My warranty expired on my 2017 Porsche Macan which has 57,000 miles so I'm paying out of pocket to repair a oil leak from the timing chain housing cover. My car is currently at South Bay Porsche in CA. For my knowledge, what would be an approx average cost to perform the work, thank you

Hello I have the same issue where oil is seeping into the sparks plugs. Recommended to open the camshaft clean everything off and reseal the gasket. I was quoted 6.5 hrs of labor at $1050 and $377.90 for parts $1,460.
Parts include: oil separator, PVC, or breather Valve and Cam girdle reseal for a Porsche Macan 2017. No oil check engine light.

how much was total repair cost? replaced with same bolts or upgraded? considering buying macan turbos with 70-90k miles

@@jonasbaine3538 I had extended warrany, but the repair was so minimal that it was only $280 to replace the bolts. my deductable is 250 lol, but a turbo macan has more issues, depending on the year? if you have a good indy that you can take it to, I woulndt worry much, but macans are pretty relaible.

I have a 2018 S, mine started leaking early, like around 40k, its the 2 timing chain ones, both were broken, im at 60k and no leaks, replaced with the same aluminum bolts @@sduggs95
