Superb bass playing Brummie who never forgot his routes. 100% genuine feller and a massive contributor to one of the greatest bands this world has ever seen or is ever likely to see. I love the story that The band were coming home after a gig, after recording their album, but were unsure if it was out or not. That night John Peel came on the radio, saying '...and now a band called Black Sabbath...' They all thought 'Oh God we have to change our name again. But it was their music coming out of the speakers!I would love to hear Geezer elabotare on that!
Interesting to hear him speak of that footballer he admires. It was odd to find out that my hero has his own hero.

Before I saw him interviewed (I've seen him interviewed before too) I thought that the bassist of Black Sabbath would be a real hellraising, harem-come-skit character and I was surprised how mild mannered and respectable he was; it was like hearing someone interview my dad. The same's true here as well
Gees I lived bevington Road it is next too Victoria Road I could see villa park from our house like like you went to a match one day and I was hooked that was in1959 still going down now till I die lots of love up the brummie and the villa and the aston boys
@Alan Smith - massive respect brother. God bless Black Sabbath Tony, Geezer, Ozzy, Bill . The music sounds like the factories around Aston and Birmingham and reflected our lives . Tough resilient people who would give what little we had and great respect for our community.

They are good guys who actually care about animals. Who are you? A random person hating on a man who is doing a good thing for innocent animals. Not only that he's the lyrist of Black Sabbath. Geezer Butler is a smart man, and has probably put more thought of the suffering of animals and philosophy of morality more than you ever have. Don't be a hater.
