you guys are the inspiration to get me into detecting also my local radio shack had detector long time ago i know the owner for ever he sold them its not a electronics superstore not radio shack but then i seen the show for the first time and u guys was finding cool stuff and jumping around all wild and crazy yelling so dam i said that look fun so not long after that my mom and sister got me one for christmas and i was jumping around finding goodies lol im more calm now now i dont try to draw attention to my self when i dig gold bars ha ha and loot :P
If MD was an Olympic sport the gold medal would go to KG and Ringy....Love your videos and I have all of the Digger episodes saved on my DVR. I love your reactions and it is a good, clean show we can watch as a family. Keep up the good work!
Even though I’ve already commented...I saw your contest & thought I would again. I sure would love to dig a Gold medal! Thanks for sharing your tips on the Max set up. I usually run mine in Zero w/Zero iron disc. Sensitivity down one notch. Depending on how iron infested of an area. I may have to try the custom mode now. Thanks for sharing! ~ Gypsy

Ring I still want to get a detector. But I was wanting to know if you have a stack of coins in the ground will the at pro or gold pick them up?
Both will, but you have to go over the stack of coins and the machine has to be turned on. Sometimes I forget...
Nah it only picks up lollypops.

What is the size & name of the smaller coil?

I see where Ringy recently won both the Gold and Silver medal. The Silver was for telling jokes, the Gold was for stopping. !!
Does the 35 setting do good for coins?
Yes. Almost any coin will hit hard, even with 35 as the limit. Exceptions would of course be any coin made of steel (like a 1943 wheat penny).

Where do you set the threshold?
I leave it at zero. -1 to 1 range. Never really mess with it much. Just low enough so I don't hear it. RM
KEEP IN MIND THAT THE THESHHOLD IS NOT MANDIORY, I'VE USED MY GARRETT AT MAX WITHOUT USING IT (0) AND I LIKE IT BETTER !

No mention of ground balance ?
It auto ground balances, but if you want to ground balance on a salt water beach or a jumpy area, hold down the right button and pump up and down until it quiets down.
GROUND BALLACING IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE, I'D SAY IT'S THE EASIEST THING TO DO, IF NOT THE 2ND EASIEST THING TO DO. THE 1ST THING IS TURNING ON THE METAL DETECTOR. OH, YOU CAN READ UP YOUR IMFOMATION IN THE OWNER'S MANUAL, TRY THAT, THAT SHOULD BE PRETTY EASY.
I thought that was the factory setting for coins? Hummm.
Nope, we never use the factory coin mode because it usually leaves out some of the ring pull (flip top) notches, which we like to hear because we don't want to miss gold objects in that range.
Watching teenagers try to win a gold medal at the Olympics makes me feel old. lol

I went to the dentist to have a tooth fixed but the gold was too expensive, I had to settle with scrap medal.
