Ooh, I am very excited, this sounds awesome. I'm always up for trying a new Toontown server, I feel like the varying ones provide their own unique take on the game & there's a reason for them all to exist. I play TTR when I want something close to traditional Toontown but sometimes I want something different, raising my toons up again in TTR felt more like work than fun where as in the old days of Toontown, I had fun raising each of my toons & lots of great stories from it too. I got to relive that feeling playing Corporate Clash since it was new & different, for once I actually didn't know what to expect since I know TTC & Donald's Dock tasks super well, I could almost do those playgrounds with my eyes closed, Daisy Gardens is where variety tasks are thrown in so that's where it gets a tad shaky for me but for Corporate Clash, it was so different that I kept on having to slap myself out of autopilot since I ended up going the wrong way too many times (the Punchline Place, Silly Street switch is what threw me, Loopy Lane wasn't as bad but still had to pay more attention) & that was nice, I finally had to force myself to focus on the game.
As for suggestions, I'm unsure on what they want you to write for the tasks & stuff but as someone who grew accustom to raising multiple toons at one time I do want to say that although the taskline was a cool, fun idea with great stories to go along with it, it at the same time felt lacking. What I mean by this is that in traditional Toontown, I have the tolerance to raise multiple toons at the same time & do it again & so on because of variety in tasks. Sure, it's more straight forward in the earlier playgrounds with less alternate choices & stuff but at least there is stuff such as the chance of being sent to different buildings & such so it stayed interesting. When I get to Daisy Gardens, I usually try picking different tasks since there's a lot of buildings that are choice buildings as in you can skip them. It was fun being able to do different things & still have a small sense of unpredictability, I don't think in my 10 years of playing TTO & 4 years in TTR that I had ever done the exact same track of toontasks on the same two toons since there's different variables to shake things up each time. I actually once took notes on the easier tasks to take in the Brrrgh so I knew to pick them, my knowledge on Brrrgh tasks was limited since Lawbot HQ didn't exist the first two times I tasked there so upon my third time, I noticed different task options so it lead to me finding out which to pick & so on, had the list kinda sorta finished my fourth time doing tasks there but didn't always directly follow it.
Yeah, kinda got lost on a tangent there but the point I am trying to make is that it was nice having variety within the tasks in Toontown, Corporate Clash feels a bit more narrow like this straight line to stick to. There's side tasks, sure, but they're all the same each time you do them. You can choose not to do them but why do that? You get more stuff by doing those tasks. Which leaves me to say that I hope that Tooniversal Studios has more variety in their tasks & gives you more reason to be able to start over & enjoy the journey your second time through as well as multiple times over. I love the different builds you can do with your toons in TTCC & I even experimented with different ways to approach building your toon to keep it interesting but what I found is that in the end, I'm still doing the same taskline that I already know the story to so I speed through the text. Yeah, I know the various stories to the original TT tasks but I did always take the same tasks when I could help it, some of course are static but there are optional ones to where I took that one my first time tasking here but I didn't take it the last three times I was here so I guess I'll read the text.
Maybe that's a bit nit-picky but I like varying tasks. It's also something I enjoyed, I even liked searching the multiple HQs & shops to get the kind of tasks I prefer as far as the defeat cogs, buildings, & so on tasks go. It was like an extra quest thrown in. Maybe I'm the only person who actually liked that so don't take my word on it, I voluntarily took the defeat 100 5 story cog buildings task so I might be a bit wacko. Not sure how the structure will be for the tasks in Tooniversal Studios but even if it ends up being like the same thing as Corporate Clash with one long ongoing task & side tasks to get, I'm sure it will still be fun. Can't wait to play & definitely want updates.

Can we talk about the combat and how it's structured in Toontown? The combat just like Wizard101 needs spice. Like....it needs interest. Not the same combat only adding a higher percentage of dodging or missing. If course...for a game like Toontown it's REALLY asking too much, but unique wise...Smokin' foreman does it in his videos, and the ODS staff gives some unique like cog inturruptions and Undertale minigames. But uniqueness in the combat...that's ALL I ask. And idk something with the collect system. They say...new, but...it's just hard for me to have faith is Toontown with the word 'new.' That being said...I'll just...check the discord out and see what they have.

I'm hesitant to be excited about this server, at least until they show off more. I know there's plenty still in development, and if there was anything crazy comin out its probably still months of development away, but what's shown here feels like the factory default. A new toon species, new cog type, new task line... feels like I've seen that so many times before. Granted spin sounds like it could be interesting, but in the end, we've still got the same gameplay loop other servers are providing with either more features or more players. Please, prove me wrong when the server fully launches.
Absolutely. While I'm happy to help write for the server, most of the stuff I'm doing and covering is probably more honestly on the conceptual side at this point.

Im dying. I need this game to breathe. And well, all toontown games. So hyped for when this comes out!!
I like the idea of a fresh new lore to the entire tooniverse. I know this would never happen but, it would be really cool to combine TTCC with this new game. boardbots and pressbots, zap and spin?! Plus all new lore and 60fps, it would definitely be a fun game to play if it could come together. Aside from my bizarre fantasy, I am excited to see what kind of lore, overall changes and updates they bring to Toontown.

I have some questions.
1. How do Cog Invasions start?? I mean other than people beating CJ. Like is it a factory glitch?
2.How do you “BUY” emotions?? (Same with doodle tricks!)
3. Why can Toons only carry one level 7 Gags?
4. How do sometimes Cog attacks miss and some hit?
5. Why do Gags have their certain accuracy?? (Example: why does Lure have bad accuracy but squirt has good)
6. VERY IMPORTANT!!! how good is your cooking

I'd love to see some game with community driven storylines, like having toon elections but have it be with a boss battle and losing or winning it could have an actual effect on the game

The toon community is split between too many servers. We don't need another server to divide up the small community even more.
There's only about 5 servers. Rewritten, Corporate Clash, Dessert Storm, World Online, and Fellowship are the only ones i know of that still exist. I guess Offline counts too. Games like Club Penguin are much worse when it comes to servers, trust me.
@@postal2forthe3ds that's still dividing a community between 5 servers, even though Rewritten remains dominant, I do wish a unique one wasn't so empty when i log in after work.
Loopy, one problem with Corp Clash was too grindy in tasks. Keep that in mind with TS.

Can you please tell us, will the tasks be as grindy and annoying as TTCC?
I wanna revise them on TTCC when I can, but when writing them I'll continue to try and make it as enjoyable as possible. One of the main things I've had to come to terms with is letting go with a lot of the playground specific stuff and low recovery rates.

I think they've talked about replacing them. I'm not sure currently.

Tooniversal.com itself is the game website, the TooniversalStudios.com is the Social Media for the game itself, similar to how Toonbook was in TTR. :)
