Standard AC/DC adapter found on most synths, not sure about voltage. Yes you can sample this just like any other instrument. It has left and right mono outputs that you can connect to a sampler or computer. M-Audio for example has some USB adapters for this purpose.
Hi there, I love your ms2000 demo! really nice. But i have a question. I totally in love with the pad sound you play at 4min58. Ive been looking for a half year to recreate this pad with my microkorg. Is this a preset setting of the ms2000 and so how is it called? If not is it possible to give me the settings in private. I really love that sound and im desperate i hope u can help me. THumbs up for the movies love them and ignore the haters! grtz Andreas
@RogueRotting360 Yes i do... i have played both, and opted for the Virus TI2, it has better filters, and a warmer sound all round. The MS2000 is a 1st generation VA synth, sounds are really brittle and thin, still a nice synth, but YES the Virus IS definately "less digital" sounding than the Virus IMO... each to their own ;o)

What exactly is the point of keyboards like this? I don't get it, if you're going to model it anyway just go for a computer with a controller, which will always be a lot more flexible. This is literally a computer designed to do nothing but this. Would you buy a computer which only ran Word? OF course not, why the heck buy this?
The point is music creation, sound and creativity in general. This comes in many shapes and forms enabling one to find the application that suits them the best in order to express oneself. This is not a computer...nor is it compatible to a PC running word only...thats funny though...its a digital synth...there are many out there..some good, some bad...it's all up to the individual to decide on what they value the most. I've used a 'computer with a controller' for over a decade... I also own this synth and a number of others...but that is an individual choice.
because its more fun than staring at a computer screen,its more robust,not everyone is comfortable with computers in music especially in a sweaty live situation...its more to do with fun however .....
sbilts But that's my point, that is a computer shaped like a keyboard... And I have seen plenty bands playing with a small laptop + controller at very, VERY sweaty dives. Heck it's a cheaper solution than this..
I know which I prefer...Hardware Synths for music and laptops for sending emails,ebay,youtube ,facebook,porn etc...they are too fragile and are cold...I would sooner see a musician grappling with old analogue synths that sound amazing than twiddling an Iphone on stage anyday....I do get your point though Marvio.....
