Hi there, Just wanted to drop you a quick note. Thanks for the fairly comprehensive ride review on this motorcycle. I did some research on the different makes and models within this class of motorcycle, and kept coming back to the BMW. More to come I suppose. Thanks again as I don't rely on you tube content, but yours is fantastic!!! Thanks again and stay safe!!
Just bought this bike recently and loving every bit of it. Still breaking period so haven't tested to the full potential and dynamic pro. But overall build and ride quality is top-notch. Very easy to ride might be a little heavier but most of the weight at the bottom so nice center of gravity. It is an insanely balanced bike on low or high speed. Its TFT is just next level so much to play with. I named it SKY so I am in love with SKY :) The only downside I found is fewer after-market mods are available but overall no need to do anything extra to the bike except the tail tidy. Here in Canada it is really hard to find a base model available at the Dealers so with some accessories this can be little bit expensive but you can still order base model just need t wait for the delivery but even if it is a base model still is a lot of bike for it's price plus the BMW batch.

I've seen this bike at the dealership, looks good, but not great. I have also seen the Duke 790, which looks way better and I know has more power and less weigh. Probably the BMW is more reliable and more comfortable. Funny thing, the base F900R is more expensive here in Mexico than even the 890R (haven't seen it yet) and pretty close to price with the Street Triple RS 2020. @@hathaway.1166 does the F 900 R also have 4cyl?
3:52 It picked up well from a complete stop on 2nd gear. Not bad!
Damn, that bike looks like fun!
It looks more like the facelift of smaller BMW G310R
would prefer Z900 over it.
Aint no NUDA R!
That was a unicorn. Italian bike under Swedish badge owned by German BMW. :)
Thanks Adam, such a knowledgeable and skill full motorcyclist . You are my go to man for reviews. How would you compare this to the Triumph Scrambler XC?
What did he mean at the end that there was no question about Monster 821 vs. this bike? I'm assuming Monster all the way since it is so much more expensive, adjustable suspension etc. but just double checking!
Owning the monster and planning on getting the BMW this year i can tell you they're both great. The monster will always hold a special place for me since my first bike was a 696 but honestly you can't go wrong with either. Monster will run you 3k more but imo its worth it
That road is never going to be finished
It would be nice if you could do a walk around either at the beginning or the end of the commute and show us more details of the bike.
Now that the BMW launch this bike I don't know which one to buy :( BMW F900R or Honda CB650R . Which one would you recommend, and why ? I need help asp :))
See if you can test drive both 😁 then decide, tons of options on the bmw., Including an IMU for lean abs and tc...
Go with the Honda I really like the BMW it's a great looking bike but so is the Honda and the Honda will be cheaper and easier to preform maintenance on and get parts for.
Drive by Wire: An when people say “what do you ride?” You’ve immediately got a problem - look up the “Class Sketch” with John Cleese, Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett.
I look down on Hondas, but he looks up to BMWs...... you’ll know what I mean.
Honda 650r
I love stability control with TC. You can really floor the throttle out of the turn. Stability control mandated on all cars from 2012. Slowly moving to bikes
BMW have simply joined the competition with Yamaha's MT range and KTM's Dukes
Mit just simply but more finally. I would love them to get into the mid range 600s aswell
Is this bike good for beginners? thanks
Adam, how is the rider heat on this compared to the 790 duke?
hahhaha loved this one. Wondering during the last two blocks whether you would say - id buy or not.. Kept me waiting and almost around the end i thought oh well he will not say it.. then boom last take will i buy this bike :D :D lol great vid made me wanna buy this bike too!
Play the end again he comes on back and says he'll buy it
People do not listen to the manufacturers these days do not go 6000+ miles between oil changes that’s horrible . By the time the thing blows up in lol ready be yours so you can go buy a new one
Filtering at 40 mph, failing to indicate many times, going through red lights, I won't be watching your videos anymore.
The presenter seems more like a guy selling weed than a n motorcycle 🏍️ expert - just saying...
I just took one of these out today. They have strangled the fuck out of bikes these days with that euro 4 bollocks.
6:39 My man! Running red lights in pursuit of the perfect commute review!
