Great skills man! I really love your covers. Thank you for sharing your talents guys. Btw i must have listened to your Ill Wind covers over 1000 Times. Love u guys. GG
I suggest you make a double cover of Free In The Knowledge/A Hairdryer as The Smile do in their shows. I know this is the hard and long work, but if it will happen it's gonna be so cool. This cover is so good as always. Keep going guys!)
They already done Open The Floodgates, check it) With other suggestions I completely agree, would be cool if they do Free In The Knowledge/A Hairdryer as in the live
Ok, that was badass and perfect for a cold, rainy evening. Love the vocals, great guitar and bass tones. Always enjoy seeing what t-shirts make an appearance :)
This is fucking awesome (as usual) holyyyy!!! I really like you guys playing together, looking forward for the next ones from The Smile and Radiohead! Taka gear always paying off
Off the charts guys... wonderful! My fave track from ALFAA When Joey's guitar kicks in I found myself fist pumping haha Do you find it more fun to recreate The Smile since their material is a tad bit less precise then RH?
Thanks!! I find Smile just as fun as Radiohead to recreate, but yeah there’s some cooler raw energy moments like that one (ripping off a big fuzzy strum)
@@JoeEdelmann3awesome man! I can’t wait til you do get one, I love your breakdown videos and great covers. Is that the only song Thom uses the Matriarch on?
@@JoeEdelmann3 Thank you! It's just genuinely trippy to know I was singing along to under the bridge with one of my favorite members of the radiohead community lol
Thanks! I may throw one together, but as a first quick hint, it’s in Drop D tuning but makes use of the open E string on top of a melody on the B and G strings
@@JoeEdelmann3 Awesome! Thanks for the answer. I'm always surprised at the level of minute details that go into these renditions, using these foot pedals and recording live parts gives a real-sounding element that you can always hear in Thom's music. Y'all are awesome, hugs from brazil.
what is this? a smile song that’s actually easy on like every instrument?! i must be dreaming!
@@booled1 it’s actually a bit of a stamina challenge on drums!! 😅 those fast eighth notes get tiring
@@JoeEdelmann3 that’s true! same thing with the smoke, the hi-hat job is insane.
Oh hell yea

Il est rare que j'aime les reprises mais là ... chapeau 😍🤪
Nice! Epic song and a respectable cover
I think this song is kinda underrated. Great cover as aways.
Best Radiopeople covers on UA-cam. Simply amazing, thank you! Adelaide is amazing as well.

Nice, I have the same RHCP shirt. Have you been to a concert of them recently too?
Yep! Saw them at MetLife it was a super good show
it is better than the original
Doesn’t Thom use a Moog matriarch?
He does! I don’t have one! Yet… 😜
@@JoeEdelmann3awesome man! I can’t wait til you do get one, I love your breakdown videos and great covers. Is that the only song Thom uses the Matriarch on?
@@Ahjussi42 thanks! I’m not sure off hand… he might use it on one or two other songs 🤔
What part of the song/instrument is Taka playing on the foot controller? Also, I'm so shocked, I was at metlife for RHCP also and I wish I saw you!
Oh nice! RHCP was such a good show!
He’s playing that low synth bass drone using the foot pedals!

@@throwawayaccount7603 haha we’re all just music super fans here! 🤘
Ultra cool, is it possible to get a tab for the guitar part? It gives so much dopamine😂
Thanks! I may throw one together, but as a first quick hint, it’s in Drop D tuning but makes use of the open E string on top of a melody on the B and G strings
@@JoeEdelmann3 thank you! Should I sent you an email or will you post a tutorial?
Does anyone know what that large piece of equipment is at 0:30?
Its the Studiologic MP-117 MIDI foot pedal controller I believe! Taka is using it to trigger an Oberheim SEM bass synth plugin.

where can I find the Bass Tab?
Your singing at the end was great, you pitch was better than Thoms lol
Hey, how many bpm is this song?
Bass tabs?
Great cover only thing l would say you need to slightly slow it down and give the song more depth , did enjoy your rendition though
More radiohead no other project and please can You show more guitar or tutorial
It's good clearly, but why do you try to sound like him?
