Thank you for the detailed breakdown. It helped us to make the decision to get a f900xr. It has been a revelation. It is one of the lightest bikes we’ve ever owned and for it to be just as good or even better in many respects than many of the 20 to 30 grand tourers we’ve bought over the years is astonishing.
Out of the 22 motorcycles these millennials have owned from Japanese, Italian and American brands it is in the top 2. It is that good. It is hard to believe a bike considered so small (here in America) is so capable more than I ever thought it could be😳.

These 2 really hit a sweet spot without going over the top. Great performances, looks, and practicality. The XR might be great for my business commutes, comfortable enough with fairing and cases for business stuff and touring. Would have been great to see a pic of the 3 cases on the XR! Great review this guy very knowledgeable👌✊🤓. Just test rode the F900R last week what an amazing machine. However, I’m all about mile munching and the f900r is not one for me but the XR. However, I’ve also ridden the 1000xr and I can’t help but say wow! How does one choose bmw motorrad?

why does the cruise control not turn on at times or flash "red" instead of green for cruise control activation...on the f900xr?

My F900R will be delivered in Mai 2020 in San Marino Blue. I hope that the front fender is also Blue like the bike in the konfiguration.

Is this the most detailed new bike video BMW has made? I don't remember getting this much detail before. The phone connectivity options look pretty amazing. Maybe too amazing... I think, for the price point, the F850/F900 bikes are enormous builds. Thank you BMW!

I like my 750. I sat on both of these and I like the engine changes but not really the seating position on any of these. They 900r they should’ve kept seating position of 800r. That was really comfy bike

Nice video, I'm a beginner motorcyclist, my first bike at age 48 end am small 166cm,, so which bike of this equation is right for me? I drive daily to work in the city and also the highway and sometimes during a weekend round of recreational so, which one? either of which is easy to use or which one is useful? so what is your opinion?
Hi Petroos, in your case a G 310 GS or G 310 R would be suitable. But also an F 900 R with the optional output reduction of 35 kW (48 hp) is very user friendly and could suit you. Please contact your dealer for more information!

Is the dashboard can be connected to smartphone for security issues such as if someone try to steel the bike?
Hi there, the TFT instrument cluster is connected via Bluetooth to the customer’s smartphone. This connection can only be used when the motorcycle is turned on so it is not usable for theft prevention. In this case we offer an anti-theft alarm system as option.

The new XR looks amazing! There should be an F600XR with the same style same bike just 600cc around 75hp would make a great commuter sports tourer!! Right now Yamaha Tracer 700 has found that middle weight sweet spot that BMW seems nowhere to be found. With a 600cc XR would change that.
I saw the mirrows at min. 9:02 ... they looked really nice but I couldnt find them in the
accessory list???

No, it is included. It's required by law in Germany. U can get ABS Pro with the premium tech package

Kamilo Piccanto thanks. What don’t you like about it? BMW have given me a €600 voucher as part of the deal on my new F900XR. I can only spend it on their rider equipment, though, and I don’t really need anything 😬
Paul B the fit and build quality are ok. But the ventilation sucks and it’s loud. I have the F850GS and the G310R it’s impossible to ride without ear plugs on both of them. If your dealer allows - take it on a test ride and decide :) I have lots of BMW equipment that I love but I doubt I’m gonna go with their helmets next time.

I think the F900XR, is the Yamaha Tracer 900 direct competitor. We are waiting to see the tests for the motorcycle engine, that has been manufactured in China. If the engine is as good as the whole motorcycle, I think it will be the dominant in category.
Really like the XR's, but also do like the boxer engines. What about an boxer XR?

@nitrub MT-09 is a great machine, I mainly just want a change. I've used it as a primary bike for the last 3 years and I'd recommend it wholeheartedly. It is, to date, the best bike I've ever owned, and I've used it for daily commuting, touring Europe etc etc.
BMW machines just feel a level of polish above everything else however, and that fully spec'd F900r is phenomenal value for money.

@@Hemlck The 850GS was tested this week in MCN, they found the moment you hit fast roads the MPG dropped closer to 40 to the gallon, which is what you would expect IRL.
Not sure if f900 r , Cb650r or new street triple. The bmw seems to be pretty heavy and engine not made in Germany

Not gonna lie. I always thought Japanese were the best. But this made me rethink that and I have to say these bikes look absolutely stunning. If the xr900 comes at around 11 to 12 grand I might pull the trigger, but I doubt it
