The best thing about truck nuts is that it's always the performatively masculine guys who get them, but since they are not standard issue and do not come on the truck straight from the factory, technically speaking, the truck is transgender. I love that Cariad appreciates the LotR movies so much that she watched the special features but she either didn't realise or failed to mention as to why the man, who made plastic chain mail for 7 years, would never trade that experience for anything in his life.
It's because the entire crew and cast became a family over all those years, in a homogeneous, respectful environment, brimming with inspiration, and a project that built on almost nothing but trust and they got rewarded for it.
Because financial gain wasn't the main objective, if at all.
Look at the greatest movies of all times. Those with the lowest budget, with the most controversial ideas and plots, were those that broke records and changed many people, even at their core.

@@kevindunn2663 ermmm the LOTR movies were severely underfunded and had revert to alternative creative methods (turns out, to their benefit) in order to save costs.
The entire trilogy had less funding than many stand-alone bullshit Hollywood movies today and with technology that required much more effort/work back then.
Technology with which they still achieved insane results which are more than respectable, even opposed to today's creations, more than 20 years later.
