Until the rights issues with Adora/She-ra are resolved, not much can be done with Despara as Adam's twin sister Adora aka She-ra.

If She-Ra & Catra appears or not depends entirely on Mattel making a deal with DreamWorks, however some signs that makes me think they will not is the change to democracy. Why? Well maybe to avoid the legal issues of "princess Adora"? Yes She-Ra uses princesses the same way He-Man have masters so there is a possability it was done for legal reasons...
Here's why I disagree, they mention Horde Prime. UNLIKE She-ra ( Frosta, Catra, Bow, Mermista, but especially She-ra ) whom Mattel was HEAVILY involved in the creation of and owns the character copyright and trademark to, even though they don't have the movie and television rights to her, Horde Prime was ENTIRELY a Filmation creation ( like Shadow Weaver, Madame Razz, and [ quiet as it's kept ] the Horde troopers ). She-ra, Frosta, Mermista, Bow, Catra, Swift Wind ALL had Mattel toys and featured in Mattel minicomics in the original MOTUPOP 1980s era, often with differences in design from their cartoon versions ( and She-ra, Swift-Wind, Hordak and Catra appeared with He-Man, the sorceress of Grayskull and Man-at-arms, in the 1984 copyrighted The Story of She-ra mincomic, even before the He-Man & She-ra: the Secret of The Sword hit movie theaters in Spring 1985 ( 6 months ahead of the She-ra show premiered ). Horde Prime NEVER appeared in the minicomics, and ( like Weaver and Razz ) NEVER had a toy in the original MOTUPOP era ( all three would eventually have figures in Mattel's MOTU classics line under Scot Neitlich ). Horde Prime belongs to NBCU/Dreamworks 100%, whereas they only have tv and movie rights to She-ra and can't stop Mattel from making toys of her or putting her in books and comics. If Horde Prime is in, a deal has pretty much certainly been arranged.
@@gibranlewis7300 There has been a horde prime action figure yet it looks nothing like the horde prime in Filmation, I do think a deal could have been struck and I kinda hope it is so because majority will be let down if no She-Ra. I am however very realistic and think we will not see her or Catra, but if they did strike a deal Mattel would probably have to agree to terms DreamWorks sets which means they have some creative input? Catradora again? Personally I would think that could be interesting.
I'm just glad I finally got to see Hodack in a badass fight. I've waited since the 2003 series to see him in action, and he did not disappoint. I'm really looking forward to them bringing in King Hiss. They are heavily hinting at the Snakemen and I'm curious how dark King Hiss will get. I have this theory that he's Teela's father and that's why the snake magic had such a potent effect on her. By that I mean she seems to have a natural affinity to it and him being her dad would explain why.

This isn't LOTR. Nobody sat down and wrote some encyclopedia about what the "official" MOTU canon would be. Each project, the mini comics, DC comics in the 80's, Star Comic, Filmation, New Adventures, 200X, Image Comics, classic bios, DC's Eternity War, 87 movie, POP, DreamWorks She Ra, UK comics, German comics, Golden books, CGI, Dark horse comics, did I leave anything out? Oh, table top games, video games and even popular fan projects. And both of Mike Halperns series bibles. And more. Literally every project has the job of plucking out what they can make use of from the existing lores, which is a huge mishmash of genre tropes, added to, changed and invented by an insane number of writers, artists, show runners, toy sculptors and Mattel.
I like what this series put together from all that.
I don't get anybody whose all like "that's not canon!" About anything MOTU. Literally all of its multitude of "canons" contradict themselves. The messy lore is part of its charm, really.

Kevin didn’t redeem himself because he didn’t do nothing wrong in the first place. People need to understand that your favorite character doesn’t always have to be the main character.
I'd even say that He Man never stopped being the main character of the show. I mean, the death of Superman comics run wasn't a way to get rid of Superman. It was a way to refresh a longstanding property so it wouldn't keep treading the same ground over and over again. Revelations was all about how important He Man is in this fictional universe. That's why his "death" changed so much about it and about the characters depicted as closest to him.
While the idea that Keldor would be redeemed I highly doubt this, the flashbacks of his training under Hordak showed he as resentful of being "pushed aside" due to the ancient rules keeping his people from Eternos, he was even pushing his Skeletor identity to eliminate Motherboard and Hordak to "take what is yours." If this was a continuation of the 1980s Masters of the Universe series then I doubt Adora's existence would be a shock as Adam and his parents knew Adora was Adam's kidnapped twin sister, especially as the flashback of Hordak's kidnapping showed Skeletor being held back while Marlena appeared to be holding baby Adam, but given her offered role as a Cosmic Enforcer I'd definitely love to see where this places Lyn in whatever iteration comes next
Who is this SkeletAk he keeps going on about? It's Skeletech as is Skeletor-Techno also why does he call it a Bacta tank...? Bacta tanks and the Bacta fluid are from Star Wars. I may be wrong but I don't ever recall a single episode from any MOTU series where they refer to a healing chamber as a Bacta tank.
I did like the nod to the MYP MOTU 2002 with the sword that split open when it was upgraded and overall though this was a much better season than season 1, however I personally believe the MOTU 2002 series still beats it hands down, no contest.

