Headrests are considered part of a car seat. Generally, they are rounded bulky pieces of PU injected molding foam.
Sometimes, to put a leather or vinyl cover over this foam is not an easy task.
Fortunately, this foam is porous filled in with air and of course it can shrink and expand to recuperate its shape.
A domestic vacuum cleaner is useful to extract the air of foam piece and make it smaller. It allows us to easily adjust it into the vinyl or leather cover.
I would recommend the use of an industrial vacuum pump for your upholstery shop.

I realize I am kinda off topic but do anybody know a good place to watch new series online ?
I am trying to figure out what the plastic clips that connect the headrest together are called? I tried using velcro, which didnt look too good. I cannot find this plastic material online as I do not know what to search for. Please let me know what its called!

The seat and backrest covers are big and have open lids. That is why it is not used.

If you are going to be devoted to work with leather it should be considered as a MUST in my point of view.

Ya he respondido a Manuel, y creo que tendrá que comprar la pata por internet, como usted ha indicado. Aquí no hay muchas tiendas donde vendan máquinas industriales y recambios, y una vez que pregunté en mi tienda creo recordar que me dijeron que un pie salía por unos 40 €...

I have never done a Peugeot car, but procedures are similar in upholstery.

Maestro buen día tengo una duda y es que es tus videos muestras como poner el vivo, pero veo que la patota de la maquina es como que diferente, e querido comprar y no los venden, solo me dicen que tengo que traer la patota de la maquina que lo modifican, en ese caso yo mismo lo puedo hacer, me podría orientar, gracias de nuevo.
¿Qué tipo de máquina tiene Ud. para poder darle una mejor idea? Esta pata que muestro en el video yo la hize de una pata estandar. Para poder tallarla utilizé un mototool.
En Ebay, Amazon, etc. venden las patas para coser el vivo y lo mandan hasta la casa. Por ejemplo:

Si no contara con un mototool, tendría que tallar las ranuras con unas limas planas y redondas. En este caso la pieza original que se va a modificar debe ser de fierro, para así poder calentarla al rojo y destemplar para que pueda limar. Después de que esté lista puede quedar asi o bien volver a calentar al rojo y templarlo para que se vuelva acero otra vez. Hay que enfriar la pieza en aceite quemado.

A lo mejor venden alguna pata de otro modelo de máquina parecida. En caso de no conseguirla va a tener que hacer la adaptación. Este trabajo lo hace fácilmente un maestro tornero desde cero explicándole lo que uno quiere. Se utiliza el torno y la fresadora para hacer este trabajo. Si lo quiere hacer Ud. mismo no va a quedar a perfección, pero si va a funcionar. Tendrá que comprar otra pata igual para adaptarla. Aveces es necesario rellenar con metal. El bronce es suave de limar y darle la forma del vivo.
