Mr Butler in my opinion is one of the greatest Lyricists of all time ever.

It always puzzled me why people thought Sabbath were satanic. Most of Geezers early lyrics were about god and the evil that people do, not satan. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The guys in Metallica before a gig, as a prank told Cliff Burton that Geezer Butler was in the crowd. Probably the only time Cliff freaked out and lost his cool

He's my bass hero, not because of his skill, but because of his humbleness. He wrote lyrics (Wheels of Confusion, specifically) that resonated with me in my formative years. Thank you for being you, Geezer.

Underrated only by those who don't know music. An Icon to the rest of us. Geezer is one hell of a musician and person. May you find piece and happiness for many, many , many more years.

Geezer’s words and bass playing has meant the world to me for a long time. Thanks for this interview.

A gentlemen, a lyrical genius who wrote most of Sabbath's greatest tracks of all time and one of history's most talented and under-rated bassists. An icon.

Thanks folks! I love Geezer and his music has been the soundtrack to my life since I discovered Black Sabbath when I was 12. It’s so nice to see a little more of him as a human and husband and not just a heavy metal god 😊 You’re all lovely, thank you for having him on ❤️

How did Geezer Butler get surrounded by a group of pretty ladies? Butler is a master lyricist and has taken bass playing to a complete new level of sound. Check his live performance of Sign of the Southern Cross. Never heard a bass make those types of sounds before.

There is not enough I could say to describe the impact of Geezer on my life as a writer, bassist, and fan of music. Good day to you all.

I ended up here because of a link that appeared when I found a video about Geezer’s N.I.B. bass solo (sheet music) from their first LP. Funny to see Geezer with women. Back in 1970 when I was 11 years old and learned that song I thought Geezer is such a badass dude he would never even talk to girls, which are so terrible, giggle all the time, and think they are so smart. What a disappointment then that he even got married. But he has survived and ended up with four lovely ladies on a podcast, who would've believed.

Awesome! Geezer Butler..Black Sabbath forever..I have been a Black Sabbath fanatic since I was eight in 1980. I have seen the band 26 times live and met the original band with Geezer, Tony, Ozzy and Bill in 1998 and Ozzy again in 2001. My favorite band ever. I have roomfuls of memorablia of Black Sabbath and KISS, my other favorite band.

I'm thinking Geezer was somewhat of an oddity, being a vegetarian in 1950s-60s working class Birmingham. Thank you, Terry for making all that beautiful, game-changing music!

What he said about BS ending on top. He was absolutely correct. That performance was so outstanding. Love BS.
