Hey folks! Here's my materials list:
- Paper from Strathmore
- Watercolors (mostly) Winsor & Newton. A few from Holbein and Daniel Smith
- Poster Colors by Nicker (can easily use good ol' Winsor Newton Gouache, which is what I usually use anyway)
- Brushes (mostly) Escoda rounds, various sizes
- Big scratch on my face at the end courtesy of my 2-year-old son
Very nice painting and explanation. When I see you doing it, it all makes sense!
Thanks for sharing your art and expertise!
Great video!
Oh my gosh art dad approves
Takes one to know one 🫶🏼
Thank you both for all you do.
That was INCREDIBLE!!! Geez I learned so much in this than in most art channels over the years!!! You are SENSATIONAL!!
Yay, more Marco painting in the reals!
The out of focus segments actually helped seeing the large shapes and colors. Such a cute painting, and as always, great explanations!
I can't say enough how much I appreciate your uploads, I learn something new every time I watch one of your videos.
Love you Marco
Here I am obsessively trying to keep colours pure in my palette/mixing tray, and then there's me watching Marco at 1:03 in horror lol. I guess it really is proof that value is king and colour is secondary.
Thank you so much for this kind of video !! Something clicked in my mind when you said that every artist should train his muscle memory to avoid repetition. Straight after that I compared some "bad" abstract paintings with good ones and i tried to apply that in my work. I immediatly seen the difference
I’m working on a digital medium but I’m really happy this came out since I’m studying light and color in art at the moment!
Best instruction on broken color on UA-cam.
One of the best art channels here on UA-cam! 🎉
Your way of doing watercolor sketches has got to be my most favorite part in this channel that inspired me to paint from real life references, I'd love to buy your book as part of my art collection in the future 💙
this is so wonderful, would love to see more watercolour videos from you!
These are my favorite videos from you. I miss your traditional painting and plein air videos, but love everything you put out
So great. Every sentence had so much knowledge, experience and information. Thank you, Marco!
I learned so much every time I watch you make art! Thank you so much
Such a clear explanation of how to use color in the painting process and during a practical example is really great, thank you very much
These are my fave videos from you! Traditional art like painting
Love this. I love wet media but I've always hated the weak contrast that watercolor seems to create. But your pictures don't seem to suffer from that. I assume the answer is in the gouache but I've not had the courage to try it myself.
Dear Marco I find your art and videos both inspiring and captivating. Best wishes from Argentina
Thanks for that) I bought my first watercolour sketchbook yesterday and now i'm ready to try your method) Thanks so much!
gee, you are doing so many commercial pushes here like original television and am radio stations do. you are excellent instructor coach and very knowledgeable certainly others thank you for your clarity.
Thx, i've enjoyed it very much. I still remember you giving me your Photoshop Brushes many years ago 😀
so beautiful Marco. thanks again for the lesson
This is so cool, I love the deviation from the original photo. You make reality look even more beautiful from within the painting
listening to you seriously makes me feel nostalgic when I sat in calc class and undetood nothing
Clear and beautiful as always !
Thank you for the tape tip! And it was a pleasure to see your process of the drawing
It's always wonderful to get another watercolor/gouache sketching session from you!! I personally love these videos for their insight and the fact that I'm practicing watercolor too. And that was a great tip for pulling tape darn I GOTTA save that!
Great tutorial! Thank you Marco! I would wish a digital version of that painting ….

Amazing piece and very helpful video!! Best combo
I really enjoy your videos...it's a lot of information, but I think I'm catching on to some things. Thank you!
Watched your lightbox expo video earlier today. Now this. Can't wait to see what you might be cooking at creature art teacher

you make it look so easy lol really amazing work I will try and see how easy it is, thank you so much 🙏
I love the tip at the end of the video.
Can you please make a video on how to choose a color scheme for a picture? I especially struggle with choosing color for the background!
Great video as always! I got to try your masking tape tip.
You teach how to and what to observe
Fantastic video! Lots of useful info and a gorgeous painting,, thank you!

Nice to see another video from you
Amazing painting! ❤
Marco, THANK YOU!~ I love your channel and your ability to teach with so much detail and great advice.
I am subscribed and looking forward to learning more! ~
Nice living Colors. You help me a lot with your UA-cam vidéo, thanks.
love your tradional media work
You are a great teacher.
Great video, however do watch out for the sponsor. They had more than one privacy incident where they sold their users' data they said would not be shared with anyone. Which is probably not ideal when you're offering therapy = people share a lot of very sensitive information through your site.
I’m two minutes in, I’m guessing the sponsor is better help? If so, another thing to note is that their therapists might not all be licensed
Thanks for the info on this
Taking notes ✍️
Thank you so very much for this video! I learned so much!
No building is more fun to paint, nor has more individual character than a lived in house.
Wow that's so cool. Can you please make a get started guide for digital artists how trying out acrylic paint for first time?
Amazing video
Superb video , as always
What an amazing sketch! Im in love with your way of capturing liveliness!
Im curious: how do your pencil sketch doesnt muddy down your colors. Did you use a fixate spray before painting?
Greetings from germany!
Pure GOLD
ahhh and I thought that I will see the step by step process of the painting I’ve bought from a while back :)
Insane video as always, youre too gooddddd
would love a video of inkwash technique
Brilliant!
So good …. 👏👏
Awesome ❤
looking good
Careful about working with better help, look into their lawsuits.
Somehow I never thought about mixing watercolor with white gouache to make it opaque. Seems so basic, yet I didn't come up with it
Thnx for a spray trick!
I like this.
I thought I was an idiot because even when I tried to make a group of non-pattern shapes, I couldn't. Now I know it's something that actually takes practice xD
Your videos are pure gold Marco, Thank you so much
Hi, Marco. Can I request a high key color tutorial? :D
Anyone know if you can use watercolour brushes on the poster paint without damaging them?
you can!
@@marcobucci thanks!
Difficult but amazing
I always have a problem making the tree part
It never looks natural
I can't have a pallette like that 😢 molds will grow
Hi sir,
I'm a bcom student it's only two months to finish my final year... It's obvious that every one ask the same question," what's next plan" first of all I even don't know why I took bcom...and of course I'm not good in studies...but I love to draw since my childhood... But still Im not that expert...I know that I will definitely will learn ...now I want to become a digital artist...I want to learn but I don't know what to do next....even someone ask I just say I want to become a digital artist but I don't know a proper planing....
If you read this message could you please tell me and I know that my English is so boring...sorry sir for that...
last
Bellissimo
this reminds me of James Gurney's process a little bit.
I buy the CHEAPEST electrical tape, they work just fine.
BUT
dont leave them over night on the paper.
STICK IT TO YOUR CLOTHES FIRST
your art lesson are great. your sponsor is not.
I’ll take the latter into consideration, thank you
I swear I read sketching in oil… smh
it's so inspiring just watching you work !
Please, never work with BetterHelp again. Its a genuine afront to therapy and every time i see it it makes me physically ill. I recommend looking into their case with the FCC for more context.
