Thank you for the great demo! No blahs blahs blahs, just, heres a few things you can do with it. I like how you show the settings you have it at when playing. Bravo.
Great Pedal! I have owned it a few months. At the 0:28 spot you pull off Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams. I use it to play a lot of classical 70's and 80's phaser/chorus tones as well i.e., Hotel California, Brass in Pocket, Come As You Are by Nirvana, Hysteria by Def Leppard and so on . It's a very under-rated pedal that deserves some BIG TIME LOVE!
My father bought me this for New Year’s Eve. I have to wait but I’m also really exited 😄. I’m gonna play A tout le Monde or Almost Honest or Come as you are with this!
One thing I can say about this, is that although I am a guitar player, I’ve had more fun running synthesizers and sequencers through some of the deeper dives on the setting changes in this pedal. It’s most definitely more for studio usage. But I guess I could twist the filter on some things without screwing it up too much during a live scenario. It has tap tempo, but I use my looper (fx loop) pedal for other functions. I guess I could try to get quicker resetting my simple small One Control unit to act as the tap tempo switch in between sets and/or songs. I think it would be much more useful to have one extra little port for an expression pedal. Or better yet, A control port like on the Empress reverb and the likes. That IS the best future for these products.
The chorus is quite nice, but after that.... The main issue I have, would be: where to put in the chain? Some of those effects work best before and some after, drive.
I would think after drives. Because only phase, univibe, filter and flanger should go before. But the way he set that flanger after gain sounds good to me. Also pitch, try octave down after drive, it sound really good, in fact I do it like that with my canyon delay. Pitch before drive sounds very nasty to me, not clear at all. Rotary is after drives of course. Trem and vibrato I think would work anyplace, and chorus too.
And also. Univibe, phaser, filter a flanger should work with a low depth setting. I think. Really thinking about getting this one to replace my chorus after drives. And I would still keep my phase 90 before drives
I'm torn on this one. I am looking for a good Tremolo pedal and I like the Trem and Rotary functions on this, but not much else. (Well the Chorus is good but I rarely use Chorus). If I could find this pedal cheap enough I'd get it because I really like my EHX Canyon, otherwise I'll look for something else.
@@jimpanse3920 A modrex would be great if they figured out how to shove it into a grand canyon/oceans 12 enclosure. As it is, it's a lot of space to dedicate to modulation.

Electro Harmonix are pure greatness and legendary
Very good demonstration! I like how you switched up the genre depending on which effect you were trying out.
Yeah, that staccato stuff sure was a good way to demo half of what this pedal could do 😒

So far, this is best demo of Mod 11. Thank you!
4:46 you could play Radiohead's My Iron Lung with that setting

That's not Green Day at all lol
That filter setting at the end was pretty dope. Good for soundscapes on the fly.
Indeed the best demo of this pedal. I wish we could save each effect settings…
Hands down the most versatile pedal you can buy without needing to take out a mortgage.
For modulations you are correct. But in general, that would be the Zoom MS-50G.

No offense but who in the fuck gets presents for new years eve?

I'm twice jealous. For the pedal. And because my own parents forgot my birthday a few times. 😂
I wonder how many people have purchased this pedal based on this video alone? It's brilliant! 🎉
Got me with the chorus and trem. Gonna have this pedal. Nice demo

Have this pedal myself. Think it’s great especially the rotary
Excellent demo video. No BS just sounds.
Love this review format!
EHX definitely have the best pedals at their price point. I've had a few on my board over the years.
I was not looking for this kind of pedal at all but Im really liking this x)
Very useful demo! My best compliments! I like this pedal effect.
Great, straightforward Demo.
3:58 can you post the tablature for this ? I am missing the notes you do to get to the last chord 😹 and I need it badly.
Dude I was thinking I also need to learn this when I heard that part
@@cjscarff6453 I learned it 😆 but I would have to remember again. I think it used g major triad on the 10th fret if I remember correctly
@@088Noir very cool. Thank u sm
Seems to to everything reasonably well, even the Univibe and octaver. TZF sounds killer.

Wow I usually don’t use many effects but I might need one of these.
All great patches
Great video. Many thanx
Nice video! 👏🏻
키보드 느낌이 너무 좋아서 계속 치고 싶어지는 마법이에요.
Momentary switch? Thought this had one but can't find one demo of it?
Great pedal, Can this be used with a standard #9v multi power brick? I see the power rating is 9.6v not 9v
The sounds are good, but it's doesn't seem a very practical pedal for a live situation without a preset function.
It would be perfect if it was set up like a boss rc3 or even the pog2
Have to agree. Own this, love it, but strictly in a recording context.
Agreed, I hope they do a 12 soon.

Top of the list!
videos so good i had to buy it
So wait is the pitch shifter monophonic or polyphonic? I didn't hear a strum.
I like it. I'D BUY IT. its $350 in my country. Hello from New Zealand.
In Brazil its $1300. You are realy lucky.

I find that EHX pedals don't play nice with others when daisy-chained to the same power source.

It's only modulation effects, but you're mostly right
