This is fantastic, I can really seeing it shine in our neck of the woods. Smaller fields that planes do not want to do. And this seems a little more accurate.
Are you going to have them come back in and apply a cover crop in the corn in late august. Have him spread rye grass into the corn with granular spreader.
I’ve been using molasses on corn and beans for 3 years now. Along with zinc sulphate, manganese sulphate and boron powder. Mix it in a cone bottom tank and apply with fungicide. Only difference is we have helicopter do it because we are limited in Canada as to what we can apply by drones. I can see how drones are going to take over spraying in agriculture. Hopefully the regulations get relaxed up here to allow us to use them soon.
@@jonstevensmaplegrovefarms3754 that mix has been working great. I take a tissue sample before I apply to know what rate to apply at and then I take a tissue sample about a week or so later to know what the results of it was. I believe the added boron helps with kernel tip fill. I think the micro nutrients are key to maximizing the yield. Keeping them all balanced it the trick
@@jonstevensmaplegrovefarms3754 and only in camas do we have to be too safe. Why we can’t use the safety studies that are done by various American government agencies (who do extensive studies btw) and apply them here I don’t know.
I hosted him here several years ago. There's some videos on my channel if you go back far enough about 5 years. But it was for agriculture not politics. I can guarantee I would never allow him here for his campaign
@@jonstevensmaplegrovefarms3754 wow ! Is that wacko a farmer???? by the way I found your channel but a few years ago when I was trying to fix some hydraulic issues on my 4430 and I watched you rebuild an SCV. been here ever since always lovely content especially the Repair videos at that time. I was mechanic now I’m just a truck driver that does some farming on the side. I just bought a 4400 combine 213 head and a 443 for this fall any particular dues and doubts.
So at my farm there was about 50 politicians or people from like the DNR and the water quality you know all them kind of places He tries to be everybody's friend Hopefully the combined Treats you well

Yep. Let's hope it works.
You coming next Friday?!
@@jonstevensmaplegrovefarms3754 you bet Jon. I wouldn’t miss Minnesota’s premier soil event!!
That's nice corn. You big farmers sure have some fancy stuff there in the real farming country. 😁
@farawayfarm2520 down here in little Iowa!
Great looking corn and video
Thanks. My first time around a drone like that. Very cool experience
Keep us posted on those yields. Very curious.
I wonder how it would work spraying pastures? If it can stay out of powerlines you could spray it could spray at night when it's calm.

@JamesMcnichol-ss2oc no, I'm going to wait and see what happens with our fall.
I might be frost seeding a lot of rye
Thats was different. Be good to hear how that went, Jon
Give me a month for ears to develop, I will post results
How many 50th anniversery hay days shirts do you have ? Seems like you are always wearing one, you going this year ?
I have 3. It's weeks between videos, kind of funny how it lands on a haydays shirt day.
I get a chuckle out of it 🤷

@@JamesMcnichol-ss2oc how's that mix been working good for you? Kind of odd that Canada would be so strict on a drone
