In 2020 I was happy to take several of the highest achieving young women in my daughter's senior class on college tours before the shutdown. All but one of them were very aware that their college plans were part of their life, and having children was also a part of their life that is important. At various times in her adolescence I was able to show my daughter on purpose at special moments, the beauty of women, and the gift it is to be a mother. Like, "don't miss this!!" This is feminism to me
We women have better contraceptives now, we have our freedom. Also television has helped more women become childfree as we are all seeing how awful childbirth is. We are more educated that we can choose a more interesting and happier life. We have choices. We aren't the property of men anymore.
Yeah, but woman’s life aren’t happier now because of xyz. The rates of anxiety, depression and usage of SSRI’s and other psychiatric medications is highest among middle aged modern women than any other cohort in any other time period. There is something deeply dissatisfying and alienating about the modern world for woman. Not having children does not yield the same level of happiness in women you are eluding to. Sorry
Dear Ms. Harrington, I just read your article on how western men are lionizing the Taliban in Kabul ! You state how young western men are against the woke culture, the LGBT community, the race discrimination myth theory, feminism culture & the so called white privilege theory in the west. Fine let’s discuss these items logically shall we !
