & took advantage of a good woman. Still haven’t found a man for me but have found love for myself.

A male friend of mine got married with a young lady he never truly loved just because he needed some support during a difficult time of his life at work, they moved back to his hometown and he was treating her very poorly so she started to feel depressed, after only 2 years of marriage he was able to manipulate her and to convince that she was not able to raise the child they had together. He made her sign a full custody agreement at his full benefits and he got rid of his wife at the same time sending her back to her parents house. Her depression prevented her to make good choices. He's not my friend anymore as taking a child from a mum is one of the worst form of torture u can do to a human being.

Her entire world has been flipped upside down and now she is having to adjust to a new life without a husband, without her child, and without the wealth that she had become accustomed to. Now, I don't agree with her airing her dirty laundry to the public (considering the fact that she has a child) but, Honestly, this seems to be much deeper than money, and none of us know the core of the situation. She said wanted a. divorce so Steve speeded up the process. What you looking for? Your son can see you if he wants . You were the second wife so you got what you did you did to the first wife.
If she wanted to change things, she could have filed for an appeals, she could have gone to court to try and get parental visits. His ex seems so much more reserved and uptight, that Steve Harvey, and this clash in personality types could be what led to things falling apart. If you have to go to lots of social engagements as part of your job,mor simply like going out, but your partner is a home body, it can leed you to feel like your all alone. At the time of the interview, they were divorced for 6 years, but had been separated for 6 years prior to the divorce. The fact she would drag this out into the media, probably after Steve's career took another move upwards, shows she just can't let go. Whether it's loosing custody of your kids in a divorce or the death of a loved one, if you can't let go, it will eat you alive, and even drive you crazy. How in the world is Steve going to bully a jury, how is he going to threaten them, if he was a power player in a small town, or a person in power in a big city even, possibly,, but he is just a comedian. Now, had she said he won the jury over with his charming personality, his status as a celebrity, I might believe it, but bulling the judge and jury, really? I mean, celebs get divorced all the time, they get sent to rehab and even jail, so how he supposedly is different and has more power over a judge, just doesn't carry any weight.
