Hey folks! Here's my materials list:
    - Paper from Strathmore
    - Watercolors (mostly) Winsor & Newton. A few from Holbein and Daniel Smith
    - Poster Colors by Nicker (can easily use good ol' Winsor Newton Gouache, which is what I usually use anyway)
    - Brushes (mostly) Escoda rounds, various sizes
    - Big scratch on my face at the end courtesy of my 2-year-old son

Here I am obsessively trying to keep colours pure in my palette/mixing tray, and then there's me watching Marco at 1:03 in horror lol. I guess it really is proof that value is king and colour is secondary.

Thank you so much for this kind of video !! Something clicked in my mind when you said that every artist should train his muscle memory to avoid repetition. Straight after that I compared some "bad" abstract paintings with good ones and i tried to apply that in my work. I immediatly seen the difference

Love this. I love wet media but I've always hated the weak contrast that watercolor seems to create. But your pictures don't seem to suffer from that. I assume the answer is in the gouache but I've not had the courage to try it myself.
