I'm from Singapore, stumble upon your channel to watch the everyday life in Ghana. Had a friend who's from Ghana but live in Russia. His name is John. Appreciate what you have done to share Ghana daily life. Because here in Singapore, no news from Ghana. Stay safe and bye bye 🇸🇬 🇬🇭
This video brings me back to one of my sweet childhood memories.I used to love this sweets, so this is how it is being processed, I love chewing it. Here in Cameroon we call it Bongkah.Ours wasn't made locally, it was being processed by company so it was well labelled. It is still been sold.My kids love. Thanks for the Video Tatiana
Taty, Taty, Taty! Great job on the chewy candy production💥💥💥! Young lady was industrious and did a great job in walking the audience through the step-by-step process💪🏾. It is remarkable that the skill and trade has been passed down from her mother to her, as it should be. This is how local communities keep skills alive. Really really glad to see that. That candy takes me down memory lane in a very serious way. Used to eat that candy in both Kumasi and Accra. Never knew how it was made, but just that it was delicious! Thanks to your channel, we know now🙂. That rain was a very tough down pour could hear it through the audio portion of the video. Hoping that Sunyani does not flood like Accra💦💦💧. Any little sprinkling and parts of Accra are quickly flooding🌧️☔. Through Ala's camera work we witnessed the formation of storm clouds📸🎥. Very well done! You are doing amazing with your UA-cam channel, and keep the content coming. We just love it❤️!
Great recipe I just made mine now. I used to do this but with just oil and condensed milk but with the butter and evaporated milk, it's just so good.the only challenge is getting it wrap. Can you let it cold before wrapping ?
My friends mum in nigeria do make and sell , mennnnn that is my favorite candy when I was young I can send all my money on this oo Thanks for the video sis
Memories is the word. My grandma ban everyone from sending me to go and do shopping for them because money will goes towards this sweet, then my grandma has to find the money to pay the person
Love the video But sis remember that condensed milk at least the one I am used to is made from sugar so therefore the toffee is delicious but not so healthy.
I loved and love making this and it really fetched me some cash back at tertiary and I'm still doing it. Just that she seemed to have gotten much from one tin. Is it because she added enough margarine or the milk?? Extra tips needed please.

I have a little twist which is Nutmeg
She should add nutmeg next time and tank me later
And also coconut oil for rolling
How much nutmeg pls with these ingredients? Thanks

I was just thinking the same, wonder if this taste similar to the lolipops that are popular in Mexico.

You got me wanting to come to Ghana Lady.
Eeiii memories condensed milk tofee 👍👍
That is so nice. You said that the ingredients are 1 kg condensed milk, 250 grams butter, but you didn't mention the amounts of the evaporated milk.
I think the milk u add will depend on how sweet u want ur toffee cos she mentioned he adds the milk to reduce the sweetness a bit
