@hockeytraining is it just me or do you play with a short stick? Where does your stick hit standing up straight? Trying to figure out if I should shorten my stick a bit to speed up hands.
I’ve tried them on before, at first it fells like you’re so off balance, but after a little you’ll get the hang of it. Now for the price, I think it’s around like $300 or something like that, but in my opinion you should buy it if you can afford it but if you can, go for it.
@@hockeytraining do you find a huge difference from regular inline to marsblades ? I'm currently in regular bauer inlines and am wondering if it's really worth all the money to switch over to marsblades?
I think gaining some weight can't hurt at all. It will really benefit you a lot for hitting etc. and I've seen some guys on the fairly heavy side who still move really quick on ice.
Depends on how much weight you gained and if that’s mostly muscle or fat , and if it’s muscle is beneficial specifically for hockey?, not powerlifting ect..
Yup. It will feel a bit different for when you do use a puck since I feel a ball has some spin on it that you have to fight a bit, but you're still working on the fundamentals of stickhandling. 🏒

It goes to my mouth when I'm on skates. Longer than the average player I'd say
Hey how much of a difference do you feel using marsblades vs regular for these drills? Is it worth the price tag?

If you do it in the right way with a hockey workout program and nutrition plan you will most likely become faster even when gaining weight!
What puck were you using?
Green biscuit
@Jim Moriarty The green biscuit works pretty well if it's smooth cement
I wish our city rinks were as clean as that one. Our local is currently under lock and chain.
Can i do this with a ball instead?
Yup. It will feel a bit different for when you do use a puck since I feel a ball has some spin on it that you have to fight a bit, but you're still working on the fundamentals of stickhandling. 🏒
Would this work without roller blades?
Yes
What kind of puck is he using?
Green Biscuit 👍🏻
