I will always remember 😢 my good friend Taylor whenever I hear any song by The Cure. She was a 13 yrs older than me so the 80s was her teenage years...she dressed kinda Bettie page goth. Sadly addiction and the life took her whereas I survived. I miss her!❤
Oh it's opening time Down on Fascination Street So let's cut the conversation And get out for a bit Because I feel it all fading and paling And I'm begging To drag you down with me To kick the last nail in Yeah I like you in that Like I like you to scream But if you open your mouth Then I can't be responsible For quite what goes in Or to care what comes out So just pull on your hair Just pull on your pout And let's move to the beat Like we know that it's over If you slip going under Slip over my shoulder So just pull on your face Just pull on your feet And let's hit opening time Down on Fascination Street So pull on your hair Pull on your pout Cut the conversation Just open your mouth Pull on your face Pull on your feet And let's hit opening time Down on Fascination Street Down on Fascination Street Down on Fascination Street Down on Fascination Street On Fascination Street
So just pull on your hair, just pull on your pout. And let's move to the beat like we know that it's over. If you slip going under, slip over my shoulder. So just pull on your face, just pull on your feet. And let's hit opening time down on Fascination Street. 🖤🖤🖤🎸
I’m pretty sure the bass line was recorded on the Bass VI. Robert composed this bass line, so it’s likely it was written on a Bass VI. And given Robert went to the trouble of bringing the Coral Sitar (which the lead lines were recorded on) - there appears to have been some attempt to keep the guitars in the clip accurate to the recording for some reason.
Mamamia que temazo !!! ✌🏻🇪🇸♥️♥️♥️
One the best sound bass ever. Greatness
Absolutely right

Oh it's opening time
Down on Fascination Street
So let's cut the conversation
And get out for a bit
Because I feel it all fading and paling
And I'm begging
To drag you down with me
To kick the last nail in
Yeah I like you in that
Like I like you to scream
But if you open your mouth
Then I can't be responsible
For quite what goes in
Or to care what comes out
So just pull on your hair
Just pull on your pout
And let's move to the beat
Like we know that it's over
If you slip going under
Slip over my shoulder
So just pull on your face
Just pull on your feet
And let's hit opening time
Down on Fascination Street
So pull on your hair
Pull on your pout
Cut the conversation
Just open your mouth
Pull on your face
Pull on your feet
And let's hit opening time
Down on Fascination Street

On Fascination Street
Best bass intro to any song ever. Don’t argue with me about it, I didn’t make it that way. They did.
This song is nothing short of EPIC!! Love THE CURE!❤🎶💕🎶
Quando la musica si impossessa del tuo DNA... Sono trascorsi molti anni... Ma sempre attuali... Intramontabili e iconici The Cure forever🔝🎶💯
How can anyone not aknowlege the CURE as the the best band ever? The Cure is as good as it gets.
Definitely underrated by most
Because it's Led Zeppelin.
That said, The Cure is fucking awesome.
They are one of my favorites
Definitely one of the very best
And still as good as it gets
i love this amazing song, is unique :)
After hearing the disintegration cd back in 89,no other music can match up,it makes me not want to ever hear any other music. Its that good.
I swear it's always the underrated ones...

From The Edge Of The Deep Green Sea

Enakkk wokkk
No parece un live pero buenisimo aun asi, siemore resalto la gran linea de bajo que hay.... Y en esta cancion lo volvere a hacer.
This is not live, is it?
of course not : )
why only has 3900 reproductions!!!
🖤❤️🥰
Listen how different this is mixed compared to album version. Big difference for me, here is much better.
let's hit opening time
Down on fascination street....
why claim this is be live? it is just a playback video with Simon oddly handling a fender bass VI instead of his weapon of choice.

Fender Bass VI
It says it’s live but Robert Smith had no mic. Why false advertise that?
I don’t think it’s false advertising - it’s clearly a mistake.