No, She-Ra was already canonically introduced and the series of both already mixed and intertwined with each other. She already converted to good and already met her parents. Are you saying this "sequel" will now start erasing parts of the original and partially reboot?
They already changed things. For example, the Sorceress was married to King Grayskull which would make her Adams Great GrandMother and when Adam changes into He-man he inherited the power of his Great Grandfather King Grayskull ; but in the new series Teela is the Sorceress's daughter and her Father is Man at Arms. I Believe in the original He-man Man-at-Arms is Teela's Uncle.
I loved this Season and is so much better than the previous 1. Where it ties everything togther from: the comics, live action movie, filmation cartoon, and the toys.
Yes, I believe She-Ra will appear in the next. As now we know why, she didn't in this season. I can wait for the next season and I also hope the story will be as good as this season and will premiere soon 🙏

I think it's kind of strange that they keep saying that this is the sequel to the original cartoon because if that's true then that means Adam would already know about Adora and even Horde Prime. Which would limit what they can do with the mystery of Despara because we already know who she is and what she's capable of.
As one I wasn't a fan of the first one, but Revolution was spot on to me. It was nice to almost feel like watching the old shows again. I feel that it is obvious that Despara is Adora and we might see her arch. I am a bit disappointed as we were supposed to be picking up where we left off, but due to copyright issues no Adora to start the series. I hope they can get them. I enjoyed this season and I really don't want to see Skeletor changing. It always leaves room for more stories if Skeletor is bad. If you redeem him then what? Heman really has had the exact same enemy cast for my whole life. I think would be a hard thing to make a new villain that all fans except.
A possible plot line you missed was the inclusion of the Snakemen and King Hiss, since the Teela was show in her DC comics snake sorceress form.

I loved the art style of 2018 DreamWorks She Ra. Bright moon, the character redesigns, they were colorful, full of character, just lovely. Just saying.
The motu: revolution team has done the greatest MOTU, POP, and/or MOTUPOP related thing in animation ( MOTU Classics toys/minicomics and the DC/Mattel comics collaborations have been doing it right since about 2010 ) in over 35 years since the last Filmation MOTUPOP episodes wrapped up on the She-ra side of the fable/franchise in 1987: they have reunified the twins, who never should have been separated, they have restored the single greatest He-Man family drama of the original MOTUPOP era, including the dark fairytale worthy abduction of the infant Princess Adora from her twin brother Prince Adam's side by the evil warlock/warlord/bogeyman Hordak. The recreation in revoltuions episode 3 of the classic He-Man & She-ra: The Secret of The Sword movie scene of Hordak abducting Adora from her and Adam's shared nursery was FLAWLESS!! They made it keep all the main points, but also made it much more visually stunning and much darker ( the shift from day to night was genius for such a straight-out-of a child's [ and any parents' ] nightmare scene ), even including such details as the unicorn plush by Adora's overturned crib and the green tiger plushy beside Adam's. Even if they didn't get the She-ra rights and have to use the alias character name of Despara, everybody still knows who she is, and the worst of the separation damage is still healed, HOWEVER, because Mattel has FAR more rights and claims to She-ra, Catra, Frosta etc ( all of whom Mattel co-created and all of whom had original era Mattel toys and minicomic inclusion ) than they do to Horde Prime ( or even the Horde troopers ) who was TOTALLY a Filmation creation ( Horde Prime had NO original era toy and NO minicomic appearances, and the horde troopers didn't get toys and minicomics until over a year AFTER Filmation introduced them in the He-Man & She-ra: The Secret of The Sword movie ), the fact that "Despara" mentions Horde Prime at all strongly suggests that some agreement has been reached over the convoluted rights between the parent companies.

Seem like the series is not following the 80s tv show but the comics. If Adora is this dark havock or whatever she is called it is going to remove the Secret of the Sword saga and the She-ra series from the 80s.

Id love to see She-Ra in the 3rd season. The problem I have with this IS that this is supposed to be a continuation of the Filmation series. Therefore they should all already know about Adora as she should already be She_Ra. Ho Hum.
Perhaps they are only not considering Secret of the Sword and She Ra to be canon.
"Spiritual sequel." That means they wanted the vague feel of Filmation. Not literally a remake of actual Filmation scripts, plots, etc. Sorry if that's what you wanted. I saw some "faking Filmation" stuff James Eatoch was working on until he got hit with copyright infringement, and the Tale of the Three Terrors. But they were just homages to Filmation. There wasn't much to them. Still, they are out there if you haven't seen them already. The Return of Faker and The Tale of the Three Terrors. They are only a few minutes long.

OMG, can you just call this the fanboy channel since you'll slop up any garbage thrown your way. This second season (obviously not as bad as the first) is still full of ridiculous messaging that is completely out of character of the characters. Prince Adam has to give up being King because reasons. Then he gives up the throne at the end to have "democracy" (which is a completely foreign concept to a kingdom, especially one which was ruled over properly). I have a degree in anthropology, and I can tell you that this is absolutely absurd! People don't act this way. It's a bunch of woke weirdos projecting their values on this property. I'm not watching it and neither are my kids. Netflix killed this franchise with season 1, and they are so inept at storytelling that even when they try to tell a good story they fail.
