my life is forever changed! like if my life was a time traveling movie, me watching this video would be a very important turning point. thanks cubeman! 👍
If you want smooth zoom scrolling similar to a track pad but with a mouse. Hold control and the middle mouse button - move the mouse and you will get a similar effect (smooth camera zoom)
Hey that means a lot. I've actually been getting a lot of complaints that i speak too unclearly. So, your comment has come in at a perfect time. Appreciate it
You’re videos are superb. I mean, not only do I get genuinely useful tips that I can deploy straight way, but I’m entertained in the process. Really funny and clever. Thanks so much for creating these.
Addon Trick: You can now use user script folders. I placed one on dropbox and now can use my standard addons in all Blender versions AND across Computers. You can have multiple. Not all addon works that way, but 95%.
It is isn't it. I felt stupid adding the checklist point at first. Coz you know, it's so robotic to do that in a creative situation. But I'm glad PPL are liking it. Also it means you probably watched till the end, which i also appreciate 😂.
I genuinely wish that I found your channel much sooner. you are doing god's work. thanks so much for all the useful information. you even managed to answer some questions i had for the longest time and couldn't figure out.
Thank you so much for this Stache. A request: could you kindly make a video on your render checklist? I understand many of the items on the list but have no clue about others. Thanks in advance!
Thank you for pointing out how some tutorials need to enlarge the UI! Even with a 41" screen I have to squint sometimes to see WTH people are clicking on so damn fast. Both "Cttl+MM up-and-down" and "Cttl+NUM+" and "Ctrl+Num-' work to zoom in both the 3D viewport and the 2D editors, but User Preferences' Interface tab has 'Scale Resolution' so the text and icons in all work spaces are bigger. (The mouse gives a smooth zoom like the trackpad you were referring to.) Now if only we could get the other channels to use that.
Thanks for the tips, but i have a question about the blend.1 files, it's so frustrating like for each project i have 3 to 4 files, and i want to have only one file for it, which ones should i delete? Because sometimes there are missing textures and stuff so i just don't touch it and it keeps piling up.
Delete the blend1 files. And the missing textures are not because of deleting them. That's for sure. To pack the textures into the blend file itself, click on file>external>automatically pack resources
I have no joke been using Blender for a year or so now and consider myself competent. HOW IN THE HOLY FUCK DID I MISS THE / KEY SHORTCUT? WHAT THE HELL?! Amongst other things. Really dig this series and how you present it, many thanks.
Again, amazing video!! I knew most of these just like the other one but I can't thank you enough for explaining the simplify feature 😭I just turned it on and it's amazing. Do you have a discord or something?
Heyyy. Glad it helped. A discord server? No. I can't manage that right now. But you're free to ping me anytime on instagram or discord dms if you'd like.
if you model planes another tip for ya it the button for inset and then press indivigual its gona help you make the canopy on smtn like the b29 aloot easyer
Never buddy. Never ever. Tried mesh machine for a while. Got overhwelmed by it. And stopped using it. I keep my modelling process as simple as possible. Simple extrusions, insets, bevels and booleans are more often than not enough for my use case.
@@stache_obj thanks! Maybe I’m the only one. But I was OBSESSED with your isometric rooms. If you ever have time, I think some of the beginners that watch your videos would love a tutorial on making one. Just a thought! I know you probably have 10000 video ideas. Take care!
@@killrat3D I'm definitely gonna do that. just have a few more video ideas that i wanna get out of my system first. but i promise i'll make one soon. maybe a month or two--and i can get to it. thanks for understanding. appreciate all the kind words 🫂
Do you have more tips for Optimization? When using a lot of Assets the Scene usually gets very loaded and slow... (Physics Preview without having to render it, as example) Thanks for the Video :)
I think for physics or simulations, it is always advised to just bake it. Maybe try switching from GPU compute to CPU for physics, that sometimes helps. If not that, i think in the timeline view there is a playback drop-down on the top left corner. I think it has an option to optimise payback. Try that. I can't remember exactly what it is. But tryn look it up. If you can't find it. Let me know and I'll do a thorough research from end.
Bro whats your render settings, beacuse when ever i try to render its full of messi noice, and if i increase the samples it is taking ages to render, so can please provide your full render settings Edit :- and i really loved your 1st part tutorial thumbnail, and i never get that kind of lighting, please make a video on lighting tutorial 🙏
I think you either need to make your hair thicker. Or just need more samples and resolution in your render. I'm gonna make a lighting tutorial soon too 😁
So how much hard drives does one need to do 3d seriously? You should do a video demonstration of how to delete every everything that is in a blend file
I think it all depends on how much you wanna store. If you think a blender file is useless to you and it has no important assets in it, you obviously will delete it
Dude no lie, these tips are super useful. Like super advanced but necessary. Everyone should be told these things before they even start. Ok back to yakisoba.
Really. I mean i just made it for fun. Glad it's genuinely useful to PPL. Thanks pigumon. Also, that dp is nightmare fuel. I don't know how I'm gonna sleep tonight
I've never seen a blender video with more personality or shockingly compact useful information. love what you've done
Aww. Appreciate you shovel salesman. I hope to buy a shovel from you someday now, just to return the favor
@@stache_obj but the biggest thing - using an 3D mouse nobody says. this mouses are not cheep... but it will chance everything !
I enjoy not only the presentation style but the voice is so very soothing especially when I am banging the keyboard with my head

@@stache_obj yeah man, for real. is there any way i can support you? do you have paypal or something?
Oh no. You don't have to do that. I appreciate your kind words. They are more than enough. You just saying you wanna support me makes me happy.

You know what. That's not a bad idea. How about i take few more weeks and build that list up and then make a video. How about that?
