On the USB issue. If you paper tape over it and put a dab of rtv adhesive silicon you will make a USB bumper. 😂. I use silicon to anchor split coffee stir straw sections over my tiny whoop antennas to keep them out of the props. This should work, too.

I never Found any youtubers can reach 12 flight TIme with this Quad. Flywoo said it can reach 12 minutes on their website. IF it achieved by sacrifice the battery , i guess it shouldn't count . 😅

The difference in price was a surprise to me too. The BG link was removed, surely it will pop back up, well now not likely until after the holiday. No caddx is upset with me right now. :) It happens, no new caddx products for a while unless I buy them.I am going to try to watch some playoff baseball. I bought a playoff subscription to mlb tv.

@@KOrnhOliO1 With Devin Williams being out, that sure helps the bravos. Well caddx is mad and its likely my own fault. I released the polar camera video early. I didn't note their "release attention". Happens, not terrible concerned about it as over the years most of the companies have been upset. Some have even gone as far as I say I am "trying to destroy our company". Might be a translation issue there. My response is generally, "if I have said or shown something that isn't true please let me know".....crickets :)
Great video. Just got my Cinerace and having an impossible time binding to the remote. Have you set this I up in beta flight?
The binding process will vary greatly depending on the receiver in the quad, the radio/tx module and the protocol. If its expresslrs/elrs we have to flash to the same major version 3.x or 2.x. As well, if elrs I suggest using a binding phrase. I do have a video on elrs flashing and binding on the channel.
Awesome! I would love to see a review of the new betaFPV whoop flight controller with ELRS on it. It’s interesting they didn’t put a VTX on there but then again I’ve not been impressed by the VTX on their other whoop boards.
Mine just arrived.. just asking did you install prop screws? Or just tight fit is fine to do that full throttle and dive..
I didn’t use screws in this video but have since added them as I found the right fit has loosened up with use
Thank you for the video. I recently received CineRace20 V2 Neon Led Analog Pro ELRS (latest version). Everything is great (beeper is loose but I can deal with it). My only issue is flying time. I use 900mAh batteries and flying time is always below 8 minutes. Currently Flywoo advertises up to 15 minutes and on your video it is almost 10. I reduced VTX power to 200, LED strip is off. I fly slow indoors with radiomaster boxer. I have no idea what else I can do to increase time.
Very likely its the battery. Not all lipos are equal. Some might even be better for slower flights that last longer and other better for performance in more aggressive flight.
@@NickBurnsFPV Thank you for the answer. I have 4 new Flywoo batteries, that are recommended for this drone.... All 4 are giving the same time. I guess there is something in the config, but I cannot find it. I did not change much in it. Added few items on OSD, changed VTX frequency (on original one it gave terrible picture on SkyzoneSteadyViewX) and reduced VTX power.
@@EugeneShusterman It could also be the elevation or air environment. Only the pid tune would have much of an impact on flight time. By chance were any PIDs changed?
@@NickBurnsFPV Nope. PID are stock, out of the box. Only changes are OSD, VTX, "Craft name" and "Camera Angle"

Not every review is about me and if it fits my preferences. Most reviews are the opposite, show it so others can decide if it fits their need and preferences. I am not much for the slow cruising flights, and I don't fly to get a scenic shot, I prefer faster flight and more agility than any cinewhoop can offer. The closest cinewhoop to what I like is the geprc cinelog25.

I've heard from ppl that know way more than I do that it's just not worth it. Short flight times and the flight style just isn't as good apparently. Prob best to stick with an 0802 for these 65mm whoops

great review. Im the same way with my batteries (pull them down to 3.5V/cell when disarmed) and have never had issues with longevity or any of that. would of thought they would of used higher kv motors with this.
yes, I wonder if they used lower kv to boost the flight time. Flight time seems to be a "hotness" with some.

@@haydenblack967 Got analogic module on my dji goggles and bought mobula 6 & 7. Drone with vista are too heavy and I can't naked vista because I live in very hot country. I've the Shurikenwhoop 2" with vista, good to put my go2 on it and fly indoor for video shot but not very fun compared to mobula bros.

the DJI system doesn't support dbm or lq. We can get rssi.

The version you would need is the cinerace20 with the dji O3 and tbs crsf receiver. I see these options on the flywoo website.
between Crux35 Happymodel, which one will you pick, sir ?
For the purpose of just flying and having fun the crux35. I would only go cinerace if we wanted or needed prop protection.

Hi Nick, I was going to order cinelog25 today but now I just watched this video it got me rethinking. If you were to buy one of these? which one you'd pick, cinelog25 or cinerace20?
I would probably still have to chose the cinelog25, unless durability was a higher priority than performance. Cinerace2 will likely be more durable.

I would chose the cinelog25 over this unless the size is more important than performance. or maybe safety as this provides more prop protection than the cinelog series does.

Normally we would want to match the size of kv, in this case its 1203 3400kv.

@@VasylDemianov For gps to work very well, we generally don't want to bury it inside. Most have or other design a 3d printed mount for the gps module to mount outside the frame. In fpv most quads that have gps are "long range" quads.

