I love Stochelo's whole approach to the song. The entire first half is nearly note for note Django's break from the 1937 QHCF recording. Then he goes on with his own stuff for the rest of the song, which is, of course, full of great tone, power and taste. But he pays homage to Django first.
@williamanesbitt I couldn't agree more, it's fantastic. This entire concert is a complete dedication to the man himself, and they certainly picked the perfect tunes for it!

Stochelo rosenberg is a gypsy god. This is sheer brilliance. He has all the chops of any top class modern guitarist, but refrains from taking every opportunity to showcase his skill in favour of playing what is expedient for the song. Classic
