Undisputed Super Middleweight king Saul "Canelo" Alvarez chats with Cynthia and Jeandra for BWBSP ahead of his fight against undefeated former world champion Jaime Munguia. Canelo talks about why he decided to fight a Munguia, a fellow Mexican for his Cinco De Mayo fight in Las Vegas, why he didn't choose Benavidez, Morrell or Berlanga and will those be future opponents for him.
Alvarez is also very candid on the difference with working with certain promoters and why he like working with them. He's also very honest on his broken relationship with his former promoter Oscar De La Hoya and if there is any possibility of a reconciliation. Lastly, Canelo is a huge fan of Isaac "Pitbull" Cruz and states he beats everyone in his division!

Canelo knows if he waits longer, he will eventually get 150 million dollars for the fight. Juan Manuel Marquez was offered 150 million dollars to fight Many Pacquiao again for the 5th fight but he rejected the offer because he was done with that trilogy. 4 fights was good enough to satisfied the fans. After he put Manny Pacquiao to sleep on the 4th fight, that was good enough to close that chapter of his life.
Canelo Is always nicer with the ladies. He was very stern and cold with another dude who interviewed him on the same day and Canelo basically said "anything to do with that fight". Wether Canelo was just being mean or he's less cold with the ladies and lies to them, we'll have to see, but I don't see that fight happening anytime soon

Nah Benavidez was supposed to be in May 4th, but he wanted to be the fight in 2023 September. But Canelo chose Charlo. So theres no more excuses to give the fan the fight with benavidez.
