BMW X5 drivers seat removal and side bolster leather repair

Most f15/f85 bmws that ive seen experience bottom side bolster seat damage. I took my seat by the upholstery shop and had my seat cushion repaired and foam fixed/reinforced. Closest color we were able to match to aragon brown was maserati orange.
Overall seat removal is fairly straightforward (step by step in this video), definitely happy with the end result

My F85 the leather looks shiny on front seat side bolster, is the best idea just taking to an upholsterer? Or do you think there might be a way to remove shine?

You can use off the shelf cleaners like lexol to protect and clean, ai would try that to maybe see where are you at and if its gone and needs upholstery work or basic cleaning could save your situation
