Some of the best Lizzie McGuire episodes were the ones that focused on her relationship with her parents. The episode where her mom buys her some off brand jeans but Lizzie and her friends buy the designer ones she originally wanted is one of my favorites. That was the genius thing about this show, it was heartfelt without being forced or overly cheesy.

Lizzie Mcguire was one of my fav childhood show. Each episodes shows the people how to treat a person right and give us a lesson. And all of the stories are also great. That's what i like about Lizzie Mcguire.

A Craft or Trade is a career (that's essential to current society) that doesn't require a ton of college/university education. Like construction, factory lines, lumberjack, etc. Ethan is shown to be a good and kind character, but not book smart. He probably wouldn't get into a college. Hence why his last name "Craft" could also be a pun on his likely future career path. It's an interesting thought. I don't know if creators have confirmed that's the reason for his last name or not, but it's a good connection. I do think the show went a bit overboard with his "dimwit" characterization. Obviously, most people in crafts/trades aren't like Ethan, his character is an exaggeration. But most Disney sitcoms are known for using copious amounts of exaggeration and absurdism to be funny for kids. It's not like Ethan was the most exaggerated part of the show, by far.
That first kiss episode was awesome. I love this show so much. I’m thankful for that Disney+ I was able to rewatch it in like a week. I hope they take the reboot to Hulu for the 28+ year olds like me.

The Ronnie episode was #1 for me when I was a kid. A pretty accurate portrayal of lame middle school love that lasts about a week but feels like the end of life. I had a very BRIEF "boyfriend" at that age and the episode helped my little girl mind heal lol

Well middle school, no kid show is 100% realistic but Lizzie McGuire was 1 of the more grounded shows and felt closer to realism. The 2010s only had a handful of shows that were genuinely good

The episodes of Disney shows in the early 2000s about stuff like eating disorders and first heartbreaks and all that had a purpose beyond just being something to laugh at. Sure, there weren't lasting punishments and things got worked out at the end of the episode, but it's something. I think Lizzie McGuire was the peak of Disney Channel in a way.
Actually in this show (and other Disney Channel shows that came out during the 2000) the characters DID face consequences and got caught by their parents most of the time. I was a kid who got to watch Lizzie McGuire and Even Stevens thru reruns (especially the former) while still experiencing new shows like Raven, Suite Life, Hannah, Wizards and such. The 00s overall was a stronger decade quality wise than the 2010s were

Geez really? This was a bit before my time. I was more aware of Disney celebrities around the days of Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale, Miley Cyrus, etc. I was 5-9 years old when Lizzie Maguire was airing, never got the Disney channel until I was 16 to boot! But I remember hearing all the old gossip from school mates and seeing all the tween magazines at grocery stores lol! I had a fun Lizzie Maguire Game Boy Advance game though! But Aaron probably acted like most teenage guys. Nick Jonas acted similarly with Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. My middle school and high school years were filled with relationship scandals lol. Aaron hasn't had an easy time since his teenage fame though...he's struggled a lot. Both aren't the huge stars they were in the 2000s, but Hilary is at least content from what I gather.

I was more aware of Disney celebrities around the days of Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale, Miley Cyrus, etc. I was 5-9 years old when Lizzie Maguire was airing, never got the Disney channel until I was 16 to boot! But I remember hearing all the old gossip from school mates and seeing all the tween magazines at grocery stores lol! I had a fun Lizzie Maguire Game Boy Advance game though!
But Aaron probably acted like most teenage guys. Nick Jonas acted similarly with Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. My middle school and high school years were filled with relationship scandals lol. Aaron hasn't had an easy time since his teenage fame though...he's struggled a lot. Both aren't the huge stars they were in the 2000s, but Hilary is at least content from what I gather.
Hillary duff and lalaine were the cutest most talented and they both are really 🔥 actresses
