I love the idea that the family section is in the park but the intense section is fully isolated in a forest, so the terrified kids are totally alone in their fear. Also, that double zero-g roll is *exquisite*
I’ve always thought of this fun concept. A coaster which looks like a family coaster from the midway but backstage is the ultimate thrill ride. A way I thought of hiding this was having two tunnels designed to look like one and after the first train heads in a second train comes out and into the station
Reminds me of Crush coaster in Disneyland Paris. You can see one part of the ride in the exterior and it's just a small drop and it's nemo stuff so you think "oh it's a kiddie ride" but when you ride it, it's rough and a bit intense. It doesn't go upside down but it packs a punch. I've seen kids coming out of it crying, cracks me up everytime 😆
Would be a perfect Zamperla Lightning coaster. Starts out as an old school crappy Zamperla family coaster only to trick you and go into something more like the modern Lightning coasters. If Holiday World ever added an April Fools Day section (would love that, they definately have the sense of humour for it) this would be a perfect headliner. The only hang up is a lot of new Zamperla is the staff of old Intamin, and they might not exactly want to wirk with the sane people who did Pilgrim's Plunge again.
