I love my ol 1965 Revelation model 225 in .222 Remington. It’s got a vintage weaver k4. I’ve also got a vintage weaver k6. Those 50 grain Speer and 52 grain Speer HPs show out mighty fine in my old rig too.
The 222 never fails to impress. It's a cartridge that is too often over looked for performance. Great video!
Wowza that third group. Thanks to your vids I found a mint Remington 222 with the bull barrel from the 70’s I believe. Got lucky. She shoots incredible with Hornady 50 grain. I’ll never sell it
I tried 2 powders with 4 step ladder with those 52gr. My 223 varmint barrel got 1 3/8" best group doing 3250fps to 3370fps. 40gr V max gets consistent 5/8"-11/16" groups so set the 52gr aside for now. Thanks for sharing!

I had good luck with Speer 52gr match w/ BLC2 just touching the lands, loaded for a friend. I do not have a 222. Factory 700 barrel but an older one. Shot very well.

And every single one of them is sponsored. Who tee who claims he just some regular old dude like us. But he isn't. I watched his stuff before sponsorships. I don't watch anymore cause he fails to tell people he is sponsored and that's how he makes his money not from UA-cam. And hickok has big sponsors too he gets guns and ammo sponsored as well as many others.

@@trentsnaza3372 when you got sponsors like an ammo sponsor you gotta push their products. CD 59 reloads. So he ain't gonna push some factory ammo. And a lot of guys do UA-cam as a hobby such as CD and don't want the hassle of pleasing sponsors. And if you watched who tee who before the sponsorship from Remington you'll know a lot of his rifles group ammo better than they do with Remington. I've seen him say oh my rifle groups this Remington better than any other ammo which is false.

Love that ol rifle cd…went up on stripjob with some buddies yesterday and shot ol fn spr at 800 and no problemo….168gmm from Wally World….buddie has big barreled 6.5 with 36x razor and lot different from my 15x viper…hell Walmarts got .222 in Remington right now….thanks bud…matt

That 52 gr hp was my stanard bullet for 22-250 loads. Bought em in the 1000 pack.

Sounds good on paper. Myself, I got my head wrapped around a Ruger gen2, 22 ARC, slip it in to a Boyds stock. But 1st need to compare 22arc verse 6arc ballistics. just for late season coyotes.

Me too…I load the 95gr v max in mine and got high as 3666fps before backin down round 3550fps to ease up on my brass…rem mag primers been doin good too…h4350..2.70”oal..carbon 2020waypoint
The PRC isn't doing well lately. Reloader 25 is thee powder of choice, and it's not exactly growing on trees right now. But I'll keep playing with it.
@@cavedweller1959 I’d love to try couple the rl’s but have retumbo,h1000,magpro,n560,and ol standby h4350 that does good 130s and below…magpro does excellent cd if you stumble across some…loadin 143eldx blems as I type with 55gr of retumbo for 1” congregations…✌🏻

Have had great success with these. 3/4” at hundred out of a gas gun I have set up for varminting. These will blow up PD’s out to 200. Great on gophers as well.

This is a first. Dorfman Pacific Co. Bought my 1st one at Wall Drug, Wall SD, over 40 years ago. It shows no model, but I believe they should name it the CD59.
What brand of barrel did you rebarrel your rifle with?
Shilen, 22", 1 - 14 twist. 1 step heavier than factory. Should have gone 1-12" twist.
