- A little more driving 1988 for y'all! I was 17 in 1988. I was a KID! (I'm 46 now as of 8-12-16) I have a bunch of videos of my life in 1988.
This is my MOM driving the 1983 Mercury Marquis around on Azuza st to Amar. We were moving to th condo at 2206 Montana St, West Covina California
Another clip is at the LAX Los Angeles airport 1988! Mom was going to Guadalajara Mexico

Ah..the days when you could go back to gate at the airport. It didn't matter if you were a passenger fly on the plain or a loved one picking someone up at the airport.

It's funny to see how most cars were so boxy during this era. I can think of maybe the Volkswagen Beetles that were curvy at this time. Nowadays, almost all cars are curvy, but occasionally, I will see a boxy car, every now and then. The boxy cars I still see, nowadays, are typically rare old cars that are few and far apart from each other.
Does anyone remember a place called kiddie land in La puente? Next to the old hacienda seap meet where fallas is?