Hey, I have been trying for the last hour unsuccessfully to unlock the VTX on this model. The instructions are unclear. It says to long press the power button for 10 seconds to unlock 40 channels and the max power. The “three color led flashes” are supposed to occur, but this never happens. Am I supposed to be further up in the vtx menu? What am I doing wrong here? If I hold down the button. I get a red and green LED that goes solid. And nothing ever changes. I have tried going "further up" in the menu but it is confusing, I don't feel like it's working.
Try disabling smart audio while you do the button press. Also, does yours come with smart audio as the protocol or irc tramp? Mine is irc tramp, but I have heard others needed to use smart audio, strange but might be worth a try. Often when I struggle, I do the button press and don't bother to follow or notice the led flashes, then I power cycle and see what the results are. In some cases I have had to make sure there is no power at all when I power cycle, no battery or usb. I presume you have the vtx table setup as well? I tend to do the vtx table first.
I should add I am just shooting from the hip as I don't clearly remember what I had to do to unlock it.
@@NickBurnsFPV Mine is IRC Tramp. I've unfortunately played the power cycle and check results game and have floundered around. Yes, there is a vtx table on it that came with it since it was bnf. I just tried disabling IRC tramp and doing the long button press to see if I could get anywhere but nope. I'm aware of one other person who right now has the exact same problem as me. We're both totally stumped. Thanks for your help, I know a lot of models pass through your way and I figured you might not remember exactly what you did to unlock it. Appreciate taking the time to respond and have a great rest of the weekend. Getting the feeling at this point it's defective. I have had just horrible luck lately with defective products.
@@NickBurnsFPV Hey! I tried it again this morning and it's unlocked now! I *never* saw the sequence of lights that they claim. But I think what worked was disabling tramp, waiting until the green light, then the red light went solid and then pressing again 'saved' it. 👍 I am not sure if it's running at full output power, I would have to check that but the raceband1 is finally unlocked.

I can certainly try. What is the receiver and what is the radio. What is the process your following to bind? Did the quad come with the receiver or did you manually add it?
@@NickBurnsFPV raido is jumper t lite with betafpv nano elrs module reciever came with the drone from flywoo the drone and nano tx module have been up graded to the new 2.0 elrs with binding phrase. I am newer to fpv but I try to follow the directions but flywoo has not been as user friendly as betafpv
@@yaksandbass what do you see in betaflight app? What lights on the rx? And the version is 100% the same? Check the wifi page of both the tx and rx. Does the model file have the internal rf turned off?
@@NickBurnsFPV i up graded the cinewhoop to express lrs 2.0 with a binding phrase and did the same with my betafpv Nano tx module and when i am plugged into beta flight i don't see any movement on the controls but when i unplug it says telemetry lost and i plug it back in it says telemetry recovered on my jumper t lite my betafpv hx115lr was working now it is not so i have to go back and try a couple of things. we will see what happens
@@yaksandbass sounds like we dont' have it wired right or the uart its wired to isn't on. The wiring goes from rx to tx and from tx to rx. Then we turn on the uart for those pads. RX1 Tx1, or rx2 and tx2 etc. They have to be the same numerical pad, we can't do rx1 and tx2. We also need crsf selected as the protocol.

how so? In a number of respects this is still a heavy 2inch quad, flight performance won't be that high.
Can you answer what is the range of this drone?
It will vary depending on the environment and the control link used. Generally we will lose fpv before control link. In some countries it is illegal to fly beyond visual line of sight or requires special "clearance". If you fly straight line of sight one could probably get 1-5km. If there is something between pilot and quad it could be much much shorter, or we might not be able to see in the goggle behind the object at all.

You are one of the main guys who really give a shake down when it comes to micros. I'm so interested but flywoo doesn't seem to have a good record when it comes to the durability. I hope this is tough enough for racing as their title implies.
time will certainly tell. I had a number of crashes trying to fly as aggressively as I could with the go2 camera on it.
I wonder why they went with a 4s build over 3s?
I don't know their decision making processes. My guess would be they are trying to maximize performance and flight time.
Could you share PID setting for this drone.. i have this one too but just 3 minutes battery for cinematic
The PIDS I am using are straight out of the box from the factory. If your flight time is low is it likely the battery, quality, care, health. It could also be elevation if your flights are at an extreme elevation.

I would need more information. Is it bound to the radio? If bound does the receiver page in betaflight show the sticks moving and moving properly? What is the throttle value shown in betaflight with the radio on and quad with battery plugged in? Has an arm switch been set? Do you get warnings in the osd when you arm. Do the props not spin? Do the props spin but on throttle up does it not lift off? Is the battery charged? What size of battery?

If you have a 2.5inch cinewhoop I don't think this would be of much use or different. Between those two the 1s baby nano would be a different flight experience.

It's advertised at 38g. For comparison, a 750mAh 4S Tattu is 84g... That's a biiig difference.
Are they using black magic, or pumping up the capacity because it's HV ? Or is the lower C-rating the reason ?

If he pack is really spec'ed as advertised, it'd be great for 4" micro LR quads, allowing to carry a naked gopro / Go2 while staying sub-250g with decent flight time ?
the 900mah 4s battery certainly isn't 34 grams. the 300mah is over 40grams. I suspect the typed spec is just wrong or a mistake of some sort.

I checked flywoo's website again, and as you suspected, this is the advertised weight of the 300mAh pack. They just copied/pasted the specs from the wrong battery...
As far as I could gather, the 900mAh pack is 90g.
@@triggermovies I can weight it when I get home tonight, but that sounds about right. The 900mah is smaller than my 4s 850mah from GNB/EMAX/RDQ/ETC, which is strange.

I did in season 1, I have since been one of the judges. Season 1 was difficult to manage the time to do the weekly challenges and also the other flying needed for reviews. I do enjoy getting to see so many of the videos.
