- P-63C-5 Kingcobra is a fighter plane in War Thunder inline game. In this video I share my very positive experience with this vehicle in realistic ground battles. It has standard browning machineguns, 37mm cannon and secondary armament ( 500LBS bombs x3) so can deal with all types of opponents.

This is actually 3 reviews in one because there’s a rare Russian P-63-C5 that was given out to game testers in the early stages of war thunder.
A gem for any french player. Thid plane got me to the jet era. Its also the firdt thing i got an aced crew on. Such a magnificent fighter in the right hands

well, maybe is only my perception, but I dont like this plane, why? I feel it very unestable, so, maybe the people dont like it and they say is bad.

You'll probably really enjoy the Yak-9B , it gets 4 single drop 100kg bombs in a bomb bay , if you're good enough that's 4 guaranteed kills , and the 20mm can knock into panzer III/IV Roofs very easily.

This is my favorite aircraft in the game. Thank you for recognizing its potential.
This is such a strange plane in the American tech tree. It has the most firepower at 4.0, while also being the most maneuverable, fastest climber, and having serious armor. The only thing keeping it at 4.0 is that the cannon is difficult to use. It is a perfect counter to attack planes. Even one of those 37mm HE will rip a wing off.
It's can retreat from a fight too. Most planes won't catch you at low altitude

Only problem is to find good linup with this plane. This gonna bring the good 3.7 lineup to 4.0, or this plane gonna have more hard time on the next good lineup, in 5.3.

Why do I even watch War Thunder videos when I don't play the game anymore?
Well, the P63 is also great in Air RB even though I always prefered the P39s, especially P39 N-0, even in 4.0 matches

Not to call this video bad or anything, but in my oppinion the F6F-5 hellcat does everything as good or sometimes even better than this at a lower BR, you get 2 drops of 1000Lb bombs, that's more than the P-63C-5 which only gets one double drop of 500Lb bombs, and one single drop of a 500Lb bomb, on the Hellcat you also get 6 HVAR rockets, they aren't anything spectacular, but they can kill some things. The Hellcat is also fairly manueverable and gets 6 .50 cal machineguns instead of 4 .50's and one 37mm. The P-63C-5 is a waste of time as in the French tech tree you get it after the F6F-5 and in the US tech tree you don't even have to research it.
True but some people don't just use the best vehicles all the time.

That thing is compared to pretty much every other fighter at same br the least maneuverable plane (obvious in air rb) the key here is energy edvantage and the fact that everyone else takes chonk planes as cas or carries at least bombs

I wouldn't call the 37mm newbie friendly (for air combat) but the plane is still very good. P-39s are better imo (which is why I'm planning to get the BP cobra).

If you REALLY need to pitch up FAST while going at 700-800 switch to full real and pitch as hard as possible for a few seconds. Don't do it for too long or into a flat spin you go

Going more than 700 is quite difficult anyway, the acceleration is so bad in a dive that this drawback doesn't come to play very often.

What graphic settings are you using? The tanks you are bombing show up so clearly against the terrain. I have such a hard time finding targets to bomb, I get shot down half the time.
