Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure (Doragon Bōru Adobansu Adobenchā) is a Game Boy Advance video game based on the Dragon Ball manga and anime series. The game contains 30 playable characters. It contains five modes of play. The story of the game starts at the beginning of the series when Goku meets Bulma, and goes up to the final battle against King Piccolo.

@@thelifeofmuhurz Did you find all seven Dragon Balls in Extra Mode? If so you should be able to play every character in every level by pressing Select and choosing the Character option.

This game needs a remake or something. Heck, we need more games about the OG Dragon Ball as a whole
there is only about 10 maybe 20 og dragon ball game only four of which before the revenge of king piccolo which was the last og dragon ball that was official
the remake of this was revenge of king piccolo, but the reason they don’t make OG dragonball games, is because new fans don’t appreciate it. if super saiyans aren’t included they don’t care, which makes a little sense because who wouldn’t want to play as a super saiyan and do the cool new moves🤷🏽♂️. but i hate they don’t respect the old stuff, i love this game.

@@KingJadInfiniteHope the problem is that most of the world only watched dbz and dbs. In the 90s multiple channels didn't wan't to dub the OG dragon ball and when they did they only aired about 60 episodes with censorship.
The ''why we don't have more og db games'' is that the OG dragon ball isn't as popular as dbz
The heck, I finished and enjoyed the game without knowing most of these stuffs.

Mad props for still having a GBA, I still regret selling mine years ago. I've been using emulators for over a decade now but, it's just not the same feel as playing these on the original hardware.

I’m surprised this video exist. I’m so happy I love this game. 1:10 also that Krillin face I love it so much. Krillin went from a egotistic kid to a kinder kid, to a person who puts everything on the line before himself
This arc of dragon Ball really deserves more games based on it. I love Z but I'd love for more people to know about the OG adventures of Goku as a kid
This arc? this game goes over 5 arcs that being Hunt for the Dragon balls (pilaf), 21 Tournament, Red ribbon, 22 Tournament and Piccolo (but sadly no 23 tournament arc!)

In some stage there are hide characters icon that when you find them you unlock the character in question.

I'm from Latin America, and we get the whole series with the whole original soundtrack. But even when I grew up with that soundtrack, I have to say that Super Vegeta theme is badass.

I think there was a bug in the game where if certain characters (like Tao Pai Pai) get hit by Tenshinhan's Kikohou and Tenshinhan is in the air, it continues to damage the victim until Tenshinhan comes down. And given that Tenshinhan can fly, you can basically do this to do the 1HKO.
No one can deny, the theme is banger.

I remember there a glitch in the game if you use tri beam an opponent there a chance the attack will just keep going until they reach zero HP.
We need a remake of this game for the switch updated graphics and more stuff to do i love this game I’m still upset we ain’t get to play as teenage goku to fight the last tournament.

Extra Mode. You can literally play every Character in the Game during Extra Mode. Even the most random Enemy that appear in this Game. But I think you must collect the seven Dragon Balls in Extra Mode first.

Jackie Chun is only available in 1v1 mode and Yamchu can only be played through mods just like Blue, Drum and Tamborin.
