YADAO Outboard Heavy Duty High-Speed Motor Water Cooling System (3.5HP 2-Stroke Water Cooling)

- This engine was purchased off of Amazon. From our research, it appears to be good quality product for the inexpensive cost. I utilized 40:1 Fuel Mix for the motor because that's what I had on-hand. Technically, it is supposed to utilize 35:1 fuel mix.
Before starting the engine, be sure to put Gear Oil in it! (Locate the proper placement for the gear oil by the propeller). Additionally, be sure to lube it up. We plan on changing the oil and lube once per year depending on usage.
Any questions feel free to ask. We haven't had any problems yet.
Thanks for watching!
Me gusta este motor pero lo ye visto en marcas diferentes incluso sin marcas pero es lo mismo?
Corren vien y baratos Tengo uno
Yes it is a hangkai. I have one. For the price I like it
@@damianreveles1703hola buenas tardes me podría enseñar cómo se encienden y qué mantenimiento tengo que darle y qué mezcla de aceite tengo que hacerle gracias ahora compré uno
Will this motor slow down enough for lake trolling 2.0mp to 3mp on a 14-foot aluminum boat?
@@Glennmc7 it should be able to, but you’ll have to use a clip or something to hold the motor in place at the speed you want. Otherwise it’ll just run and not move
That engine will not break in properly running at a constant throttle. You have to vary the engine speed avoiding full throttle too long.
@@jmaclaren4147 from our understanding, in order to break in the motor and make sure it ran properly we had to let it run at 3/4 to full speed for a couple of hours. Thats what we did and it’s been working and starting up amazingly
Can you put the link on here for the motor please if possible
Yes, we will make a video with the instructions and the motor running as well as the link for the motor later today
potresti far vedere dove va messo olio piede grazie
Yes, we will make a video in the near future showing the tips and tricks to get this engine up and running smoothly
Did it mount right on your boat or did you need a raised transom ?
it mounts right to the boat. it has handles that tighten mounts right to the back of your canoe, boat, etc
in the video, we used a piece of wood on the back of the trash can simply because the trash can's outer rim was so small that it needed a bigger gap to safely tighten to
Thank you! And the trashcan was a great idea for storage if I can’t think of anything else!
Is it worth buying was considering it for my fam for the lake on a excursion 5 raft from Amazon
On calm water it works really well for the price that it's at. You'll have a hard time if you're going against the current, but other than that it has worked well for us
Thank you for fast response bro
What type of gas does it use?
40:1 or 50:1 mixed gas
Is there not gear oil in it when it’s new out of the box?
There is no gear oil in it when it comes out of the box. I had to add my own.
How fast does water come out of the impeller outlet? As I have very little coming out
Water should continuously come out of the exhaust, hence why it is called an outboard motor. You should see a continuous 'squirt' of water coming out while the motor is on. Although it is not much water, it should still spit out of the exhaust. I hope this helps!!
@@hoovboysoutdoorsits air cooled actually, but the exhaust and gearcase are watercooled
@@melonboi186it's water cooled. It has a water jacket around the cylinder, water comes in one sides water exits into the exhaust side into the exhaust pipe
I finally got a source on these motors. Actually the hankai. This video is the 3.5 Yadao. The same 3.5 hankai seems to be a little nicer, identical parts but a bit nicer. The 3.6 hankai is superior to these, the throttle. For break in, just go use it on the water, just vary it, dont go full throttle for 10 hours or so. The hankai 3.6 throttle is super nice compared to the 3.5. The 3.6 is a little different make up with the case and style and what not.
@@hoovboysoutdoors They call it outboard, as opposed to inboard, or inboard outboard for obvious reason of engine location.
Whats the fuel ratio?
40:1 or 50:1 mixed gas
Puedo usarlo en California?
I don't see why you wouldn't be able to
Can this engine run in salt water? Where you get it
Yes it can, but with proper maintenance and cleaning. Salt Water is definitely more corrosive than fresh water. It can be found on Amazon
How’s it held up so far? I’m thinking about getting one for my 14ft jon boat
No problems as of yet. Probably have 25 hours through it and some change. Just remember to add gear oil to it. Adding the gear oil was the hardest part because you have to take the propeller off. Parts fit together pretty easily but getting them off was kind of a task. The instructions that come with it were not the best, but it was easy to figure out. We use ours on a 14 ft. canoe which weighs 84lbs on top of all our fishing gear and two adults. Runs us up river pretty easily and seems to be good on fuel. For the price, it gets the job done well.
@@hoovboysoutdoors I just ordered one, it seems hard to find a good working motor from some of the Chinese companies that have a good bit of power, but this one sounds good!
Do u have to put gear oil in these
@@keewilcox3175Read the post you replied to.
@@hoovboysoutdoors I know my way around engines. Mine blew up at half speed after 65 mins running time. It's the worst outboard i ve seen !
On amazon right now for 144
even better! Once again, it is a pretty decent motor for the price
كم سعر المحرك
a little over $200 USD!! Not too expensive for a decent working motor
