Hi! i've been there with my husband 15 years ago. I cannot forget that beautiful spectacular amazing place ! tears drop down on my face cause my husband has gone to the Heaven two years ago.. please love husband and wife each other ! Life is too too..short! from JP alone
Statistics tell them only 5% of visitors drop below the rim....this was astonishing to hear! I didn’t realize few people do. I hiked into the canyon 20 years ago but it’s truly unforgettable. The Canyon speaks to you. It gives you this realization of the power of nature, of life, of Gods majesty and our fragility, it is truly humbling. Beautiful video, thank you! If you ever think of going into the Canyon...go but with respect and preparation.
I visited the Grand Canyon for the first time this past May and I was genuinely breathaken. I have never had something take my breath away like it did. I can't wait to visit it again some day!
I love Grand Canyon. Thank you for your efforts to protect the people from the canyon, to protect the canyon from the people and to protect the people from each other.
Thanks for the in depth vid of Phantom Ranch. It brings back great memories of my own trip 40 years ago. Amazing how few changes if any were made over the span of 30 years between my trip and your vid taken 10 years ago, everything looked the same. My favorite memories of Phantom Ranch was soaking our weary legs and feet in the clear waters of Bright Angel creek and our evening meal consisting of the best beef stew I've ever had in my life, along with the most awesome homemade biscuits ever.
I had the privilege of visiting this stunning beauty on Feb 2021. The first time I saw it, I couldn’t believe how amazing this place is. Take the time to visit the Grand Canyon, before is to late.
Nothing is more than nature. This is how humans, wildlife, and everything were evolved. We have to appreciate, embrace, and protect this. Just so amazing!
Superb!! I visited the Grand Canyon 27 years ago and stood in awe at its beauty and majesty. It filled me with a sense of humility and appreciation of God's creation. I vowed then to return someday and am planning a visit when I visit Arizona in September this year (2021) , covid permitting. Cant wait to see it again and to take my wife who has never seen it. Looking forward to seeing this fabulous wonder again!! Alan, U,K.
After THREE separate visits (three separate vacations), to both Rims, so much had to be left unseen, that at LEAST another two trips are calling me back. A MAGNIFICENT PLACE indeed.
I grew up in Mesa, Arizona. Been to the Grand Canyon many times, even camped on the rim of the canyon and woke up to snow on our noses. I've since moved away but am getting ready to come back home for a week for my brother's wedding. Can't wait to show my kids the beauty of the canyon up close.
As i walked up to the south rim allowing my eyes to slowly approach the fading edge of the canyon, what appeared before me, unfolding like book yelling its own pages, was a sight that nearly made me fall to me knees and left me momentarily breathless.
Finally made it to the North Rim in mid August. Absolutely spectacular! Had it not been for all the wild fires in California, everyone could've enjoyed it so much more. Only YOU can PREVENT FOREST FIRES!! Always look forward and enjoy every trip to the Grand Canyon!
Lucky enough to visit 3 times 1st visit was with a helicopter flight from tuscyon clear blue skies on this magical flight.preserve the canyon, protect it !!!!! Love it.miss you so much !!! John
Fantastic video and excellent, motivating commentary by Stephanie Sutton! Wow, the beauty of the Grand Canyon cannot be put into words. Next time I go I will be descending below the rim to explore! Thank you NPS!
Extraordinary video! Beautiful and insightful. Kudos to the producers. Stephanie Sutton is a rock star! I so appreciate hearing the story from a Ranger's perspective. Having hiked down into the Canyon I also appreciate that there is no cable car or elevator to bring more than the 5% of visitors down there. One must earn that experience through the hard work of hiking in and out. One of the reasons the canyon below is as clean, and calm and peaceful as it is, is because taking the time and making the effort rules out 95% of visitors by self-selection. If you're a disabled visitor, that's a different story - but still not a reason to put in a cable car.
I’ve been on a multi day rafting trip thru the Grand Canyon, or ‘The Big Ditch’... it is so beautiful photos or videos do it no justice, you have to see it from being down on the Colorado River...it was a retirement present to myself and I enjoyed every day...I want to do it again someday at a different time of the year...✌️💕🌺
Actually trading Forex has not been easy, ever since I started trading I have Blown my account thrice, Had several mental breakdown because i was not using accurate strategies, Secondly no professional trader to back me up! I even almost gave up in trading Not until I got in contact with Mr Ben on whatsapp:(601)227-3847, now i earn $11,000 weekly with his genius strategies, I really appreciate his good works and can't help but let others know about it. .
Really happy that I visited Grand Canyon, several other canyons and national parks in 2019. Would be there this year too if borders with EU would be open. Nature there is just amazing.
I've been to the Grand canyon back in 1988 coming home from California back to Oklahoma. It was a dream come true for seeing it in person than in history books. It was Awesome seeing it.
If you visit the Grand Canyon, find a way to get down into the Canyon whether hiking or float trip. During Spring Break 2017, took Troop 54 BSA on a Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim hike (4-5 days). A never to forget memory! There are shorter hikes down into the canyon. Pandemic and back country reservations be willing, we will be returning during Spring Break 2022!
Beautifully composed video! The message it spreads is equally beautiful. I don’t think that my 2nd visit to Grand Canyon was less interesting. It is like reading the same book in different fashion doesn’t bore you.In fact , it aroused a deep sense of gratitude and respect for the nature.
It's a big place, why would you want to read the same book or visit the same place when there is so much territory to explore? No two visits need be the same, it would be like returning to Europe just to stay at the same hotels.
This is a beautiful explanation along with the limited views and habitats within the Canyon. I must visit this Canyon. I would take it all in. I understand that.
I experience the sun rise and sun set over The Grand Cannon Amazing view never saw so many colours of gold , brown , rust ,orange , red , orange , anyone thinking of visiting the cannon plan well !!!!
We flew over the grand canyon on the way to a layover in vegas to denver, looks so much better in this video. Going to vegas in march and have to go to the grand canyon!

yes the canyon speaks to you !
Another factoid, only 1% of visitors actually make it to the bottom. I'm proud to say I was a one percenter in that respect, lol.
I visited the Grand Canyon for the first time this past May and I was genuinely breathaken. I have never had something take my breath away like it did. I can't wait to visit it again some day!
Let's go there together

This is something everybody should see once in their lifetime

You make it seem so small yet you would need a lifetime to explore the base of it
I Love The Fact that its Protected And I'm sure That you have the best job of going exploring Day By Day in the Grand Canyon!
Been here twice, flying from half of the globe to visit this majestic beauty ...
Watching this feels like a little vacation :)

I have never been outside Europe and I dream about visiting the grand canyon. It seems to be one of the most beautiful places on the planet
I had nothing to say about the wonderful sight. The wonders of nature seem to grow me up

Nicely summed up "it is not just a canyon, it is the Grand Canyon". It says it all.
America is such a beautiful nation with many amazing places to see. Need about 3 or 4 separate trips to fully experince all of it
Glorious, it gives credit to a designer. It's spectacular.

Tell me your here after seeing the TikTok post about the temple at 7:27 in the video! What is that exactly?
To me it looks like an Ancient Greek temple
I would say it sure looks like a man man structure to me. Wish we could get additional footage of this. Someone fly a drone in there and check it put.
@@eric052370 Drones aren’t allowed in NP
