I loved the variety of pop-culture references in this mod, from the gear concepts to the flavor texts. really shows the passion that the creator had for this project.

Modded runs are always really fun to watch. The best part about them in my opinion is hearing Joltz' reaction to the new stuff. I hope he checks out the Wonderlands Redux mod one day. It has dedicated drops, pearlescent rarity, new gear, skill changes, chaos overhaul, and a lot more. It's a huge mod and it fixes a lot of the issues Joltz has with the game.
The amount of time and effort put.into.this mod is insane!!! So so so so GOOOD!!! Would love to see real time game play and synergy of builds with these new weapons!!! OMG the possibilities!!!
I think getting a community post on if anyone would like to see a modded playthrough and not just a showcase would be awesome! If it doesn't work out and people vote a normal playthrough then we have the majority answer and it would be a win win if the community and streamer are feeling the same mood.
Hey joltz, I understand that with these modded runs there's nothing new to show off in later playthroughs. However, I always wish you still played them more since I want to see the builds you come up with, using all the new gear. I feel like that's half the fun and you'd make some fun stuff. For mods that really change the game like character skill trees combined with new gear, I’d love to see full character playthroughs just to demonstrate all of the different interactions characters have with new the new gear. It’d be a good watch for those of us that don’t have a pc to check them out for ourselves

I was looking forward to seeing you play the game with the new items. If I only wanted to know the farms & effects Id just read the spreadsheet :( But I guess you'd probably not enjoy jt much, so itd be a cost unto yourself to satisfy that want.
Why don't you start runs like these at max level or in the least at TVHM? Part of the fun of these mods is seeing brand new synergies and combos that can work in ways you've not seen before. Starting every run at level 1 is fine, but it feels like we're missing some cool possible building that could be happening when we run through the exact same formula from 1-40 and then skip to kill a raid boss and go 'Wow, gun' and drop it later. Especially since a major consideration is given to how these guns perform in endgame where enemy health/slagging matters [or doesn't based on how much the mod changes that part of the game]
This was a fresh change of pace from previous runs, although from what ive seen this mod is a bit overpowered and needs some heavy balancing for some weapons, but great mod regardless! If i could add one thing to this mod though, it would be a yellowjacket style weapon thats actually usable for late game. The gimmick it has, has great potential for mods :)
One thing I thought was cool about this mod (that I saw today) is the multiple drops from Hyperious with his name. Would be cool to see expansion of set gear in bl4 from bosses n such

Like the mod play throughs so much! If I could make a suggestion, if you feel up to it you could add a day and play with a Lvl 80 character and either do some bossing or push through the story with your favorite gear?
I believe the Chelonia is a reference to the book "Small Gods" by Terry Pratchett. The plot focuses around a God who finds himself stuck in the body of a small turtle, as well as the prophet and last true believer in that god.
Chelonia is just the scientific name for a sea turtle, btw. Which comes up repeatedly in the aforementioned book because the whole world where the story takes place rests on the back of an enormous cosmic sea turtle.
i would like to see a full playthrough to uvhm on one of these big overhauls, showing off the items is the point of these runs but showing how they would work for different builds would be really cool to see as well

yo joltz, you mentioned set bonuses, do you think they should bring diablo like set bonuses to the next borderlands games, something like the mouth hygiene set for movement bonuses, but more
the raid boss combos are insane , would have loved to see an insane build with all the corrosion boosting or u could even on the terra kill have used the slag bonus artefact to slag him while having infinite ammo but yeah sad to see the run end but yeah was fun while it lasted.
I’d love to see some challenge runs using these mods, even if it’s just a single video. So many different combos and synergies. Like melee gun axton only or something lol
Love ur vids WIll we get a full modded run to op 10 ? It would be fun and interesting what builds you could build with that. Specially with midpacks with new class mods
Idk how you do it man. Watching and following along with your op10 zero and your like “10 runs later got fire CC” I’m on hour 3 Edit. Then I got the sniper stovk pile purple at 67% in 4 runs. Also took 2 hours to get an on level b. Wish there was a mod to increase drop rates for people like me who don’t have hours and hours.

It also opens up challenge runs. And if it's a showcase, showcase everything late game, that's how most of us play the game now anyways

This mod is easily among the coolest bl2 mods there are, it feels like a borderlands version of calamity. There's so much that feels so on theme.

So far this mod has been my favorite, a lot of the items felt very unique and were clever with the effects they had.
